After spending 30 years in Texas we have relocated to central Pennsylvania to begin working with family on the next chapter of Luongo Barbecue. Cooking has always been in my blood. My parents came to the U.S. from Sicily when I was a child. My dad owned restaurants/pizza shops for years, and my mom is an amazing home cook. I grew up surrounded by great food, learning and falling in love with it. I knew I wanted to work in food but wanted more than pizza shops. I attended Le Cordon Bleu in Pittsburgh, completing a 1-yr intensive French culinary program. I worked at a 5-star resort (Nemacolin), Hershey Hotel, Bricco (Upscale Mediterranean), The Left Bank, and Country Club of York. I have 15 years of experience in both banquet and à la carté service.
