I'm the smiling face behind the camera, the one who tells YOUR story. I'm the woman behind R Productions. I began my freelance video career in early 2018 after an education in broadcast news and a role in which I created video for a family of six companies across the country. I’ve always loved watching a story come to life on screen; it’s even more fun when it’s a story I get to tell. Emotion, sound and silence - all are powerful for video and are some of my favorite details. When it comes to weddings, I pride myself on capturing authentic, candid moments.

I want to start by saying a little about me but then talk to you about you & your relationship! I knew my life was going to change when I started photography and videography. I fell in love with capturing special moments for families, couples & loved ones. Creating beautiful photos and videos on your wedding day is something I can't get enough of!

Hey, I'm Reed. First things first, I am a dog person, but cats are also pretty spectacular except for the fact that I am allergic to those cuties. Second things second, I'm a wedding filmmaker based out of Des Moines, Iowa (willing to travel anywhere) and I LOVE my job. I filmed my first wedding in 2018 and immediately fell in love with telling the unique story of each my couples. Creativity, flexibility, and FUN are at the forefront of what Reed Shepherd Films stands for. I strive for new adventures, friends, and making awesome memories.

Hi! My name is Ashley Archer, also known as 29 Films! I love sharing and capturing these big life moments in a way that keeps them fresh in our minds. My favorite part of wedding videography is hearing about the couples' unique love story and being able to capture that love on film. I love making people smile, traveling, spending time with those I love, and watching Rom Coms :) . I moved to the Des Moines area in 2020 and have been pursuing my passion of videography ever since! ​

𝕄𝕖𝕖𝕥 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕄𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟𝕤: 1. We LOVE our pets! Currently our home is filled with 3 cats, 1 dog and a turtle. The turtle was a wedding gift haha. 2. We love visiting National Parks. We typically took at least a week long camping trip to a park every year. We did miss last year due to a newborn baby and our plans to go to Acadia this year got axed (thanks COVID). But we will get back out there soon!
