I knew I wanted good photos but I had no idea they would be THIS good. Every time I look at them I notice something new, like a hidden laugh or a sweet hug I missed in the moment. My favorite shot is my husband brushing a tear from my cheek, I didn’t even know they caught that. The colors are rich but not overdone, just natural and beautiful. The video is absolutely stunning too, it’s like reliving the entire day from start to finish. My mom cried watching it and said it felt like she was back at the wedding. They even got the little kids running around, which makes it extra special. The speeches, the vows, the dancing – all of it is there. I didn’t feel staged once, just comfortable and happy. That’s rare for me because I usually hate photos. These are treasures that I’ll hold on to forever. Worth every second of working with them.

Alba Lumos Photography
Rating: 5.0 (24 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,600
  • Serves East Waterboro, ME

I'd say my photography style would be something along the lines of "lifestyle photography". [That means that posing you in silly ways that seem fake / awkward isn't really my jam.] I mean, unless that gets some snuggles & laughs. I'm ALLLL about that. I like to capture REAL life with REAL emotions and REAL smiles. Your session should be relaxed and fun. [All while I get some kick-ass photos!] I will most likely make a giant fool of myself at your session, so you'll feel like a professional. I sing, trip, laugh, make noises, mention inappropriate things, show my nerdiness. AKA YOU'RE GOING TO DO JUST FINE.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the moment we reached out to april and Jordan/ Alba Lumos Photography, their communication was fast, witty, and amazing. Their photographers have an incredible eye for detail, capturing our special day in a beautiful, ethereal, and timeless way. They helped me feel relaxed and took care of everything, allowing us to truly be present and soak in all the joy and love. We are thrilled with the stunning photos that will allow us to relive our wedding day for years to come. Alba Lumos Photography exceeded our expectations in every way, and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for an exceptional photography experience.

Felisha Lees Photography
Rating: 5.0 (21 reviews)
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $8,000
  • Serves East Waterboro, ME

I’m Felisha, an Award Winning - Published New England Wedding + Portrait photographer with the honor of capturing love stories and cherished moments across New England since 2013. Photography isn’t just my career—it’s the way I connect with people, turning clients into dear friends and fleeting moments into timeless memories. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me soaking up life with my high school sweetheart, our beautiful daughter, and our two chocolate Labradors. My heart beats for real, authentic moments—the kind where love and laughter come effortlessly.

Awarded Best of Zola
Our goal for wedding photos was to be transported back to our wedding day - more of a storytelling style than formal portraits. Felisha totally nailed it, and somehow managed to capture some extra magic in there too. Leading up to the wedding, Felisha was great at helping us feel comfortable with her, and we’re usually camera shy! We felt like we made a new friend! We weren’t planning to do a “first look”, but after how much we loved our engagement photos we decided to add that element to our wedding day as an excuse to get more time with Felisha and have some more Amazing portraits. During the wedding, Felisha and her second shooter were totally professional and unobtrusive - we didn’t notice them doing their thing, and neither did our guests. She was fun to work with, super on top of everything, and the results speak for themselves. We’re already dreaming up other life events that we might want to have professionally photographed, as an excuse to work with her again!

Julie K. Gray Photography
Rating: 5.0 (19 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,750
  • Serves East Waterboro, ME

Hi, I’m Julie! I’ve been photographing weddings for about ten years now (holy cow, do I feel old!), starting with photographing friends' weddings and quickly falling in love with the work. While I adore capturing gorgeous portraits of the bride and groom and the quiet (and sometimes chaotic!), beautiful moments during a wedding/elopement/engagement session, those ridiculous candid moments (like when a stranger offers you a fry on the boardwalk during your bridesmaid photos) truly make your day uniquely yours. I'd absolutely describe my style as a mixture of classic, artistic and photojournalism, but my heart lies in capturing candid moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer than Julie! From start to finish, she was absolutely incredible. She was so responsive and easy to communicate with during the planning process, and on the big day she went above and beyond to make sure we got every shot that mattered to us. Julie seamlessly traveled with us to multiple locations throughout the day, capturing everything beautifully while keeping the energy fun and stress-free. One of the biggest highlights was how quickly she delivered our photos—our full gallery was edited and ready before our honeymoon was even over! The images are stunning, and we’ll cherish them forever. Julie has such an amazing eye for detail and a gift for capturing genuine, natural moments. We are beyond grateful to have had her as our photographer and can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for someone talented, professional, and truly dedicated to making your day unforgettable.

Capture the North
Rating: 4.9 (19 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,950
  • Serves East Waterboro, ME

Capture the North was founded by multi-award-winning, and published photographer Sarah K. Marshall, and her husband, Christopher Marshall. Both are Marine Corps veterans and native New Englanders. Despite traveling across the world while serving in the Marine Corps, there is still something so magical about the New England area for them. Sarah was named Department of Defense Military Photographer of the Year 2020, and Marine Corps Photographer of the Year 2020 + 2021. Her work has been displayed in the National Museum of the Marine Corps and her imagery was the cover art of Leatherneck Magazine.

Awarded Best of Zola
Sarah is an amazing photographer. I looked at probably a dozen other photographers for our wedding, but my fiancé and I were both super impressed with Sarah’s work and affordability. We recently had our engagement photos done and I was an anxious mess since I don’t normally wear make up or have my photos taken. However, I’m OBSESSED with how the photos came out. I feel so pretty looking at them and they truly represent our love and goofy relationship. Cannot wait to see the photos from our wedding next year.

Brett Alison Photography

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,400
  • Serves East Waterboro, ME

I’m a New Hampshire wedding photographer, who specializes in candid, natural wedding photography, serving all of New England for over fifteen years. Almost all of my couples come to me saying that they feel weird in front of the camera and worried about how their photos will turn out. But of course they want those gorgeous, Pinterest-worthy shots! My laid-back attitude will help put you at ease, helping your true personalities shine through (with simple and fun guidance for the posed photos). And my quiet and calm nature makes it easy for me to blend into the background, to get tons of candid photos that you will make you laugh and cry.

Awarded Best of Zola
Brett did an incredible job capturing our winter wedding! She was easy to work with, communicative, and friendly from the start. Our wedding photos came out incredible, and she did a great job of mixing posed photos with lots of candids, and even walked up a snowy ski slope with us to take ski lift pictures. We also requested film photos and she did this with no extra charge besides the film itself. She sent us a preview the day after the wedding, and our whole edited photo package arrived less than a few weeks later which was a happy surprise! We highly recommend working with Brett as your wedding photographer.

Johanna Sorrell Photography

  • Serves East Waterboro, ME

I’ve been making pictures since I was 12. My parents gave me an ancient 35mm Konica Autoreflex camera, told me to get after it, and the rest, as they say, is history. My role as a photographer is to capture the rare, vulnerable, epic, extraordinary, and wonderfully ordinary moments of life, as well as the beautiful details in between. I strive to make images that come from the heart and will tell your story for years to come. Also, I might cry at your wedding. It happens.

Awarded Best of Zola
I don’t know where to begin! I was hoping to find a photographer who was easy to be around, wouldn’t make us feel stiff and captured the true joys of the day. Jo is your person! She was incredible. We are avid hikers and mountain people and Jo didn’t bat an eye when I asked if she would come over to hike our favorite mountain for sunset/first look photos the Thursday before our wedding. They are the most special photos we have from our wedding and it truly was such an intimate time for us to share together before the big day (my husband, Jo and I all together!) and it made for such an easy transition to working with her on wedding day. Jo captured all the action, often pulling off crazy maneuvers or every laying on the dance floor to get the perfect shots. In the lead up to the wedding she was always available, happy to chat about ideas and really valued what was most important to us. She easily brought on an amazing second photographer as we got closer and picked someone who she truly thought would mesh well with us. I’m not someone who documents much with progressional photography, but I’m truly looking forward to more life events so I can give Jo a call.

If you’re ditching the traditions that don’t fit and building a day that actually feels like you, I’m all in. I capture the real, raw, emotional stuff with a dark and moody twist. No fake smiles. No cookie-cutter poses. Just your story—unfiltered and unforgettable.

Val Bozzi Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding day. From our first interaction, she was quick to respond, personable, and easy to communicate with, putting us at ease right away. Their photography style is emotional, fun, goofy, and completely natural - they captured all the special moments and little details that made our day so unique and memorable. We tend to be goody awkward people and told Val to give us some directions so weren't so awkward in pictures and she did the perfect job of giving us small cues but let us be "us." Which resulted in the most stunning, authentic photos that we'll cherish forever. We can't recommend Val Bozzi Photography highly enough!

Penny Antares Photography

  • Serves East Waterboro, ME

Hi! I'm Penny! I live in beautiful coastal New England, freezing slices of time in photo format since 2010 and I’m so lucky to love what I do. I strive to make my clients feel seen, at ease, and authentic. That’s just how the best pictures are made! There’s a lot of shape-shifting between director, fly-on-the-wall, and all the roles in between which means offering structure in the right moments and simply getting out of the way in others. For many of my clients, being in front of the camera is NOT a cozy place to be, and I do everything I can to make it feel safe and maybe even fun!? Your wedding is a great day to be unabashedly yourself.

I cannot say enough good things about Penny! She was so easy and fun to work with throughout the entire wedding process. She was able to bring all of our ideas and inspiration to life - we literally look back on our wedding album in awe of how well she captured the entire day. Penny has such a gift for making candid photos look like art! If you want a photographer who will creatively use your entire space while also making sure you are getting everything you want, look no further. I can’t even count how many guests raved about how great she was!

**We are only accepting elopements currently, but can’t figure out how to change our listing!** Whether you are professionals passionate about your careers, are #vanlife, found love later in life, or can’t be defined by traditional labels, it’s YOU that makes “Kate & Keith Photography.” From our first meeting, we’ll be establishing a vibe. But if we get carried away by conversations of favorite hikes, or where you grew up, then you can bet we’ll be showing up on wedding day with all the excitement shared by your inner circle.

Awarded Best of Zola
Being a couple affected by COVID postponements, our wedding experience - even up to the very moment we said, “I do” - was chaotic and emotional. The bright spot throughout it all? Kate & Keith. We met Kate & Keith even before we were engaged at a destination wedding and immediately knew that when the time came for us to tie the knot, we wanted them capturing the big day—not only because of how beautiful their photos were, but because of how effortlessly they got along with the bride, groom, family, and entire wedding group as well. A few years later when we signed our contract, we knew exactly what we were receiving—an engagement shoot, multiple hours of wedding day coverage, and hundreds of incredible photos… but what we didn’t realize at the time is the amount of love, support, compassion, positivity, professionalism, goofiness, laughs and incredible memories we would also experience with this extraordinary pair. From our first engagement shoot in December of 2018, to our “Coronaversary” #1 shoot on what was supposed to be our wedding day in March of 2020, to our second (and LAST) “Coronaversary” #2 shoot in May of 2021, to our actual wedding weekend from May 12-15, 2022 in Montego Bay, Jamaica, every single moment spent with Kate and Keith was enjoyable, uplifting and fun, and resulted in our absolute favorite photographs that we will proudly display and look back on fondly for our entire lives. Kate & Keith have an amazing ability to capture the energy, emotion, and feelings present in each moment they photograph. When we look through our albums we not only see still photos from the best days of our lives, but can remember exactly what we were laughing about or what song was playing in a particular moment, too. If that isn’t impressive enough, we can’t recommend pairing their expert photography with their incredible videography, too. We had no idea when K&K were switching from photo to video, and they captured our wedding in both mediums phenomenally. We could write a novel about why having K&K as your photographers is the best decision you will make, but here are just a few of the many of highlights: -Top-notch communication: we always felt well-informed before our big day and on-site formal photos were a breeze thanks to their expert communication with our group. -While we did have a lot of practice, K&K made us feel immediately comfortable in front of their cameras. Their cues were easy to follow, and we felt extremely relaxed and natural, which was absolutely and beautifully reflected in our final photos. -Their attention to detail is unmatched. Kate & Keith will suggest a minimal change, like shifting your stance or turning your torso ever so slightly, which makes a huge difference and results in flawless photos. -And finally… Did you know Kate also doubles as a hair stylist? She will pull out a bobby pin and make sure your updo stays up! And did you know Keith is a mind reader? We thought we were having a private moment, just the two of us, during a walk on the beach on the morning of our wedding, but somehow Keith was inconspicuously there too, at the exact same location, at the exact same time, and captured one of our favorite photos on our wedding day. There are a million other reasons why we love Kate & Keith… but unfortunately we are nearing our word limit. To sum it up; the best decision you make (aside from getting engaged and saying “I do”) is having Kate & Keith capture your special day

Hi there! We're a husband and wife photography team that loves capturing genuine emotion and real moments at your wedding. We believe that there's magic in everything, and our goal as your storytellers is to capture that magic in a way that's honest and true to who you are. We focus on the unique elements that tell the tale of your day, so your final wedding gallery has a timeless storybook feel.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Jamie and Eddie of Magic Arrow Photography was an absolute dream. We knew we wanted a documentary-style approach—something cinematic, emotional, and honest—and we could not have imagined a more perfect team. Their artistic styles complement each other beautifully, and because they shoot both film and digital, the final gallery feels rich, textured, and timeless. From the start, their energy was exactly what we hoped for. We met in person for our engagement shoot over the summer, which put us completely at ease. Chris usually takes time to warm up in front of a camera, but Jamie and Eddie have such a natural, calm, friendly way of working that by the time the wedding arrived, it felt like we were spending the weekend with old friends. Some of our favorite images aren’t even the big posed moments—they’re the tiny, quiet ones we didn’t even know were happening. They captured emotion, movement, humor, and atmosphere in a way that feels authentic to who we are as a couple. Their instincts are incredibly sharp—they know exactly when to step in and help create a scene, and when to disappear into the background and let real moments unfold. They were wonderful collaborators alongside our videographer and every other vendor. And even though they are based in Maine, they were thrilled to travel to Brooklyn for our wedding, which made the day that much more special. We now have a gallery of photos we will cherish for the rest of our lives—and, unexpectedly, two new friends in Maine. If you want photographers who are wildly talented, emotionally intelligent, kind, and creative—hire Magic Arrow. We feel incredibly lucky that we did.

Hi! We’re K&L Photography. We are a wedding photography business located in seacoast New Hampshire. We are a best friend duo who work together to capture all of your candid natural moments on your wedding day.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Lindsey and Kaylie for both of my weddings in 2024 and 2025, we had a large local wedding reception and then flew south to Mexico for our ceremony. From beginning to end this was the easiest part of my wedding planning process. This duo will make you feel so comfortable and at ease, I personally got overwhelmed taking so many pictures on one of the days and they quickly intervened and made it so that I would feel more comfortable. Truly they're the kindest, most authentic people on the planet and I couldn't recommend them enough to anyone!

I wish I could rate her 1,000 stars. Rebecca was not only so kind and pleasant to work with , she truly made our wedding and vision come to life! Not only is she a hard worker but she was organized, precise and kept our wedding party and us right on schedule. She gave us great ideas for poses and her sweet and funny personality kept us laughing, even when the wind got cold! haha ! She captured the day beautifully. We got married in November at the Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown and she knew how to time the photos just right to capture the sunset. Our pictures were out of this world. We cannot thank Rebecca enough. We will be using her for all of our future photography needs. If you need a photographer - Rebecca should be your go-to!

My name is Dave Herring and I started Herring Photography in 2017. I live in Plaistow, NH with my wife Kalila, our son Davy, and our dogs Snickers and Chipwich. I have a dual background both as a pastor and as a financial analyst, but a few years ago, I bought a camera to document our trip to the UK and I never anticipated how much that would change my life. As a lifelong fan of photography, I became obsessed with learning about how cameras work and how to capture the important and beautiful moments of life.

Herring Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding photography. Their communication style is so easygoing, clear, and comfortable - they really put us at ease throughout the entire process. We felt they brought incredible passion, value, and a hard-working ethic capturing all the special moments of our big day. Herring called us a few days before the wedding to go over what moments and photos were most important for us to capture. This level of care really made us feel they were invested in understanding our vision. On the day itself, Herring was able to make us feel so natural and relaxed as they unobtrusively took candid photos that wonderfully encapsulated the joy of our wedding. We'd highly recommend Herring Photography for your own wedding or special event - their professionalism and dedication to capturing meaningful memories is fantastic value and left us with photos we'll treasure forever.

J&J Photography is a husband-wife wedding photography team. They're two soulmates who love capturing other couples who share soulful love of their own! Based on the Seacoast of New Hampshire Jodie and Jeremy love traveling all over New England to capture others' love stories.

There are simply not enough words to describe how absolutely incredible Jodie & Jeremy are. From the very first meeting, they were so easy to get along with and they made us both feel so comfortable. We had a BLAST during our engagement shoot in the White Mountains—the photos turned out spectacular. They are such an incredible team, they work together seamlessly and capture every angle of every moment. The photography for our wedding was the biggest priority for me personally, and I had nothing but full faith and trust in them. They are SO amazing and talented and captured our day beautifully! They helped produce a timeline for the day that we were able to structure everything around and the day went sooooo smoothly. They captured EVERY moment perfectly—first kiss, first dance, everything! The sun popped out of the clouds right during our ceremony and they swept us away for sunset photos to take advantage of the light and those photos turned out GORGEOUS because they didn't wait a minute to enjoy the sunshine. Sneak peeks landed in our inbox TWO days after our wedding and I can't stop looking at them. BOOK JODIE AND JEREMY. They are an absolute DREAM. We love them forever.

Since I had worked as a newspaper journalist in Maine for 25 years, I knew Carl Walsh's work - and knew he was a talented photographer adept at getting beautiful, candid portraits in a short amount of time. But since David and I only had an hour for our outdoor wedding before our dinner reservation, I was not expecting Carl to deliver so many incredible images. Chiefly because Carl faced other challenges. To start, we got married at the outset of Covid-19 in a very small ceremony in which we had to social distance from my 84-year-old mother-in-law, who was fighting lung cancer. Add to that the fact Barbara hated having her photo taken. And then there was the gusting coastal wind that kept blowing my hair in my face. But in Carl’s photos, you don’t see any of that - just dozens of tack-sharp images of beautiful moments filled with tenderness and laughter. He turned our special day into art. And he did so seamlessly, quietly, confidently, and with a kind, happy spirit that added to the day's magic.
