My fiancé and I were looking for a rustic wedding venue, not a ballroom, preferably a venue with space to be outside (weather permitting). We visited a few options in the Philly area and fell in love with the John James Audubon Center! The space offers SO many options for an outdoor or indoor ceremony. They host receptions in the pavilion which is open with huge windows and firepits outside! The site is beautiful, and everyone we’ve worked with has been immensely helpful! After officially booking for our October 2024 wedding, we planned to visit with our parents. What was originally intended to be a quick stroll around the grounds turned into an impromptu tour with the venue manage. She answered all of our parents' questions and even brought out photo books of previous weddings for us to flip through together. With the wedding right around the corner now, we could not be more thrilled with our decision and can't wait to be there next month to celebrate our big day!

We chose Philmont for our 11/03/2023 wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the venue and the staff (special shout out to Ariel and Jimmy). We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was, which thrilled me and my husband to hear. Ariel was who I coordinated with for months, and she deserves all the good praise in the world. She was always helpful and responsive, which is key for a bride-to-be who is juggling the plethora of responsibilities and vendors prior to the big day. She was absolutely a key member of the team to ensure everything with smoothly, and had endless patience for my many questions. I would recommend her to anyone. With the recent construction going on outside the venue, my husband and I were filled with trepidation as that was something that started up a few months before our wedding day, but the staff truly went above and beyond to make sure that was nothing but a hiccup on the day. We received so much praise for the venue and the outdoor ceremony space, and our guests stated that everything was beautiful. Jimmy was incredible during our Tasting, and helped us pick the perfect menu for our guests. We chose the plated option (Filet, Tuscan Chicken, and Honey-Soy Salmon), and their Honey-Soy Salmon was a massive hit with myself and the guests who ordered it. We also heard endless compliments for the appetizers and stations serviced during cocktail hour. Jimmy was a huge help to us when it came to picking the perfect menu, and was also an excellent Day-Of coordinator. He made sure everything was running smoothly on the wedding day, and helped our rather large party line up and walk for the ceremony. The staff here are truly what made this experience incredible, and it's thanks to them that we had our perfect day.

Knowlton Mansion was the first and only venue we toured for our wedding and we knew it was perfect as soon as we stepped on the property. All of the staff are kind, knowledgeable, and very organized. They ensured our wedding day was smooth and peaceful. The grounds are beautiful, the mansion is unique and the food is fantastic! Would not choose another place over Knowlton. We want to relive the night! Highly recommend choosing this venue if you live in the Philly area!

We had our wedding at Hotel du Village on March 16th, 2025 and cannot share enough good things about this venue. From start to finish, the HDV team truly made planning our wedding a seamless & stress-free process. You can always tell when the team that works at a venue genuinely enjoys what they do - every single person who was working there the night of our wedding genuinely cared that my husband & I enjoyed each moment and had everything we could possibly need to make the day go smoothly. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking and our guests would not stop gushing about it’s charm. We’re so happy they saw the same beauty in it that we did! The Chateau style reception was perfect for our guests, blocking dinner at the beginning of the reception & letting guests have free reign of the venue for the last two hours of the night for dessert & dancing. Our guests used the fire pit areas for roasting s’mores & smoking cigars all night! The food at our cocktail hour and dinner received rave reviews - specifically the lobster rolls & Marseille stations! The passed hors d’oeuvres were also absolutely fantastic. We loved the Mac & cheese, spring rolls, and lamb chops (to name a few). We also just wanted to call out a few MVPs on the HDV team: Alyssa, our event coordinator, was an incredible resource & always found a way to accommodate our requests. As an interior designer by trade, I was very picky with where florals, accessories and furniture were placed, but she ALWAYS found a way to make it work & never once made me feel like my requests were crazy, even if they were! Irene, our morning bridal attendant, was amazing and took great care of my husband & I the morning of the wedding. She was a vital part in the setup of the venue the morning of the wedding and our vision wouldn’t have come to life with our her guidance. Larry, the hotel manager, is the most kind & patient man we’ve ever met. He made sure all guests staying on the property were comfortable and had everything they needed at the hotel & cottage. He was also involved in so many other aspects of the day, including set up at the venue the morning of our wedding. You can tell he’s a vital part of the team at HDV and we couldn’t imagine the day going as smoothly as it had if he wasn’t there! Agnes, the afternoon/evening bridal attendant, was truly a super-hero. She seemed to be everywhere at once, had anything you could possibly need in her tool belt, and made sure you never had to ask for a single thing - she already had it taken care of! I never had to pick up my own dress train/veil as we moved around the property to take photos, or go to the bar for my own drinks. She had it taken care of before we could even think to make the request! Our wedding day was incredible because of these people & the others on staff at Hotel du Village. Three days have passed and our family & friends are STILL talking about how incredible the venue & HDV team was!

Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803 to 1811 when need arose of a larger meetinghouse in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

Arch Street Meeting House proved to be the ideal spot for our wedding. Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure she understood exactly what we were looking for and how her team could help bring it to fruition. They allowed us to close the grounds to the public so that our guests could mingle and sip champagne outside in the beautiful weather. All of the guests commented on how tangibly historical the venue was and how they loved the simplicity and timelessness of the ceremony space. (Which looks absolutely stunning in the few preview photos we've gotten back.) Because it was so much more affordable, we also decided to hold our rehearsal dinner there and hired a taco truck to act as the caterers. All in all, I can't recommend ASMH or Jenn and the team more highly!!

The Curtis Atrium is a wedding venue unlike any other! The space is huge, right in the heart of the city, and walkable to local hotels and so many historic sites. The room speaks for itself—you need very minimal decor. The high ceilings, stunning floors, and beautiful water fountain make it breathtaking, and the double staircase and balcony create an epic entrance for the reception. Constellation Catering nailed it with the food—our guests couldn’t stop raving about both cocktail hour and dinner, especially the grilled short rib. The staff was also incredible, so pleasant and extremely hardworking. Kumbah, who came on as head of catering during our planning, wasn’t always the most responsive, but she absolutely killed it on the day of the wedding—have trust in her. One tip: make sure to ask for a list of alcohol for the bar or send them exactly what you want ahead of time. Overall, The Curtis Atrium is a dream location for a wedding, and our day was exactly that!

We love the FI, my husband and I both have amazing childhood memories running around their exhibits. As a wedding venue it was even more amazing! Pepper Hall with candlelit mood and florals added was like a soft classic library from a fairytale, our ceremony in that room felt magical. Our guests loved running through the exhibits during our happy hour, the little ones invited were playing in there most of the night. Last but not least our Franklin Hall reception was breathtaking and so much fun! Tara and the FI team made communication and planning a breeze. Tara especially was the greatest reference for any questions or worries we had. She was positive, so responsive, and had solutions and advice for everything! We are so obsessed with our choice of venue and we highly recommend it to any couple looking for a really unique and special venue!

The place felt grand, but they made it feel like our home for our celebration. We booked the Nassau Inn because it was located in Princeton (a family friendly and walkable town in NJ) and offered great packages. We quickly learned that everyone was so kind, helpful, and easy to reach. Jaime and Roger truly guided us through planning our big day. Each decision felt so easy and we trusted them 100%! The food was amazing and beyond our expectations. The bartenders were friendly. Our guests had made so many positive comments! Also, having the cake included was a huge time saver for us, and we enjoyed working with a local bakery who were very accommodating. Choosing the Nassau Inn for our wedding venue was the best decision we made!

The Drexelbrook did an excellent job hosting our baby shower. Their buffet and dessert bar options were delicious and plentiful.They took good care of our guests who needed vegan, gluten-free options or a kid's meal.One of the highlights of our celebration was a "make your own bouquet" bar for guests. It was an option that Drexelbrook suggested, based on our shower theme. They worked with us to ensure that we could decorate and arrange the space to meet the needs of our event. There is plenty of free parking on site.

The communication with Springfield Country Club was prompt and clear throughout the entire wedding planning process! The space was timeless and classy, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. Milton was ready with blankets for the golf cart and always checking in with us in case we needed anything, and Nancy was always delightful and on top of everything that needed to be done. Our best man wasn’t able to attend due to deployment and the co-best man coordinated a video to play during the speech, the process day of was seamless and we are thankful he was able to say some words on our wedding day! This was truly the venue of our dreams! From the moment we had our initial tour, Megan was such a pleasure to work with and helped make our wedding dreams a reality. She always quickly responded to any questions we had throughout the process and frequently checked in with us during our many months of planning to ensure we had all of our bases covered. Everyone at the ballroom felt like a good friend the moment you met them -- from the bartenders to our maître d', Savannah, everyone was so friendly and excited to help us celebrate our big day. The Silo was a dream wedding venue! The high ceilings, gorgeous chandeliers, and amazing backlighting led to wonderful pictures. We had several guests comment on how beautiful the venue was. We utilized floating candles for our centerpieces which played amazingly with the added candles provided by the Farmhouse. The staff was attentive, helpful, and communicative. They paid attention to detail and were always available to put our minds at ease. We also rented the bridal suite and groom’s suite. Both suites were spacious, filled with entertainment, and included private bathrooms and mini fridges. There was plenty of space for my hair and makeup team.. We all had a wonderful time getting ready for the wedding. The food and chef were absolutely incredible. We were able to completely customize the menu by adding things like garlic mashed potatoes and chicken francese. What really stood out is that it felt like we were giving our guests a high end restaurant meal, rather than cookie cutter wedding food.

Megan, the director, is an absolutely dream to work with. quick responses, explains everything clearly, a sweetheart. Hotel is super clean, the food is amazing and the staff were lovely. The Maitre De went missing a lot throughout the day, to the point where my uncle had to find her whenever i needed. They set up & cleaned everything up for us which was lovely. the hotel bar stayed open late (sunday wedding) but you couldn’t make it private. so you had people at the bar trying to add to an open tab. you get a room block, the director of rooms Rebecca is very easy to work with as well. the outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous!!! If you’re looking for a wedding venue in northern DE, I would highly recommend Bellevue Hall. We had our wedding here in early April, and it was gorgeous. Though we were a little early for all of the flowers to be blooming, the magnolia tree on the walk-up was in full bloom and we were able to take a lot of our pictures in front of it. There are tons of picture options across the grounds, and the "getting-ready" suite for the girls was the most amazing room out of all the venues we toured. It was a little expensive to extend your time in the morning, but that seems to be more of a state park fee as opposed to a venue fee, and it was worth it. The tent was beautiful for our reception and had a lot of room for dancing- which was great. Overall, a great experience and venue with a lot of choices to customize your wedding to fit you. I would highly recommend it!

He took the time to explain all the packages available and even adjusted his recommendations to match our guest count, and never pushed us toward anything we didn’t need. He also shared helpful budget-friendly tips to make our day even more special and affordable. When we returned a second time for a renovation event, Luis remembered us instantly, greeting us with a big hug and even gave a personal tour, which expressed how much the staff genuinely care about their guests.
