I’m Johnattan, owner and lead photographer of The NYC Wedding Photographer. I specialize in capturing weddings in a natural, timeless way while making the entire experience feel easy and comfortable for my couples. From helping with posing and timelines to capturing the candid moments you may not even realize are happening, my goal is to document the full story of your wedding day. I work throughout New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, and surrounding areas, offering both photography and videography for couples who want a team they can trust from beginning to end.

What sets us apart is how involved we are throughout the entire experience. We don’t simply show up and take photos. We help guide posing, keep things moving smoothly, work closely with your other vendors, and make sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our photography and videography teams each focus on their specialty, allowing us to give both sides of your wedding the attention they deserve. We also focus heavily on real emotions and candid moments while still creating polished portraits you’ll want to print and display for years.

    So great!

    Johnattan was so great - he was so professional and fun! He encapsulated everything we wanted as we were looking to do a very NY centric photoshoot - he gave great direction and was very patient with what we would like. The pictures came out amazing and exactly what we wanted - our friends and family absolutely loved them. Could not recommend him enough!!

    We hired Johnattan as the photographer for our September 6, 2026 wedding. We had an excellent experience with Johnattan. He was on time on our wedding day, communicative in the months leading up to it, and had great ideas for different shots and locations. He was friendly, professional, and constantly working throughout the day to get the best shots. He even drove my husband and groomsmen back to our apartment after my bridesmaids and I forgot our bouquets. Our photos turned out beautifully, and they were delivered very quickly. We would definitely recommend hiring Johnattan!
