I can’t say enough amazing things about this venue! As a wedding planner, I always like to work with venues that have checked all their boxes. Meaning, they have thought through everything that a couple could need at their venue. I love that they have tables and chairs already on site for couples to use, that way they don’t have to outsource them. Another thing that I absolutely LOVE about the venue, is that they have created the space in black and white. This is absolutely PERFECT for anyone who wants to come in to have their wedding/event and make it their one. In talking with Brittany, she explained to me, that’s exactly want she had in mind when they started to decorate. I am so excited with recommend this venue to my future couples and I look forward to working there again!

We had our reception at Trailside this past Fall of 2023. The day of, everything went perfectly. We were given ample time to set up, freedom to move around in the space, and ability to utilize it as we saw fit. The venue usually has live music, but they booked an acoustic band, which set up in the main dining area of the brewery. Our reception was able to play its own music, from speakers we brought, and not feel impacted from the live music going on for the rest of the patrons. Our event did not co-mingle too much with the general public; however there was a couple people that drifted in and we politely asked them to leave. As stated above, our overall day of was all we could have wanted and more. The days leading up to our reception were very stressful due to renovations that weren't quite ready for our event. Since we were the first party in this space, we had to bare the growing pains, which Trailside tried to accommodate for as much as possible. I believe since we were the "test" party, this team will grow from the experience. All in all, our reception day was all we could have wanted and more, so when it came down to the wire, the team delivered.

We got married at Bent Creek Lodge on 8/6/22 and rented out the whole lodge and the Luhn house for ourselves and our guests for the weekend. It was extra special that we were able to get married here, because we actually stayed here the weekend we got engaged as well! It meant so much that we were able to return and share the experience with our loved ones. I am not exaggerating when I say that it was one of the most magical weekends of our lives, and it would not have been possible without Randy, Linda, and the rest of the amazing Bent Creek Lodge crew! The all-inclusive wedding package made it so insanely easy for us to have a top-tier wedding with minimal fuss and headaches on our part. We had our venue, lodging for all of our guests, officiant, catering, cake, beer and wine, and flowers all in a one-stop shop which made everything so much easier. The only things we chose to coordinate with outside vendors was the photography, DJ, and hair and makeup. Randy and his crew handled everything else, and they did an excellent job on all of it. All of the food was incredible, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our guests with special dietary needs. The flowers and cake were beautiful, and Randy did a wonderful job officiating our ceremony. Just about every single guest came up to us at least once during the weekend to gush about what an amazing time they were having, and several approached us afterwards to tell us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. The entire crew really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and like family. Bent Creek Lodge will always have an extra special place in our hearts, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Where to begin. I will start off saying the most important – venue owners Amy and Shane Clark are truly some of the kindest people you will meet. The Venue at Rose Springs Farm was only the second venue my fiance (now husband) and I toured, but after meeting them and seeing the stunning venue I instantly knew we HAD to book it. I could just tell from that first encounter the passion, love, and joy they had for creating amazing wedding days. I went from feeling completely stressed about the task of planning a wedding to feeling like, “if I have the Clarks by my side I can totally do this.” So almost immediately we booked our date for about a year out and we also booked Amy to be our day-of-coordinator. Other than saying “yes” when Greg asked me to marry him, this was the best decision I made! Amy truly went above and beyond as a day-of-coordinator for us, and we are forever grateful. From many, many phone calls with me, either talking me out of a panic over the timeline or just brainstorming “what if” scenarios, to meetings in person where she helped me and my mom pick out the perfect décor from the HUGE stock of included items and helped me plan how the day would go. (Seriously, the décor closet is the place dreams are made of.) One of the many things I hold close to my heart and will remember forever was when I asked Amy and Shane how Greg and I could have a traditional Jewish wedding chuppah to get married under. Should I buy something? Should my dad try and build something? I showed them photos of a chuppah and I was met with “Oh! We can totally figure that out for you – we got you.” And they really did. Shane was able to construct two of the wedding arches they had together and Amy used her magic skills to make it beautiful with fabric and flowers. This is a perfect example of how the Clarks are, this is how they responded to anything at all during the planning process – with a kind and loving “we got you.” And Greg and I truly felt that. When it came to the wedding day we had no doubt in our mind the day would flow smoothly, and it did. If there was a hiccup – we didn't know about it! Amy did her day-of-coordinator duties beautifully and Shane kept the entire venue and staff running smoothly. Still to this day we do not know how he and his team manage to set up and take down chairs and move tables around so stealthy and quickly! Little things about that day that stood out in my mind that any couple thinking of booking Rose Springs Farm should know – the beautiful and spacious bridal suite had the sweetest mimosa bar set up for me and my bridesmaids. Lining up for the processional went so smoothly I didn't even realize it was happening until I heard my entrance song being played – that is how non-stressed they made me feel. The (included!) tealights were all lit on the tables when we walked into the reception space, and it was so twinkly and magical. Greg and I got a picnic basket at the end of the evening with food from our buffet and dessert in it. This made me tear up it was so sweet and made us able to have a cozy evening in the next night and relive the whole day over a meal we didn't have to worry about! When it comes to weddings, Amy and Shane REALLY, TRULY know what they are doing. I will recommend this venue to anyone I know who is getting married. I am so happy they are a part of our story and helped to get our “forever” off to a wonderful start. THANK YOU!

DECIDING ON THE VENUE: We recently got married at Mountain Brook Vineyards in June. We can’t say enough about how perfect everything was. It truly was the best venue. While we were deciding on a venue, Rebecca made time to give us a virtual tour of the venue because we lived in different states. After seeing how beautiful the venue was, how wonderful the staff was, and how accommodating Rebecca was, we decided to go with Mountain Brook Vineyards for our wedding. REHEARSAL DINNER: We decided to have our rehearsal dinner at Mountain Brook. The rehearsal dinner may be our favorite part of everything. It was truly magical being able to have our rehearsal dinner outside under the lights in a vineyard. Mountain Brook also allowed us to do a welcome celebration at the venue where we had drinks and s'mores for guests. THE WEDDING DAY: Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful it was. It has so many gorgeous spots for pictures, and they turned out amazing. The ceremony location was perfect for an elegant ceremony. The vines in the background made our pictures look great. Mountain Brook provided shuttles for all our guests to and from the ceremony location, and provided our guests with wine prior to the ceremony. The reception center is about as perfect as it could be. Even with minimal decorating, the area was beautiful with the wine barrels on the wall. It is big enough to fit plenty of guests (we had approximately 120), but also small enough where it doesn't feel like there is too much empty space. STAFF: If you get married at Mountain Brook, you feel like you are part of the family right away. The staff are all wonderful. They are helpful and make you feel like you are not just another couple getting married but actually important. They even got on the dance floor to celebrate with us. Rebecca is one of the most amazing wedding coordinators there is. She is extremely helpful, offers up ideas, and was able to bring all of our ideas to life. She is one of the nicest and most fun people you could meet. She and the rest of the staff are very laid back and let you make your wedding day what you want. AFTER THE WEDDING: Rebecca let us clean up the day after which was amazing. The day after the wedding, Rebecca went above and beyond to look for something sentimental that I had lost during the wedding. She even dug through the trash to find it. We truly cannot say enough good things about Mountain Brook Vineyards and we would recommend everyone have their wedding there. We definitely feel like part of the family and will visit often.

Homewood

Asheville, NC
  • Up to 150 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,500

Homewood, a special event venue in Asheville, NC, is an ideal destination for rehearsal dinners, weddings, receptions, and gatherings. Homewood is a beautifully restored 1920s stone manor located in Asheville's post-Victorian historic district of Montford. The elegant castle was originally built as a private home. The elegance of the 1920s luminesces from original wrought iron chandeliers and alabaster sconces, casting graceful lighting from the 20-foot ceilings of the Great Room to the original hardwood floors, cherry walls, and grand Appalachian stone fireplaces. Conveniently located within a mile of downtown Asheville, Homewood offers 200 free, designated parking spaces, and is located in a neighborhood setting. The Great Room seats 110 people for dinner, or up to 150 with cocktail seating, with space for dance floor and DJ or band. Homewood is fully handicap-accessible. The beautiful and lush surrounding grounds provide additional outdoor space, including our garden ceremony site.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Handles all cleanup logistics
  • Bridal suite on site
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

  • On-site parking not available
  • Not for you if you are drawn to more unconventional venues
  • No in-house lighting and sound packages available
From the moment we started planning, Homewood's team was responsive and easy to work with, which made the whole booking process feel smooth and stress-free. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—it worked perfectly for both our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, and the romantic, timeless atmosphere was exactly what we'd been picturing. What really set them apart was their curated list of vendors; they had some required and some recommended, but every single one we worked with was fantastic and clearly vetted by the team. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the space was, and we felt like our day was elevated just by being there. Homewood took care of all the details so we could focus on enjoying our wedding. I wanted a wedding venue in the mountains of North Carolina. I viewed so many venues from Salem to Banner Elk. Nothing compared to The Fields of Blackberry Cove. They were easy to set up a viewing appointment with. They walked us all around the property, including multiple ceremony options and a large guest house with a bridal suite and two guest bathrooms. Doug, the owner, offers his own catering which was beyound incredible. We did a buffet style and it was all delicious. Doug even made me my own cauliflower steak - I'm a vegetarian. Through the entire process Doug and his team, especially Carmen, were a pleasure to work with.

Let's be honest, wedding planning kind of sucks sometimes, but the 405 team took great care of us and removed a TON of stress from our plate. Most importantly, they went the extra mile to keep my lady happy :) Happy wife, happy life!

The space itself is airy and elegant—both the lush gardens outdoors and the bright indoor spaces are immaculately maintained and feel very private despite being right off the main street of downtown Weaverville. Alexandra was an immensely valuable asset to our wedding planning experience—she celebrates your vision for the day while providing great recommendations and expertly and calmly guiding you through all of the little details. While Emerald Ridge is an extraordinary venue, it wasn’t the venue that won us over. The owners, Janice & Paul, were the reason we decided we wanted to have our wedding there. Janice was our first point of contact and couldn’t have been more communicative, authentic, personable, and accommodating. They allowed us to take our engagement photos there after touring the property. Paul drove us around on his golf cart and happily answered all of our questions and put us at ease. We hired Malorie as our “month of” wedding coordinator and we’re extremely pleased that we did! She’s clearly an expert when it comes to the property and the wedding planning/execution process. On the day of our wedding she went above and beyond to make us feel as special and comfortable as possible! Mason and Taylor were also extremely accommodating and hard working. The entire staff was incredibly genuine and kind to us and our guests. We highly recommend booking the “No Stress Wedding Weekend” package and adding Thursday night to get the full experience of feeling right at home. Emerald Ridge has a vast inventory of decorations which allowed us to travel lightly from out of town. Emerald Ridge has a focus on keeping their property naturally beautiful and respecting the environment, which we very much appreciated. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding experience! We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts.
