Scars Farm is a grand event venue that has a host of areas for celebrations of all kinds. Its an idyllic 54-acre site that offers a large strawberry-shaped pond lined with palm trees and rolling green fields that overlook beautiful wildflowers on our lake, making it a unique and tranquil backdrop to your special day. Forever can start in our 5,000-square-foot monitor barn and 3,400-square-foot open barn that accommodates beautiful outdoor receptions. The rustic open barn offers views of our strawberry-shaped pond and palm trees, while the modern monitor barn is surrounded by 124ft of glass doors/windows and is the crown jewel of the property. There are multiple ceremony locations to choose from. Exchange vows under one of the magnificent trees overlooking our lake with seating arranged for your guests. The Sugar Barn is located on a 45-acre Ranch in Lake Wales, in Central Florida’s Polk County. The Whidden’s purchased the ranch in 2005 and have been developing the perfect location for your barn wedding, celebration, or corporate event. This unique venue is not an old converted barn but a beautiful new Montana Red Spruce structure with the warmth and character of a rustic setting, but with all the commercial amenities you need for a successful, comfortable, and elegant event. The barn has been built with soaring 45-foot ceilings and a stone fireplace, beautiful crystal chandeliers, a catering kitchen, and an oversized, 1200 sq ft bridal suite. Your guests will walk along the 120-foot bridge, across the stocked pond, to the Wild Orange ceremony location, which also features a restroom facility and a bachelor’s cottage. The orchard next to the barn grows sugar cane, thus lending to the name The Sugar Barn.

We started our Ranch in 2008 with just cattle. We built our house here in 2011 and in 2012 our son and daughter in law decided to have their wedding here. Since 2003, Oaks of Devonaire in Arcadia, FL has provided a tranquil setting where horses and cattle graze, butterflies flit through tropical flower-filled gardens, and Spanish moss drapes 200 year-old oak trees. Imagine a red horse barn on 20 beautiful country acres, complete with babbling creek, huge oak trees and tropical gardens. This location is perfect for Weddings or other events. Rustic Elegance at its finest. Includes two 12x12 air-conditioned changing rooms, two handicap accessible restrooms, outdoor dance floor, fire pit, ceremony site with bench seating, and tables and chairs for up to 150 people. $2,800 June-September, and $3,800 for October-May. This is for a three-day package. The day before for setup, decorating and the rehearsal, the day of, and the day after for cleanup.

Alabaster also features a beautiful outdoor platform under a 300-year oak tree with hanging chandeliers and LED lighting. Along with 2 beautiful gardens for pictures, first prayer or first look! Lakefront main fire pit, white canoe are included in your pledge. An outdoor shower is also available for the local community to enjoy.
