Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (99 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Drexel, NC

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

The BEST most nerve wracking decision we made for our big day!!! I was so nervous to go this route but trusted my gut and I’m so glad I did. FM was incredible at walking me through the process and the full service package is worth WAY more than what you pay for it. I felt incredibly prepared for flower arrival from all the phone calls, videos, and paperwork they sent including detailed recipes and schedule for the week. We had some hiccups with Hurricanes and delayed shipping. They called me to initially tell me they would be a day early. Then when they didn’t arrive called again and explained they’d been held up in customs(obviously no ones fault). They then sent out an entire extra box of blooms to be sure we got everything we needed. Flowers were beautiful!!! Spending time with my sisters and family putting them together was truly the most fun wedding prep. My guests and coordinator truly couldn’t believe we had done all our own flowers, and the best part??! We saved ourselves literally thousands!! We would recommend FM to anyone for any occasion anytime.

Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Drexel, NC

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets was a wonderful florist to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was prompt, clear, and friendly. They walked us through the process seamlessly and the quality of their work was excellent. The bouquets, boutonnières, garlands with clip on flowers, and centerpieces had an authentic, natural look despite being faux flowers. Pricing is transparent and affordable, making it an easy decision to choose Faux Bouquets. The bright spring colors in the Garden Vibrance collection were beautiful, annd a perfect fit for our late May wedding. The order arrived with ample lead time prior to the wedding day. Additionally, the packaging was excellent, and their return shipment process is very simple and easy to follow. We highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple planning their wedding.

From initially contacting Rachel about wedding flowers, we knew we'd lucked out. Coming from a family of gardeners / florists, we knew we wanted something natural and elegant, but weren't really sure how to make that vision come to life. As both an artist and florist, Rachel came in and guided us on the most amazing journey, ending in the floral display of a lifetime at our wedding. From guiding us on choosing a floral theme that matched our wedding colors, to expert advice on flower availability in different seasons, Rachel guided us as we built the most incredible vision. When the day came and we saw the venue, we were literally floored. Her execution and attention to detail made the whole venue come alive in a way that can only be described as magical. The bouquets and boutonnieres were perfectly designed and put together, and the bride's gorgeous bouquet had the most compliments of all! We could not recommend Rachel enough, from the initial planning conversations all the way through the end of the wedding. Her customer service was impeccable, setting up and breaking down the floral displays within our time windows on the big day and solving so many issues without needing to take our limited time. If you want the flowers of your dreams, provided by an expert florist you can trust completely, look no further!

Elizabeth and Cinda at Lux Lineage Floral Design were great with communication. I was out of state and they did their best to always fit in meetings with me. They used my Pinterest ideas for support and sent me a great vision board. Their work matched my vision and felt so romantic, light, and calm - just what we wanted. They did a great job helping explain different flowers and how to make my vision pop. They had multiple decorative pieces we could rent for the tables and helped flip our flowers around during the day, reusing them to keep everything looking beautiful. I loved working with them and they made the barn at Brookberry Farm look so romantic. My bouquet was beautiful and the family loved the corsages and boutonnieres.
