Our stunning large iron doors open to our beautifully lit patio. Our entrance to venue is super unique and hidden. You guests will be so shocked when the wind their way to the space! Imagine a poolside ceremony and reception with soft lights, white-clothed tables and candle centerpieces and sophisticated indoor space with sliding glass doors that open directly to an outside covered patio overlooking the pool, allowing for the perfect indoor and outdoor experience for you and your guests. 1910. That’s when this studio was built. That’s more than 100 years ago. Before the Titanic. Before World War I. Of course, when they built it they didn’t know it was a studio. They thought they’d built a factory for transforming raw cotton into fire-retardant fabrics. And they did just that for about 84 years. Next came a few years of hand-wringing and a few more of neglect and abandonment. In 2007, they finally turned it over to Jason Ivany. He set it back on track and transformed it into the daylight studio it was always meant to be just before the 100 year mark.

The epitome of industrial chic, our main event space features an impressive wrought iron entrance that welcomes guests into an open and airy space with original hardwoods, exposed brick, vaulted ceilings, and warm natural light. A 1920’s inspired space, the Cellar, harkens back to Prohibition days with original stonework and vintage lighting. This hidden gem, located below the main floor, features cozy lounge furniture, an oversized antique safe, stone walls, and whimsical lighting. Experience the magic of the city from our Rooftop Terrace, an intimate open air space with a captivating panorama of the Atlanta skyline. The Electric Room at Star Metals offers upscale features, social and collaborative spaces, state-of-the-art finishes, panoramic views, an indoor/outdoor bar, and a cohesive design sensibility that will transform your next event. The venue is located in the center of West Midtown along the Howell Mill Road corridor, with a vibrant mix of dining, shopping, and cultural and entertainment venues. Our venue was originally built in 1942, and used as munitions storage during World War 2. After that, it was repurposed for different industrial uses until the 1990s, when we moved in and set up our antique shop. Thirty years later, the area has changed incredibly and we no longer work in antiques!

Housed in a late Victorian building that was once a home, a church, a dance studio, and an architectural salvage store, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub has worked to become a cornerstone of the neighborhood. With a focus on comfortable atmosphere, clean and exciting locally sourced food, an extensive bar program, and excellent beer crafted in house, the goal is to maintain a restaurant that has has something for everyone. Located in West Midtown Atlanta and built in 1970s, you will be greeted by the history that makes The West Venue the only venue of its kind in Atlanta. For years, the space was used to host congregations until 2003 when it was converted into an event hall. In 2020, the building was purchased and renovated to upgrade with latest amenities to add to its one of a kind character, while keeping original part of the building structure. Lazy Betty is the culmination of the Hsu family's, along with Chef Aaron Phillips, love for food and community.
