1840s Plaza is an elegant Baltimore event venue with several spaces available for events of any kind, including the Ballroom, City Lites and Cabaret. Located in the historic Jonestown neighborhood, 1840s is just steps away from the Inner Harbor, Restaurant Row at Harbor East, and Little Italy. 1840s Plaza is a hidden gem in the middle of a busy city with devoted staff ready to go above and beyond to ensure a flawless event from beginning to end. The iconic red cast iron façade was one of twelve that survived the great Baltimore fire in 1904 and was restored for the opening of the Baltimore City Life Museum. Rich in history and culture, this venue gives guests a glimpse of Baltimore’s distinct history combined with today’s modern luxuries.

The Patterson Mansion, once owned by socialite Eleanor Josephine Medill “Cissy” Patterson, has been the venue of choice for Washington’s elite for over a century. Its halls have hosted presidents and pioneers, from President Calvin Coolidge to aviator Charles Lindbergh. Located directly on DC’s iconic Dupont Circle and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Patterson Mansion is the premier venue for intimate to grand events.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, our meeting house was constructed in 1930 during the administration of the Quaker president, Herbert Hoover. It was built to serve as a house of worship and a gathering place for those wanting to “seek peace and pursue it.” The building was enlarged in 1950. In 1970, we acquired the red brick Quaker House, Carriage House and garden at 2121 Decatur Place NW. Built in the 1920s and also on the National Register, these buildings today house a number of nonprofit organizations and small businesses as well as additional event spaces. With multiple interior spaces and gardens, we can accommodate events of various sizes and layouts, from 2 to 300. We host individuals, non-profit organizations, and for-profit entities. Our event rental prices are affordable, with discounts offered to non-profit organizations in alignment with our values. Monroe Bay Vineyard is located on the water near Colonial Beach on the original birthplace Farm of our 5th President James Monroe. We have secluded and tranquil waterfront land to plan your perfect day. We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. The inside is a museum quality white lime finish with unique curves with sun shining through the patterned wine bottle walls to give a unique backdrop.

Historic Waverly Mansion is located in Marriottsville, Maryland. This 1760's era estate is a the perfect setting of an intimate garden wedding and reception! The Mansion and property is owned and operated by Howard County Government's Recreation and Parks Department and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historic Waverly Mansion is considered an outdoor venue. The property includes beautifully maintained gardens, the historic Mansion, and rustic barn. During our peak rental season, a 60x40ft event tent is included in wedding rentals. Historic Waverly provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator. Historic Waverly Mansion is a Howard County Park. Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply to all scheduled events and are different from privately owned venues. We're a blank slate and host weekend weddings, so estimates given are for Friday - Sunday morning. We also have 15 years experience and know how to help with all the details. Our point is surrounded by miles of water, with sunrise over the Choptank River and sunset over the Chesapeake Bay. We have no neighbors, no cut-off times, and we customize our weddings using our local vendors. We have no hidden fees. We set up meetings with your vendors and you pay them directly.
