“Wow! DJ Lou exceeded our expectations! When it came to the reception we didn't have to do a thing but the preparation came months before that. We had an initial planning meeting, he set us up with our own timeline (an app that he created!), we had a follow-up meeting and then a week-of meeting! We felt so ready when the day came but were still so surprised about how much DJ Lou did for us. He was checking to see if we were okay, pulling us away to make sure we were eating, working with our other vendors so seamlessly- our ceremony musicians, our officiant, our family band, and our photographer! We had been to a wedding Gemma DJ-ed before and were glued to the dance floor the entire night, so we already had high expectations… but Kelton managed to surpass every single one. “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“Justin was a pleasure to work with from the initial interview to the last song at our wedding. Justin played with a three piece band for our ceremony (guitar, piano, bass) and cocktail hour (saxophone, piano, bass) and then DJ'd our reception. Justin made sure that the music played at our wedding and cocktail hour was tailored to specifically match the vibe of our dinner playlist. He even surprised us by playing one of our favorite Herbie Hancock tunes during cocktail hour. The vibe of the live jazz trio during cocktail hour was a perfect transition over to dinner. Justin then switched over to DJ our dinner and reception afterwards. He played all the right songs to keep the dance floor flowing all night. If you are seeking a combination of live music and DJ at your wedding I would highly recommend Skylark Music.”

“Booking DJ Ore was one of the best calls we made for our wedding. From our first phone call to the last song at 1am, he was on top of everything — quick to respond, organized, and genuinely invested in getting our day right. We got married at a camp in the Catskills with the ceremony out in the woods, which meant some tricky logistics: separate sound for the ceremony in the trees, load-in with the venue staff, a timeline that kept shifting on him. Ore handled all of it and we never had to think about any of it. The music was unreal, and he kept the dance floor packed the entire night. Our guests basically refused to leave it, and we honestly lost count of how many people came up to us throughout the night to say how good the music and the DJ were. The thing I'll always remember, though, is how he made space for my Tío to play. My Tío sang and played guitar, and Ore made sure he had everything he needed to do it right. He and Chris brought so much energy and just knew how to keep the room going. If you want a DJ who's professional, easy to talk to, and cares about your day, book him. Thank you for everything, Ore — you gave us a night we won't forget. Cannot recommend enough.”

“We got married in November at the Silver Bay YMCA, and we cannot recommend Scott and his team enough. We knew we wanted a live band for part of our wedding and they were the best band we could have chosen. Our first meeting with Scott we could tell he understood our wedding day vision right away and was willing to work with us on learning new music to fulfill our nerdy requests. For example the team learned acoustic versions of 90's alternative songs, and the groomsmen and bridal party walked down the aisle to Legend of Zelda, my wife walked down the aisle to Nightmare before Christmas, and then we recessed to Studio Ghibli. Cocktail hr, all our guests commented how amazing the band was and how they enjoyed the live music. “I'll add photos once I have them, but wow wow wow, Andrew and the band TOTALLY crushed it at my wedding! I didn't stop dancing the whole time, and at the end, my guests were shouting for an encore (which we got, which resulted in more shouts for more encores). They prepared a custom arrangement for my first dance that was absolutely perfect, and even threw in a rendition of Wonderwall near the end at my special request lol. Just the warmest, best band I could have asked for, and who completely blew me away day-of. 15/10.”

He made us feel more like his friend than a customer and he got to know us as a couple which made hiring him feel so good. “We truly could not have picked a better DJ. From the planning before the wedding until our wedding day came to an end everything was perfect! Their communication was outstanding. We never felt in the dark. Everytime we needed something or had any questions, we always received a response the same day. We definitely wanted a high energy , party vibe for our wedding and that is exactly what we got. Everyone was on the dance floor. Our MC read the room perfectly and had everyone dancing and out of their seats. He gave my husband and I the microphone and we sang and had the time of our lives. My sister and I even ended up in the DJ booth. The DJ was phenomenal. He played the right songs at the right time to keep the party going. All of our guests told us( whether it was during the reception or the following day) how great the DJ was and how much fun they had dancing the night away. “Music Masters are professional, organized, and a ton of fun! Terry is a pint-sized bottle of energy who gets people young and old dancing with her light-up shoes, crowd surfing, and dance moves! People were coming up to me during and after the wedding saying how much they loved Terry and wanting her for their wedding/wish they had her for theirs. Our DJ Lou was also great to work with, we had an idea for a 90’s/2000’s hour and gave a few songs we wanted and they came through with the most amazing playlist for the last hour of our wedding. Most songs we requested were played, he did not play a single song off our “do not play” list and he did an excellent job mixing songs from different eras. They called us the week of the wedding to go through the whole night and on the night-of our wedding Terry came and found us for any type of event or question. Also if you haven’t heard of Zap photography, look into it! They take pictures throughout the reception, specifically dancing photos (see photos below) and blow them up on two big screens during the wedding – it was another big hit/not seen at a ton of wedding. Plus you get the photos within days of the wedding. 5/5 stars for Music Masters!”

I am a NY-based Harpist with over 18 years of experience. I have been fortunate enough to play for dozens of professional events and weddings along the East Coast. I have performed at many different events, from weddings to corporate Holiday parties to tea parties to retirement parties. Some of the locations I have been lucky to perform include the Marriott Marquis in Times Square and The Willard Intercontinental in Washington D.C. Most recently I was selected to be a featured musician on an episode of the Drew Barrymore show!
