My love for music lead me to another art form; photography. I went from recording studios to photo studios and I haven’t looked back. While working on social media projects for Diddy and meeting celebrities left and right i figured it would be the perfect time to start doing photography. While artist portraits and club photography felt fun, the vanity soon wore off and i wanted to produce images that would be more meaningful. Wedding photography created a happy medium for me.

Ashleigh Rae Staton has been photographing since high school. After signing up for the only photography course at her school in her sophomore year she was hooked. Starting with her father's manual Nikon, and then with a 35mm Canon given as a gift from her uncle, Staton began documenting. She went on to study visual arts and sociology at the Gallatin School at NYU where she developed her ethos, her passions and garnered experience working in both wet and digital darkrooms.
