We are Carli & Hamilton Dixon, artists and business owners in downtown Dayton for nearly a decade, and residents of downtown for over two decades. The Brightside is located in the 905 E. Third Street building, which was 18,000 sq. ft. filled with abandoned clothes and trash when we purchased it. But over the last 10 years, we have worked to clean it out, restore all of its services, and renovate it to become Dayton's newest music & event venue. It has been a long and difficult road, so we are thrilled to be at this point in the story. We invite you to stop in and introduce yourself soon; we truly look forward to welcoming you!

Enjoy your wedding day on our five acre historic venue, located 3 miles west of Tipp City. Our historic barn is conveniently located off of I-75. For 30 years, The Willow Tree, Miami County's original rustic barn venue has hosted weddings and receptions. Set on the grounds of an 1830 style home, the century old barn is the perfect setting to celebrate your day with friends and family. We offer tables and seating for up to 200 guest, 14 hours of venue time, and a brides room in the home with a private restroom for the bridal party.

The Honey Farm is a peaceful, private wedding venue located in Lebanon, Ohio. Set on a working farm, the property feels tucked away while still being close to hotels and modern amenities. Couples may choose from multiple ceremony locations, including an open field ceremony with a doorway entrance, a gazebo ceremony site, or a scenic pond-side location. The venue features an authentic antique barn, a silo bar, and outdoor spaces with yard games. The WACO Aircraft Company was the largest manufacturer of civil aircraft in the 1920's and 30's. We also designed and built the CG4A Glider used in WW II. We have 10 aircraft and memorabilia on display. Depending on the time of year, you could also schedule an open cockpit biplane ride!

Karrikin Spirits Company is a Cincinnati based craft distillery and event space in Fairfax, committed to exploring our love of flavors with the community. By definition, karrikins are the elements found in the smoke from a forest fire that trigger the regeneration of that forest. In the centuries since Whiskey Hollow was settled, those karrikins have been at work to bring distilling back to this very location on Cincinnati’s east side. In Spring of 2017, seven founding members with experience in brewing & distilling, woodworking, design, and more came together to purchase a building formerly occupied by Swallen’s and later, DnD Metal to start a journey of flavor and fire. From there, Karrikin Spirits Company was formed — a full-service, grain to glass distillery producing handcrafted spirits, sparkling spirits, non-alcoholic sodas, and beer.
