“Dan Moore from DJ Shark Attack was absolutely incredible. From the moment we met him, he exceeded all of our expectations. Not only was he an amazing DJ who kept everyone on the dance floor all night, but he was also one of the most genuine and thoughtful people we’ve ever met. We had a special request for a unique entrance into our reception, and Dan completely nailed it. He went above and beyond to make it exactly how we imagined, and it turned out even better than we hoped. On top of that, we asked if he could include last names during the wedding party introductions—something he doesn’t normally do—and he took the time to learn and pronounce every single name correctly. That level of care and attention meant so much to us. He also made a real effort to connect with all of our guests and made sure everyone was well taken care of throughout the night. While my husband and I were off taking sunset photos, Dan got us plates of food and even kept them warm—something we hadn’t thought about, but he did without hesitation. Dan wasn’t just our DJ—he was a huge part of what made our day so special. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “All of our guests could not stop talking about what an amazing DJ Rachel was! She brought so much personality and fun to our event and helped make it truly special! In addition to keeping the dance floor PACKED for the whole night, Rachel acted as emcee and kept the night moving smoothly with announcements, reminders, and helpful information. She is extremely professional and helped us smooth out the details of the flow of the evening during our planning meeting a few weeks before. She thought of so many details we hadn't considered and came to us with a ton of great ideas! We especially loved an idea she gave us for getting photos with every table in a fun and quick way after dinner to keep the party moving! Spectrum Band was the most affordable band with HIGH quality performance. 2 years later and people still comment on how much energy the band brought to our reception! I was a very particular bride when it came to our music, and they followed my suggestions to a “T” AND they even learned our first dance song so we could dance to it live and not have a recorded version. “Megan and Logan were great to work with in the early stages, and then Ali & Drake took over about a month before! They all were fantastic to work with and I could definitely tell that Ali & Drake were the best match for my wedding. I wasn't sure what to think about booking a company that matches a DJ to your wedding after booking, but they really did take the time to find what music style I liked and which DJ was going to vibe the best.
