The Japanese Garden is a beautiful, intimate, hidden gem on the campus of Cal State Long Beach. It was a lovely backdrop drop to our wedding day. Omar was easy to communicate with and was always prompt in getting back to us with answers to our questions and helped us with any concerns we had. He and his staff helped make our blessed day better than we could have ever imagined. The Grand catering was fantastic and many of our guest continue to comment on how delicious the food was. We highly recommend this majestic place for your special event.

My family selected Jamaica Bay Inn because it was next to a small beach cove accessible from the Bermuda banquet room. We gathered for a Celebration of Life event and wanted to fly kites in memory of our beloved that passed away. Sayyora the Catering Manager was extremely efficient and flexible with the menu and my special request. Christina and the banquest staff were amazing. Christina had to leave the room to answer another clients questions and made sure another banquet person was in the room until she returned. The food was hot and plentiful. We selected the Buffet Pasta Station (1 with chicken and 1 with shrimp), baby greens salad, delicious fresh fruit. Accomodations were made for my request for a gluten free menu. I was in the hospitality business for 19 years for major hotels as a Catering Manger and Covention Services Manager and my critical eye can be hard to please. But I must say that the attention to detail was above and beyond. I would recommend Jamacia Bay at every opportunity. My family wants to return for a family reunion or just a family luncheon. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Staff was excellent day of. Food was wonderful guests said. Venue was beautiful for photos and weather behaved in January so we got to watch the sunset. Everything was amazing w Portofino. Price was excellent for what we got and in SoCal on the water venue “boutique hotel.” My only critique is doing room blocks and anything to do with their computer system accounting takes a second and is a little out dated takes two days or so- but I like to get things done or get emails asap so that’s just me. Other than that wonderful place will be going back to stay at hotel! Amazing reception! Exactly what we were looking for! Rain is also exceptionally friendly, patient and communicative so ask for him !

I loved working with Robin at the Sonesta Hotel. She was an excellent event manager who cared for all our needs and was very accommodating. I had one problem that had nothing to do with Robin or the Sonesta: Someone on the wedding coordinator's staff stole my wallet during the event. We hired Koral, the wedding coordinator, which was our responsibility. Overall, it was a beautiful venue with excellent hotel staff. I would recommend the Sonesta 100%.

We had our daughters wedding reception at the Jonathan Beach Club in their new Penthouse space and it was spectacular. Every aspect of the event was exactly what we'd hoped. The Jonathan Club Wedding Event Coordinator, Christie DeMoss was delightful to work with and had fabulous suggestions. The food tasting was lovely and we felt so special and excited about what our guests would be feasting on! The food was truly elevated and absolutely delicious. The space and the setup were perfect with an outdoor balcony cocktail area and bar, a large lobby for the guestbook, photobooth and activity and then the gorgeous reception space with dance floor. The staff were amazing and so friendly and attentive! I would highly recommend the JBC!

If what you are seeking is a truly magical venue, look no further than the Velaslavasay Panorama. My wife and I did not want to have the typical hotel conference hall wedding. We wanted to show our family from outside of LA a place that was meaningful to us and at the same time still impress our friends from LA. The Panorama is genuinely extraordinary, with several different areas that can be arranged to suit your celebration. Our guest list was about 70 people and it was the perfect size. We opted to have our main ceremony in the historic theatre, our cocktail reception with our bartender in the lush garden, our musician play in the gazebo, and our dinner in the large area outside the moon gate. This made it easy for pick ups and drop offs with our catering and table / chair / bar rental. Sara and Ruby from the Panorama were absolutely lovely to deal with and helped considerably with logistics before, during, and after the event. Our photographer loved all of the different backdrops possible and everyone kept mentioning how wonderful the venue was. Check it out, I'm sure you will be absolutely stunned by the Panorama.

We got married at BABC on New Year's Eve 2024 - a week before the fires in the Pacific Palisades. Although I'm not sure what 2025 looks like for Bel-Air, I still wanted to share my wonderful experience working with the team at BABC. From the first interaction with Jenny and the on-site tour and working with Liz for almost a year in planning and then the day-of team of Ben and Madison, everything was 15/10. Every detail was addressed and taken care of. I was able to personalize each aspect and our wedding day was planned down to the (literal) 5-minute. We had countless calls and video meetings planning in the months and weeks leading to the big day and Liz could not be more patient in working with me and changing previously made decisions. Part of my thank you note to the BABC team: "It was truly perfect!! I keep saying “I wish I was a guest at my own wedding!” so we truly could’ve experienced every detail. We’ve gotten so many comments from our friends and families that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. You and the entire BABC staff went above and beyond. The service was incredible, every tiny detail was noticed and taken care of, and the whole day was so smooth. Kyle and I had zero nerves all day and I didn’t look at a clock once if you can believe it! That brings me to Ben and Madison - wow! What a fantastic team they make. I hope they know how much we appreciated them (and Vivienne!) in bringing the day to life and handling anything that came up so we could just enjoy the day. I will miss working with you but am so excited to have these perfect wedding memories and the best experience to look back on." If you have the chance to get married at Bel-Air Bay Club - DO IT! Carondelet House was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was great and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They guided us through the entire process, answering all of our questions and making sure our needs were met. The food was absolutely amazing - our guests raved about the venue and food all night and days after. Everything went exactly as planned, and the space itself was so beautiful, giving us the old Hollywood feel we had always dreamed of. It was truly the best day, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. We highly recommend Carondelet House to any couple looking for an amazing and unique wedding experience.

We recognize that everyone has different visions of their big day, which is why we are one of the few venues that allows you to bring in all of your own vendors. While we have an excellent in-house caterer, their services are an option, not a requirement. Even the crystals that cascade from the chandeliers are removable, so that we may transition from rustic to glamorous in the span of a couple of hours. The complete freedom to make your vision a reality is what makes us unique.

The Majestic was a DREAM to work with, we also used Ashton as our coordinator and she was a GOD SEND. Our guests still talk about our wedding and how smoothly everything went, and that was hands down thanks to Ashton and her team. They were all super easy to work with, very communicative, overall an amazing experience!

The venue was just incredible. We picked it because of the historical background as well as the fact that we knew we wouldn't need to add much to make it beautiful. Lindsey and Gabe put us at ease and helped us through each step of the process. I loved how Lindsey worked with our vendors to ensure everything went according to plan on the day of. I’m loving all of the texts from guests letting us know what a beautiful and unique venue we had. From the historic charm of the building to the LA skyline changing from day to night, there's nothing else like it. I could not recommend this venue more!

We had the wedding of our literal dreams — an all day affair that took place in both Valentine and Grass Room.

 Dana (Event Director) deserves every award there is in the wedding/event category. We opted out of a wedding planner because we were pretty confident in putting it together ourselves but of course there was A LOT to figure out and hurdles faced along the way. But thanks to Dana and Marvimon’s phenomenal team, the end result was truly magical. Between the organization, attention to detail, genuine care, and the list of unbelievable, pre-approved vendors (including a BIPOC, women-owned, and queer specific list which is where we primarily sourced everything) we didn’t realize that we not only got the venue of our dreams but the support it came with was extremely valuable. Not to mention the beautiful furniture, foliage and overall interior aesthetic that was there which removed any need for renting additional pieces. Weddings are exciting but everyone who has planned or is in the middle of planning one knows they are massively stressful. That said, the Marvimon team (ESPECIALLY DANA) didn’t have us worried at all. They were one of the biggest reasons we were at ease and confident things were going to run smoothly which I’m happy to report they did with flying rainbow colors! 100/10 CANNOT recommend enough!

Flora Chang is definitely the best place to use as a venue for any type of small party (whether it be wedding, rehearsal dinner, birthday, bridal shower, etc.)! We cannot thank Flora Chang (and the whole team at Marvimon) for going above and beyond in making sure our Rehearsal Dinner was everything we dreamed it would be! Here is a quick breakdown of how it all went down: While planning our wedding for Valentine DTLA (another one of their amazing venues that we HIGHLY recommend), we were on the hunt for the perfect (not too pricey) venue. We had trouble because all of our favorite restaurants were like renting out another wedding venue. That's when Dana and her team let us know about Flora Chang and let us tour the space! We were totally in awe with it's colorful and funky vibes! It's layout was super fun because it has a pool table and bar as soon as you walk in (which made you feel like you were entering a secret speakeasy). Then there's a section of dining tables where your guests can have a nice intimate dinner! Past that was a HUGE couch where people could relax after they stuffed their faces with some tasty food! Finally, there's a section in the back of the venue where you can plug music in to play off of the speakers and has a bunch of large, beautiful plants (it's also a GREAT section to rehearse for your ceremony if you are using it for a rehearsal dinner)! We knew this was going t "WOW" our out of town family members and give them an experience they could only have in LA! After signing the contract, it was up to us to find vendors, but we used a lot of the ones that Marvimon recommended to us and we couldn't have been happier! And if you would like to bring in a vendor they haven't used before, they are totally open to it (which we did with our caterer who CRUSHED IT... THANK YOU DE LA NONNA!) The day of our rehearsal dinner couldn't have gone better! Everything was laid out exactly how we asked and the site representative was there incase we had any questions about the space! Even our guests were in complete awe of the venue and had a blast as well! We cannot thank Flora Chang and Marvimon enough for letting us use this venue! Now quit reading this review and go book it!

Dana, Clare, and Anika have been amazing from start to finish. When touring at venues to see which one we wanted to have our wedding at, Millwick hands down felt like home that even other Marvimon venues did not compare to this one which gave my husband and I the instant feeling. The price is solid for the amount of space and venue offering that you get. The fact that it comes with tables and chairs and a lot of furniture, a onsite kitchen, Site Managers, the best support you can get, some in house DJ offerings, and a bunch of other stuff. The Marvimon staff is top notch. They jump straight into helping you in any way they can and they do the most stellar job. We loved that they were so down to earth, understanding, and patient with us. They made us feel right at home. The great thing about Millwick is you do not need to dress up the venue much with all the greenery, its the perfect vibe you need for an intimate wedding celebration, it was definitely vibes for sure! There are so many amazing features about Millwick that I can go on and on but one thing that is a must is if you book Millwick you can hot iron brand press and mark your memory at the outdoor bar and it will be there forever! We did that during our design meeting with Clare and our wedding coordinator and it was so much fun, that on our wedding day our guests got to see it when they were waiting for their drinks, even our dog took a picture with it! Another unique thing is that they have a magnet wall for the seating chart and we used that to make polarid magnets of all our guests which was a huge hit! You can customize the image you want displayed on the projector or play videos, photos, etc. as well! Millwick allows your vision and creativity to come to life and the sky is the limit. Whatever you are envisioning, share it with Clare, Dana, and your wedding coordinator and they will be there to support you every step of the way and give you great tips! Their preferred vendors are seriously the best ever!! Majority of mine were from their list and they really made my wedding exceed all of my expectations, my husband and I both had one of the best night of our life because of Millwick, the Marvimon team, and all our amazing vendors who made our vision come to life to a whole another level of perfection!! Thank you Millwick!! We can't wait to visit you again!

We've lived and worked in Hollywood for a while and when we started looking for our venue, we knew we wanted to have our wedding in Hollywood. We had seen shows at The Fonda, but had no clue you could have an event there. We were over the moon when the thought of having our wedding there became a reality. The Fonda is historic to Hollywood and the inside is so unique and drop dead gorgeous-- it was a total no brainer. Working with their Director, Bailey Lyon, was so easy and seamless that it made our decision that much easier. There are so many cool spaces within and so many possibilities to make your event amazing... even our super traditional parents were all equally blown away with how gorgeous The Fonda is. We got changed and ready in the same dressing rooms as some of our favorite musicians and even got our families on stage for a pictures. I could go on and on about all the wonderful things about The Fonda. At the end of the day, we had the most amazing wedding / the best day & night of our lives with our names on a marquee on Hollywood Boulevard. If you're thinking of booking The Fonda for a special event, you're not going to be disappointed... and neither will your guests!

Everything about this space is so magical. It was the perfect backdrop to the most perfect wedding day. The owner and staff were so wonderful to work with. So professional, kind and accommodating. The Baja-inspired food was beyond delicious — fresh, flavorful, and packed with so much variety. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and it paired perfectly with the MOST amazing cocktails! The drink selection was next-level, with creative, expertly crafted options that elevated the entire event. What really made this experience stand out, though, was the impeccable service. The planning process was seamless, with clear communication every step of the way. The team was incredibly responsive and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. During the event itself, the entire Tacolina team was so hospitable, efficient, friendly, and so professional — it truly felt like everything had been thought of in advance, which made the event stress-free and enjoyable. When we first saw Union Station listed on here, we actually thought it was a scam post but as it turns out - YES you can actually get married in Union Station, with several different venue options costing varying amounts. We chose the Fred Harvey room for our wedding, which was easily the most complimented part of our day. It's such an amazing, historic space, and all the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Now the cons: there are a few required inclusions (security team, valet service, fire marshal checks) that you have to acquire through them - and those costs add up quickly from the price of the actual space rental. The valet company in particular was an insanely high initial quote, but fortunately they did negotiate a drop. Because it's not a dedicated wedding venue, they also don't provide any guidance with vendors (which means you bring everything in yourself), and because it's a protected space, there are a lot of regulations on what can and can't be done (as of Summer 2025, you basically can't use the kitchen for any actual cooking). Even with the drawbacks, we'd probably still do it all over again. It was an exceptionally cool, beautiful experience, and it turned out some AMAZING photos, just make sure you ask a lot of questions up front!

The Inn of the Seventh Ray was a stunning and gorgeous venue. We were looking for something outdoorsy (without being in the forest), romantic (gorgeous twinkle lights everywhere), and flexible (they accommodated every need from layout to late night snack). Every concern I worried about, turned out to be nothing at all, making it the greatest venue. If you like what you see, it is 10,000% worth it to work with Holly. Holly, the coordinator, knows what she is doing and what works best for guests. She listened to my wild ideas and hopes, and made them work seamlessly. People said, "something will inevitably go wrong on your wedding day." Nothing went wrong, and we credit Holly for that. As the brides, we never felt rushed, or overwhelmed. We were so taken care of. She was so organized and made sure we were having a great time by checking in throughout the night. Concerns I had about the venue: 1) nature (the ground would be uneven for my grandparents). They were fine. 2) Not enough bathrooms (no body cared, we danced in line) 3). It seems small. Yes, it is intimate but honestly, it was the perfect size, no body was wandering or lost, the space felt filled which made it more fun and you didn't miss a detail. 4). No hard alcohol mixed drinks. This worried me because I don't love beer and wine, but it was best because no one got crazy, obnoxious, or over intoxicated. 5) It stayed open to the public so other people would be there. AND IT WAS AWESOME! Everyone complimented us and it made us feel even more special to be recognized. I love that it is a restaurant so we can return on our anniversary for years to follow. It will always get to be a special place in our hearts.

My husband and I knew we wanted to get married but did not want to plan the actual wedding…and we are so lucky that we found the company Wedgewood. With so many venues to choose from, we got married at The Sanctuary in Long Beach and when I say our wedding was stunning, I mean it. We will cherish the day forever. Wedgewood made the entire process so incredibly easy, it almost felt too good to be true. But it was true! All we had to do was make the final decisions and our team took care of the rest of it. We showed up, got married, had an amazing party with amazing food and drinks and had the time of our lives. Not only did we love our wedding, our guests loved it as well. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our decor was and how smoothly everything went. As a bride, I was so nervous about our timeline going the way it was supposed to, but our wedding coordinator, Fumi made sure everything was on track. Fumi made our day so much better and my bridal party loved her. She made me believe that the most important thing was that I married my husband. I highly recommend Wedgewood Weddings.
