“Elmwood Park Zoo was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration. From our first interaction, the staff was quick, easy, collaborative, and incredibly understanding as we planned our big day. Their gorgeous renovated spaces were the ideal backdrop for our ceremony and reception, especially for us as animal lovers. Becky, our coordinator, was amazing to work with - she answered all of our questions and made sure the day ran smoothly from start to finish. We had a dream come true type of day being able to celebrate with the people (and animals!) we love most, including an unforgettable giraffe feeding experience. We loved the payment plan and the flexibility offered! The entire Elmwood Park Zoo team contributed to making our special day truly magical.”

“We recently had the woodland fairytale wedding of our dreams at Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge and neither us or our guests can stop talking about it. It is a unique venue that requires a lot of creativity to turn it into whatever you want. Ashley and Shannon were extremely helpful during the planning process and helped bring the vision to life. We utilized the firepit and heat lamps to keep our guests comfortable and cozy as the sun went down. We LOVED having a wildlife ambassador to greet our guests, that was a highlight. The reception space was perfect - plenty of space to park food trucks and have picnic tables spread out for dinner. The pavilion gave us the perfect size dance floor. The cost of having your wedding here is a donation to the wildlife hospital and to the animals that live at Cedar Run permanently. That meant so much to us.
