We hired Michelle Knutson for our November 2025 Palm Springs wedding and truly could not be happier with our experience. We had a fairly small event, so we went with the day-of-coordinator package. Michelle truly went above and beyond just the day-of coordinating. She coordinated a couple intros zooms, got in touch with our venue and all of our vendors beforehand and brought us solutions when we realized we were going to be rained on. The day of she was a straight shooter - direct and ran a tight ship. But she was also warm, friendly and upbeat. Her assistant even took care of my dog for me and made sure he was fed and walked! We are forever grateful to her and her team for making our day so special. 10/10 recommend!

We were late to hiring a wedding planner until about two months out, when I realized I needed some help. Crimson Quarter weddings and events were the first to get back to me quickly , and set up a phone call, where I realized they were gonna be the ones for me. Not only were they extremely communicative, but they took everything that I had for them and and helped us to add a little bit "ourselves" Into the venue space. I gave them our florals and decorations and set them loose to do what they wanted and they knocked it out of the park. I am so thankful for Crimson Quarter, they helped us navigate rallying all of our vendors and communicating our needs, as well as setting up for us on the day of, coordinating different parts of our reception, and cleaning up after it was over. We couldn't have done it without them and I would hire them again for any event in the future if we happen to find ourselves back in New Orleans for anything special

Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.

Lesley was with me every step of the way while I planned my perfect wedding. If I ever had a question whether it was 8 months out or 3 weeks out she messaged me right away to resolve my worries and any questions. Michelle was very communicative through out the whole process of wedding planning. She was great with sharing ideas and helping me to find my style for my wedding. She was great with collaborating the wedding decor ideas with my vision and making it come to life. She is always putting in the time, energy and effort for all her clients. I admire the hard work and dediction she gives to her clients, because she is truly commited. She lives for her clients and puts them first. My work is rooted in culture, connection, and crafting a day that feels like home from the first look to the final goodbye. I’m based in Austin and happily travel wherever love calls me. Weddings within sixty miles follow standard rates; outside that range, travel fees apply. Out of state weddings may require flights, but the heart I bring travels well.
