We love adventures and I love a delicious plate of nachos… snickers and a fizzy water I AM SURE YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY I DO WHAT I DO AND HOW I DO IT… I have always had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember… I mean even one of my daughter is named after a camera and the other is named after light.. I bet you can’t guess what their names are. I absolutely love being there to capture all moments in life… especially weddings.

My name is Jana Blue and I've been photographing weddings for 10 years. I'm consistent not in a trend of photos or style, but emotions. Each wedding and couples are so unique and my work follows that. In my career I've photographed both big production weddings and also intimate DIY ones. I've photographed informal engagements and elopements/weddings in a desert in Chile, in the mountains of Zion, in a beach in Croatia, in an ancient church in Greece and in forests in Brazil. I work with all different budgets and needs from my brides. I'm a preferred vendor of Chicago First Lady Boat, so I do weddings on the boat during the summer.

I have been a wedding photographer for over 6 years now, but I'm still excited about every wedding I shoot. Every day is different, and I love the excitement and the genuine relationships that I get to capture between the couple, their parents, their siblings, and their best friends. For as long as I can remember I have always been around a camera. Growing up, my Mom was a big documenter of life freezing childhood moments in prints and recording videos. For my ninth birthday I received my first camera. GAME CHANGER. Boy was it fun to step on the other side of the camera. I was unstoppable, never letting my camera leave my side. From then on I cannot remember I time I hadn't owned a camera... or two... or three! Giving other the gift of memories is what brings me the most joy in life. To know that they will have moments they loved shared and reminisced for generations to come. That is everything.
