“The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!”

“Let me start by saying that we are not the type to write reviews for anybody - good or bad - but for the sake of future individuals/couples looking to book PK and the Mighty Seven we feel obligated to say that if you are looking for a band to entertain whatever party you are hosting you MUST choose PK and the Mighty Seven. To start, Matt was incredibly communicative and responsive during the initial planning stages, promptly responding to e-mails and joining several Zoom calls leading up to our event. We had a vision for our special day and they accommodated each and every one of our requests. On the day of they arrived early and did the necessary prep work to ensure they were fully situated to provide our guests with the night of a lifetime. They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. We had a wide array of guests and the overwhelmingly consistent feedback we received was that the band was AMAZING. No exaggeration - the majority of our guests said they were the best band they'd ever experienced. If you are getting married or have a special event in their area you will be doing yourselves an immense disservice not to hire them to make your evening as spectacular as you want it to be.”

“Leah photographed our wedding at my family's property in Napa Valley, June 2024. Leah took lots of time to scope out the location and seemed to be absolutely *everywhere* during the wedding, at all the right moments. I didn't have to call her over once, because she was already there. She captured the emotions of the day, the little moments, the big moments, and made our day look like the fairytale wedding that it felt like. Once we got the photo gallery back (so quickly!) we relived the day all over again. We were tearing up and laughing at all the photos. I felt like I was looking at photos from a Brides magazine, but it was me! Another thing I'll mention is that Leah gives direction in a kind, calm and encouraging way. My husband is not too confident in photos and he felt SO comfortable posing with her there, and loves his photos too! “Nicole is incredible. Not only is she super talented, but she is a professional! I was in Rhode Island for a friends wedding, and had booked Nicole for my own in September. I needed to schedule a trial with her, and last minute, she offered to come to my hotel room and do the trial right then and there! Within 24 hours, she confirmed my trial for my own wedding and was at my hotel room ready to rock. She was accommodating and listened to all my feedback. She even asked me if there was anything I would change. After giving her feedback, she went in and made the makeup and hair perfect. I felt Gorgeous, glamorous and just beautiful. She took notes of the specifics for my day and told me what products she recommended I buy - like the lip combo she used. She was clear, communicative, and professional, but every time we talked it still felt like talking to an old friend. (Several of our guests assumed that she WAS an old friend of ours who happened to be a photographer — that’s how warm and chill she is.) Ahead of time she was great about getting details of exactly what we wanted, so that on the big day she just slipped in and out seamlessly without pulling us away from the fun. She was also careful to figure out exactly what we wanted the vibes of the final product to be (candid, colorful, joyful) and she delivered in spades. The finished products are beautiful and were delivered quickly (both the digital copies and the physical prints we ordered). We cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“I CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW GREAT CHRISTINE AND SALTY BROAD IS! From the start of planning through the wedding day, we had so much fun with them. Christine was so communicative and responsive as I was an out of state bride, so all of our meetings were on zoom. She was so patient and accommodating, making us super comfortable and really worked to build a relationship with us and get to know each of us individually. On the wedding day, we had Christine shooting the bridal party during the day and the second photographer was snapping photos of all the decor, guests hanging out and playing games at the venue, and then the groomsmen getting ready. Christine has an amazing eye for detail and lighting and really helped me feel comfortable with my insecurities in photos. Christine kept us right on time through our family pictures as of course it was quite hectic getting a big group together. She made sure to snap photos during private and candid moments of my husband and I and those are some of the best shots! Christine had our sneak peeks back to us 8 days after the wedding. EIGHT!
