Weddings are amazing, once-in-a-lifetime events that deserve to be everything you've imagined and more. And nothing has a greater effect on how that day is perceived than the entertainment. Music is the heart and soul of any wedding - it sets the mood, shapes the vibe, and creates the memories that last a life time. We recognize that and approach every wedding as the unique, individual event that it is in order to create a soundtrack that is uniquely YOU.
My company & how my DJs and I approach weddings is best summed up by the motto "#WeDoITDifferent". This is a guarantee that your wedding entertainment WON’T be the same tired clichés you’ve seen at your friend’s weddings. It’s a guarantee that the cheesy wedding songs get left at the door and the only music you’ll hear all night has been specifically selected for you and your guests. I don’t believe that your DJ should be doing line dances with the guests and I don’t believe your DJ should be on the mic saying corny things all night. It’s a guarantee that your wedding will be an EXPERIENCE with your loved ones that you will cherish forever.

Nailed it. Read the room and the energy.
A wedding can easily devolve into a series of ick moments—noise, chaos, and performative energy. Late last year we had been to a wedding that was dead in the dance floor, so we knew what we didn't work. DJ Sean Poe from BassBliss was the antidote to that. We didn't want a 'wedding DJ'; we wanted a partner who could manage the rhythm of our celebration so we could remain present in the moment. DJ Sean Poe understands the energy of an evening. The primary instruction was a half hour of spiritual ceremony and then turn the party on. He worked seamlessly with our venue at Jackalope Ranch and our planner for timing and placement, but his real value was in his ability to read the room's frequency. He kept the energy giving and honest, never letting the 'big drama' of the event overshadow the significance of the union. He was never a disruption and always participating. He provided the soundtrack to our transition from the instrumental music and a special chance to play a recording of Grandpa's piano all the way to the dance floor and a flawless mash up of Funky Cold Media with Ice Ice Baby. He is a professional who respects the weight of the vows as much as the joy of the dance floor, but wasn't afraid to let us have it first dance to Thank God by Kane Brown and later play JuJu on that Beat, then still walk us out to What Was I Thinking. He read the room and took it all seriously, but led us in a lot of fun along the way.

Alex and the team at Bass & Bliss were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. We worked with Alex for our wedding in 2022 and he made the planning process a breeze! The music on our big day was super important to me, and the online portal made it super easy to organize all of the songs I wanted. On the day of, everything went perfectly and Alex made our music transition seamlessly from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the dance floor (including multiple set ups and location changes). I was pretty much on the dance floor the whole evening (as were most of our guests) and it was a blast! So so so glad we chose Bass & Bliss as our wedding DJ and I would 100% recommend!!

Best Wedding DJ Ever!!!
From the moment we first spoke with the team at Bass & Bliss, we knew we were in good hands. Their communication style was easy and thorough, always making sure we felt informed and supported throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, their work was simply superb - they kept our dance floor rocking all night long, giving everyone a chance to get out and have fun. They were also incredibly thoughtful, allowing my husband and I plenty of time for our couples dances. On top of that, they even helped us navigate some family drama, showing their true professionalism. The quality of their work and value was truly super awesome and fun.
