“We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our 100 person wedding at The Corinthian Yacht Club of Philadelphia. From our first conversation, the team was easy to work with, responsive, and truly professional throughout the entire planning process. They handled all the setup details and stayed attentive to our needs on the day of the wedding, which let us focus on celebrating with our loved ones. We used the outdoor tents for dancing and moved inside for dinner, and the whole experience felt like a destination wedding rather than a typical Delaware County event. The space is genuinely quaint and elegant, with a timeless beauty that made our day feel special. We'd absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a sophisticated venue with a team that actually cares.”

“2 years ago, when Jim and I decided to get married… the only thing we were sure of was, that it needed to be a celebration. It needed to be a time of recognition of friends and family and some difficult time we had come through….so the perfect venue, needed to be…. A castle! Finding a castle in Delco, proved to be harder than we expected…..But after we did a little research we decided on The Old Mill. We are so very happy we did…. It might not be a castle, but it is a fairy tale…. Our wedding was so much more magical than it being in any castle. From the moment we met the staff, everyone was so nice….the setting is beautiful and warm and welcoming. It was everything we wanted and so much more. And the food…. 3 weeks after the wedding and all our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was! I would recommend The Old Mill…. For any event… don’t just take my word for it… go and check it out.”

“The Drexelbrook did an excellent job hosting our baby shower. Their buffet and dessert bar options were delicious and plentiful. They took good care of our guests who needed vegan, gluten-free options or a kid's meal. One of the highlights of our celebration was a "make your own bouquet" bar for guests. It was an option that Drexelbrook suggested, based on our shower theme. They worked with us to ensure that we could decorate and arrange the space to meet the needs of our event. There is plenty of free parking on site.”

“We had our wedding 10/03/26 here and from the moment we arrived, the entire day was absolutely amazing. I was honestly very nervous that morning, as I think any bride probably is, but those nerves immediately started to disappear when we arrived and were welcomed so warmly by your staff. Everyone was so kind, patient, accommodating, and willing to answer every question we had. You made my family and me feel so taken care of from beginning to end, and that meant more to me than I can put into words. The entire day felt so seamless. The timing of everything was perfect, and there was never a moment where our guests seemed confused about what was happening or where they needed to be. Everything flowed so naturally, which allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about the details. And I have to mention the food — our guests could not stop talking about how amazing everything was! We genuinely did not receive a single complaint. Every person we spoke to had nothing but wonderful things to say about the food, the staff, the service, and the entire experience. Looking back on the day, I truly could not have asked for anything more. It was everything I dreamed our wedding day would be and more, and I know that so much of that was because of the incredible people who worked so hard behind the scenes to make it happen. A thousand thank yous to everyone who played a part in making our day so perfect. We are so incredibly grateful that we found your venue and chose to celebrate such an important day there. You made us feel so welcomed and cared for, and we will always remember that. We 100% recommend this venue to anyone getting married or having an event!!Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for everything! You truly helped make the beginning of our marriage one of the most beautiful and unforgettable days of our lives -The Fernicolas”

“When I set out to plan our wedding, there were two things my husband and I knew we absolutely needed: a venue that had “character” all on its own, and food that was “top-notch” while still being allergy-friendly. So, I logged onto Facebook and started joining every bridal group I could find. I was looking for something VERY SPECIFIC, a gem, a place that had everything I was envisioning. Honestly, I didn’t think it existed. And then came The Ivy at Ellis Preserve by Finley Catering. What I thought didn’t exist suddenly became a reality. My husband and I visited The Ivy just one month after it opened, and we instantly fell in love. That was it. The search was over. Just as quickly as we fell in love with each other, we fell in love with the venue. From start to finish, Meg was responsive, caring, attentive, and professional. She understood that my husband and I have serious food allergies and never made us feel like our needs were an inconvenience or an afterthought. Meg, our event coordinator, and her husband, Mike, our maître d, went above and beyond to make our wedding day incredibly special. Most people say their wedding day “flashed before their eyes,” but for me, that was never the case. Every moment felt like my husband and I were spinning together inside a snow globe, dancing while the entire world settled around us. And I truly believe that feeling was possible because of how well the entire team took care of us. The staff were INCREDIBLE. Every single person we encountered was kind, helpful, attentive, and professional. It’s been just shy of three weeks since our wedding, and our guests are STILL raving about the cocktail hour and dinner. MANY of them have told us it was, by far, the best cocktail hour they have ever experienced. And the best part? We didn’t even select any of the food upgrades! But what meant the most to my husband and me was that we didn’t just have to hear about how amazing the food was from our guests; we got to experience it ourselves. Meg and Mike took our allergies seriously and went above and beyond to make modifications so we could safely enjoy our wedding meal alongside everyone else. They made us feel like our allergies didn’t make us “different.” We were able to sit down, eat, celebrate, and enjoy our reception just like every other couple. That meant EVERYTHING to us. I cannot stop raving about Finley Catering and their newest venue, The Ivy at Ellis Preserve and clearly, neither can our guests! Throughout the entire planning process, I talked endlessly about how beautiful the venue is. It is SO elegant and beautiful on its own that it truly doesn’t need much. In fact, I DIY’d about 95% of my wedding, and I would tell every future couple the same thing: you don’t have to go all out. Keep it simple. Let the architecture, character, and elegance of The Ivy speak for you. The “bones” of this venue are absolutely beautiful, and they create the perfect canvas for whatever vision you have. Meg and Mike, thank you SOOOOO much for everything you did for us. Thank you for listening, caring, accommodating, anticipating our needs, and making us feel so incredibly special from the moment we walked through The Ivy’s doors to the moment our wedding day ended. We will forever be grateful that we found our “gem” and that we got to celebrate the beginning of our marriage there. ️ The Ivy at Ellis Preserve will always hold such a special place in our hearts.”

We are owners of a party band that perform at reception venues all over the tri-state area and we chose AMH because we wanted to marry on stage in a fun, relaxed, and unique environment. The staff could not have been more service-oriented from preplanning meetings up to and including servicing the guests. We have many compliments for the manager Sara for allowing us to decorate as we wanted, making "themed cocktail drinks", coordinating the rest of the very friendly staff and for going above and beyond etc.. We had many bands play throughout the evening and all of the musicians were impressed with the sound crew at AMH, they were absolutely perfectionists with the sound and lighting! Most compliments that we received were that it was such a warm, cool vibe, filled with love throughout the event....exactly what we hoped for. "”

“I was so excited when I found this venue and the experience did not disappoint. I definitely underestimated the time and stress involved in planning a wedding, but Peachtree Catering makes it so easy. You met our designated Peachtree coordinator at our menu tasting and that kicked off all the detail start work: food and drink options, color schemes, linens, etc. and they will work directly with your additional vendors (DJ, florist, etc.). Everything is really organized and easy, from digital look books, to table setting mock-ups, all of the little details were already thought of, we just needed to make selections based on our personal style. I can't emphasize enough how awesome the staff is - the day went perfectly, the food was fantastic, the table settings and service were perfect, I can't think of any detail that was overlooked! Our day of rockstars were Ashley and George who made sure we were fed, got to taste every appetizer, and I don't think there was an empty water or wine glass all night!”

“Stunning venue - the display garden is truly a one in a million place to get married. We initially planned to have our cocktail hour outdoors as we wanted to highlight the reflecting pool but unfortunately the weather didn’t permit - we had cocktail hour inside and it was still incredible. The whole team there was impressive and the food was truly delicious. My standards for wedding food are pretty low but it was excellent, and many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had (and they’d eat it again if they could). The whole team was lovely to work with. So, so glad we got married here!!”

This beautiful New Beaux-Arts style building, constructed in 1908 and designed by Cope and Stewardson, has the unique distinction of being home to the oldest medical society in the country (founded in 1787) and the renowned Mütter Museum. As guests walk inside, they are surrounded by grandeur and elegance, and greeted by Aesculapius – the Greek god of medicine. The magnificent columned Marble Rotunda, with its view of a classic grand staircase, sets the stage for any occasion. With its historic ambience and stately architecture, it’s no wonder that the College – located in Philadelphia’s charming Rittenhouse-Fitler Historic District – has been the chosen setting for a diverse range of memorable events.

“This place is really the spot for a once in a lifetime dark romantic wedding. First of all, the venue really speaks for itself. The spaces, from the garden to the ballrooms are so beautiful, it doesn't really require a lot of dressing up. Also, when you go with the College of Physicians, you get a full buyout. The whole place is yours, including museum access, which was super important to us. The in house caterer, Catering By Design also makes the whole process a turn key solution. They have the tables, linens, silverware, plates, and a super team. No need to source everything from a million vendors. Despite the fact that they are the exclusive caterer, CBD does not take your experience for granted. They put a ton of care into bringing your vision to life, the food is truly superb, and was a consistent hit with our friends and family. A few things we feel should mention. The museum does have some form of plans for renovations and expansion. We recommend checking with the current status of their plans before committing 100%. We also found that those plans can shift slightly, and for us it was beneficial to be flexible on things like the grooms suite and our first look location. With that being said, we would absolutely have our wedding here again. The rates were extremely reasonable for what you get, and for us it was so unique and memorable. We want to give a special shout out to our contact at CBD Ginger, and Carolyn who handled florals. Thank you guys for making our wedding the best night of our lives.”

“We held our September 2025 wedding reception at The Rittenhouse. The food was excellent, the space looked beautiful, and the service on the wedding day was wonderful. Our dedicated server was spectacular both during our tasting and at the reception—attentive, warm, and one of the true standouts of our experience. The planning process was more challenging. Even after Jarret and I specifically asked to be included directly in decisions, communication often continued through our planner. This was especially frustrating because our planner was not providing the level of attentiveness promised, making direct communication with the venue even more important. We were also supposed to meet with the pastry team, but that meeting never happened. Although the cake tasted good, its appearance fell short of what we envisioned and felt like an afterthought in the overall design. After the wedding, aside from a congratulatory email that included our paid folios, no one meaningfully followed up to ask about our experience or invite feedback. Given the level of the event and The Rittenhouse’s reputation for luxury hospitality, we found that surprising. Overall, the culinary and banquet teams delivered an excellent reception, and our guests were very well cared for. We are grateful for the beautiful celebration, while believing the communication, pastry-design process, and post-event follow-up could have been much stronger.”

“The Warwick Hotel is an historic Philadelphia landmark that combines both an incredible location right off of Rittenhouse Square and picturesque architecture and design making it an ideal spot of weddings and other events. David Lyons, the Banquet Manager, is the definition of "not all heroes wear capes." Our story is unique in that our original wedding venue flooded three days before our party. In a frenzy, we called every venue we could find. When my wife spoke with David, he was calm and collected, got our information, and promptly looked into hosting our event. When he called us back saying it was possible, we went to see the space. He put together an estimate before we arrived and we signed on the spot after a brief tour. David has tons of experience with weddings and events and his confidence to put on our party in such a short turn around gave us the calm we needed to enjoy our special day. He even matched a lot of the original food options we were offering at our original venue. The landmarks nearby offer a variety of nice backdrops not to mention the space itself for fun photos. The main ballroom is a great size for a large band, great size dance floor, food stations or a sit down meal and a large guest list. As the bride and groom we were also given a complimentary stay in the presidential suite! A much needed rest after the stress and excitement leading up to our event. We had an emergency and David put out the fire and went above and beyond to make our event run smoothly. I can't say thank you enough to David and the staff at the Warwick for saving our wedding party!”

The separate spaces for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing made it really unique and a great experience for all of our guests. While my aunts and uncles needed a break from dancing, they could go into the reading room and relax with a cocktail in hand. The food provided by Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group was INCREDIBLE!!! They offered so much. Between the hanging pretzels and guacamole bar and oysters, to dinner service of delicious choices, to dessert including beignets and cannolis, we were stuffed by the end! And to top it all off we my sister was able to host her after party just downstairs in their speakeasy lounge. I would highly suggest anyone getting married to look at The Racquet Club of Philadelphia for their wedding!”

She meticulously handled the menu and paid special attention to those with food allergies, who later commented that no other restaurant had been so considerate of their dietary needs, especially with such a large group. Sura's fabulous drinks menu set a convivial tone for our gathering. The space we used was elegantly separated by a discreet and pretty curtain, providing privacy for our event. The staff was attentive and took great care of us. Thank you, Kiran and the Sura staff, for helping us celebrate a wonderful evening!”
