We recently celebrated our wedding at the Visitation and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The venue is absolutely stunning — every detail, from the outdoor tent, the surrounding town and most importantly the reception space, created the perfect backdrop for our day. Our guests were so impressed by the atmosphere and the seamless flow of the event. The staff was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. Communication leading up to the wedding was clear and timely, and the coordination on the day of was flawless. We felt well taken care of and truly able to enjoy every moment without stress. The food and service exceeded expectations, and the overall organization reflected a high level of experience and care. While every wedding has small details that pop up along the way, the team handled everything quickly and with professionalism. We’re so grateful to have chosen the Visitation and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful setting and a reliable, dedicated staff to bring their vision to life. Sunhouse Farm & Events was a wonderful choice for our wedding venue. Their communication throughout the planning process was very good - they were responsive and helpful in guiding us through all the options. The venue itself was beautiful, with open lots of space that allowed us to customize the layout to our liking. The flowers they provided were lovely and really complemented the natural, rustic feel of the space. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our special day.

Had the most amazing experience and wedding this fall at Dulaneys. The staff is amazing and gives recommendations for vendors that frequent there and their coordinator we had, Maddie, was a god send for an unfortunate event with our original photographer and was in constant communication with us prior to the wedding. Amazing views as well as a great area to get ready in for both guys and girls.

Enjoy everything the farm has to offer! Walker's Overlook is the founding venue in the Overlooks family. We are very proud of our farm; the charm of the treelined drive, the stone house, and the allure of photographs in front of the vintage car which has been in the family for generations. We are excited to meet you and delighted to help you plan your perfect day! From the spacious bridal suite upstairs to the mancave downstairs there's so much more to the stone built colonial house than just great photo ops! The old walnut tree at the ceremony site is a gorgous backdrop to your vows with the rolling countryside and farmland of Maryland completing the perfect setting. Then reserve a sweet spot on the patio or inside the house for cocktails before dinner is served in the spacious tent. Complete with hardwood floor, the tent can accomodate up to 275 guests comfortably, and still has space for a large dance floor.

  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Space for a large guest list
  • Dressing room available

Venue considerations

  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Not for you if you're looking for a sleek and contemporary space
Walker's Overlook is a hidden gem and was the perfect venue for our October wedding! The ceremony area is absolutely gorgeous and provides an incredible backdrop for photos, while the reception tent offers a cozy, rustic vibe complete with wood floors and string lights. The owners, Mark and David, are the best. They are both super hands-on and were great to communicate with throughout the whole process. Mark checked in on us regularly during the year leading up to our wedding and made sure we knew exactly what to expect on the wedding day. One of the best things about Walker's is that they provide an in-house wedding coordinator, so we didn't need to hire a separate planner. Our coordinator, Tammy, was INCREDIBLE -- she knows the industry inside and out and made our wedding day completely seamless and stress-free. Walker's Overlook truly provided the venue of our dreams and I can't recommend them enough!

Maryland National was the PERFECT venue for our wedding! From the very beginning, Reghan and the whole team were incredible. Reghan went above and beyond to help us plan everything – she was so easy to work with and always had the best recommendations. I loved how easy it was to communicate with her through email. We got married at our church, but had the reception at Maryland National. They even let us use the club to get ready since our church didn't have a space! The girls got ready upstairs, and the guys used the locker rooms, which was amazing for getting-ready photos. Plus, the food was delicious! What we loved most was that we didn't have to set up or clean up anything – Maryland National took care of it all. We didn't even have to take decorations home the night of the wedding! We could pick them up the next day. It was the most perfect day, and we can't thank Reghan and the staff enough. Seriously, if you're looking for an amazing venue, this is it!
