Music has always been an important part of my life. With over 12 years of experience in the wedding industry, I fell in love with music at a young age, and being a wedding DJ has allowed me to share my passion with my clients on the most important day of their lives. Hi, my name is Cris and I am the owner of Red Velvet DJ! I actually started DJ-ing at the age of 11 (1996). In my early 20's I transitioned to DJ-ing at various clubs & lounges throughout the Chicagoland area. (Where I grew up and lived till 2019) Some of them include Dragonfly, Bella Lounge, Republic, Wet, Waterhouse, and Rebel in Wrigleyville. I have focused primarily on weddings since 2009. My open format mixing style is very diverse, so I am able to blend all genres of music together! I live in Temecula with my wife, 2 children, and 2 dogs. I have a love for basketball, wine, long walks, and vacuuming around the house. =)

Michael Gagnier has a Bachelor's Degree in Music from California Sate University San Bernardino and has been in business as a DJ since 1994. Michael has extensive experience working weddings, clubs, school dances, karaoke bars, etc. His knowledge of music theory lends to masterful mixing that takes into consideration the use of tempo as well as key structure in order to have smooth transitions from one song to the next. Michael received his Master's Degree in Administration from the University of Redlands His organizational skills and vast experience lends to sequencing the special moments within your event so that there is little down time.
