James was able to remove the vocals on a song so that the live singer could use it to sing our first dance song. “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

As a wedding vendor myself I know how important it is to have a DJ that can balance fun and professionalism, but Joey Chang did just that. He was punctual, detail oriented, and our guest couldn’t stop talking about how good he was, both as a musician and as a DJ. I really appreciated the time and effort he took to insure that no details were missed. We booked a lighting package as well and our ceremony space looked even better than I could have imagined. Joey made sure the ceremony audio was perfect. Everyone could hear the whole ceremony which was really important to us. And when he played cello for our processional and recessional, the sound really filled the space and sounded beautiful. During our cocktail hour he played cello and did some beatboxing, we were so impressed and our guests loved it as well, they were talking about how good he was and how they could hardly believe it was live music. After dinner the dance floor was full the whole night. Even months later we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing, how great our playlist was, and how much they liked our DJ. If you want your wedding to be classy, romantic, a total rager, and go off without a hitch, I would highly recommend hiring Cello Joe!”

“Honestly I ended up choosing Sean as my DJ for the wedding because he was the nicest and the most communicative out of everyone I contacted. I thought he did an awesome job at helping me through the process. Sean even was pretty flexible when I kept missing my zoom appointment (sorry about that) and didn't make me feel bad about it. He was great when it came to choosing songs for the big day. He also had the timeline on lock and was able to provide some insight. I love that I chose to include the photobooth because we can go back and look at all the photographs which is great. Every one of my guests loved that and was excited they could get each one afterwards. The printer was super quick too. I didn't even know we would have a personalized print with our wedding date on it which was a nice surprise. The only thing I would have liked would be that when the bride/groom requested a song that it would get played. Instead he asked if the venue was okay with it which I felt like wasn't a concern since I paid for both to be there. That was my only note for future events. Rick Flare Drip never got played and it's a banger. Sean also had another surprise which was Audio he recorded from the ceremony which I thought was a cute touch. Thank you for making our big day a success.”

Troy Barnett, founder of DJ Barnett Entertainment has been entertaining people from coast to coast for over 35 years. In 1988, Troy started playing music for school dances in Northern California at the age of 15, which inspired him to make DJing a career. In 1995, Troy started his first DJ Business "Real Music & Co." in Jacksonville, FL which was huge a success at a very young age. In 2006, Troy left his position as Cruise Director for PBP Cruise Lines and moved back to his hometown in Northern California to be closer to family. “Trecee was our DJ for our outdoor wedding reception, and he was amazing! My husband and I were originally going to just play music from our phone, but I’m glad that we found and hired Trecee instead! With no coordinator and last minute changes before and on the day of our wedding, Trecee remained professional, flexible, and fun as our DJ and MC! He followed our song cue list wonderfully, and helped us remix our first dance songs just how we planned. He made announcements we had set on the schedule as well as additional ones requested. He also made funny comments, which totally added to the vibes. His music choices were just what we were looking for, and even with a request by my family to switch to slower songs, he did it seamlessly; Fun, hyped songs for the younger crowd and romantic songs for the elders. He arrived about 45 minutes before his contract hours started to set up and even gave us (bridal party) warnings and updates on getting behind or on track of schedule! (Which is very helpful as, again, we didn’t have a coordinator.) Overall, he is a great DJ & MC, and my now husband and I would highly recommend his services! I will post more pictures once available.”
