Hi there! My name is Jen (they/them/she) and I've been a professional makeup artist for 15 years. I specialize in all inclusive makeup for all walks of life and for all occasions. I have always had a love for bridal makeup as I am a hopeless romantic. I am always honored to be a part of one of the most special days for people.

What sets me apart is my years of experience as well as my versatility. I don't just have an extensive background in bridal but I also have ample experience in production and film. I also am an artist who prides themselves in being skilled in more natural looks as well as full glam looks. I am also part of the LGBTQIA+ community so my space is always a safe space for anyone. My goal is always to bring the positive vibes to any space and environment for my brides and their bridal party. Inclusivity and versatility is the name of the game for me.

TENS ACROSS THE BOARD!
I had initially done a hair and makeup consultation with a different artist that was AWFUL. I didn't know it could go so wrong! Then I found Jenny. They listened to all of wishes, dreams and concerns and did an INCREDIBLE job on my wedding day! My mom almost never wears makeup and was nervous to have her full face done. Jenny made sure she felt comfortable and made her look like her best self. My mom was absolutely feeling herself all day and night! Everyone Jenny painted looked so beautiful. They were so kind, chill and lovely. We genuinely had the nicest morning together. And I felt so beautiful.

The best makeup artist all around!!
I feel SO INCREDIBLY LUCKY to have found Jenny for my wedding makeup! They were kind and friendly, very flexible to my needs (and trauma from a previous makeup trial that went poorly), and of course, did an incredible job with my makeup. When I first reached out to schedule, I sent them a little blurb with references about what I’m looking for, how I usually do my own makeup, etc - and when we got to the trial, their attention to detail came through completely. I mentioned “maybe” wanting to use my own blush and Jenny had brought backup options in similar tones to the one I had mentioned, and every single thing I mentioned as TBD, Jenny asked about in the sessions to clarify the details. It was really nice feeling so confident that they had sat down and really considered about my unique needs. On a few elements in the trial we agreed that we’d try one thing, and then decide after if we wanted to go another direction for the wedding day. We ended up “going the other direction” on both points, but I was glad we did it that way, because it gave me more confidence I made the right decision. For one point - the exact eyeshadow tone specifically - I even gave a little feedback in realtime on the wedding day, and Jenny was super unbothered, working with me to achieve the exact look I wanted. I also have to mention that I always have creasing in my undereye area (late 30s bride) and Jenny was able to help me with this. I mentioned that I had this issue to Jenny after the trial, with a comment about always having that issue, and it might not be fixable. Jenny’s response was “I’m so glad you told me!” and they were able to very significantly reduce this to something imperceptible on my wedding day. Amazing! I also have to mention that Jenny is FAST compared to other makeup artists. It seemed very common for MUAs to require a minimum of 2h set aside for their services, but Jenny recommended 60-90min. We set aside time for 90min, and they finished a little over the 60min mark for my look! Overall I will be actively and enthusiatically recommending Jenny to any friends I have who might need bridal makeup!
