“I’ll start with we are the most last minute couple that ever lived. Cesar made what I thought would be the hardest thing so easy! Even when we had no idea what songs we wanted he asked for a vibe and executed beyond our wildest dreams. Let me just say, he knows all the right questions to figure out what you need, even when you didn’t know you needed it, and doesn’t make you feel bad when you text him at 10 pm saying you forgot to add a song. “Jonathon was awesome from day one. A very laid-back and chill energy made planning with him feel non-anxious. He made us feel like he had everything under control and that he knew when to accommodate us and when he could use his knowledge to make sure everyone had a great time. In the pre-ceremony, he mixed it up between some pre-selected songs I chose and played some live. I am a musician, so many of our family and friends that were in attendance are all musicians and singers. They all immediately were drawn to his smooth voice and incredible playing. The ceremony went great and had minimal to no tech issues, the sound was clear, he helped us incorporate our musician friends to play a song during the ceremony. He played our First Dance song live, and absolutely knocked it out of the park! We did a small choreographed dance to Love Like This by Ben Rector. His voice was perfect, and I was able to send him an edited version of the song that matched with our dance. He played it flawlessly and the moment was special for my wife and I, and for our guests. During the dinner, he played an acoustic set consisting of covers of 90s-2000s R&B songs, which were a huge hit with us and our guests. He played with a loop pedal and was able to simulate a full band with just his guitar and voice! He had some moving and grooving, singing along during dinner, while others were still able to hold a conversation without distraction. I gave him many songs to include in the dance portion of the night. And while he included MANY of my suggestions, he also knew when to throw in some crowd favorites to keep the party going. The dance floor was PACKED all night, the transitions between each song where seamless, and it became a fun game for my and my friends to try and guess what song he was cueing up next! My wife and I loved every musical moment of the evening, and it was exactly what we dreamed of for that day. All of our guests loved the music, and were so impressed not just with his professionalism and on stage banter with the crowd, but his musicality and rich voice. I have worked as a wedding musician for a few years, and as a gigging musician and singer for much longer. I have always feared that I would spend my wedding day judging the Wedding Band/DJ because of my high standards for live music. Jonathan blew every single one of those expectations out of the water, and he was such a breath of fresh air during a stressful period of wedding planning. I cannot recommend Jonathan Blake Salazar any more for your wedding. He is a dream to work with, and will do an incredible job performing, Emceeing, and DJing your special day!”

“He served as out DJ and MC but brought along Joey C to co-MC. With Lon on the mic and a second host working the crowd, the whole night had that high-energy club feel. The lighting, projectors and fog machines were fantastic, and he even created a "dancing on the clouds" effect for us. Our first dance as newlyweds felt truly magical. This is a DJ who genuinely wants you and your guests to have an incredible time, and he'll go the extra mile to make that happen. Lon exceeded every expectation, and it's obvious he loves what he does. Here's a comparison that really illustrates the difference between a great DJ and a bad one. The bad DJ (from a company with 500 reviews across Yelp, Thumbtack and other platforms): Two months before our wedding, we went to a friend's wedding handled by a different DJ, and it was a letdown. Despite receiving a list of requested songs - he ignored most of it. Rather than engaging with the guests, he mostly just hit play and disappeared to flirt with one of the servers. He'd also told the couple he wouldn't guest requests, yet caved every time someone approached him. By the end of the night, several songs had repeated two or three times. It makes you wonder if some of these companies pay to be featured on booking platforms and use that leverage to get negative reviews taken down. We later learned that the company had hired this DJ through Offerup for just 300 - clearly inexperienced. Do your research before booking a DJ. Some of these companies care more about profit than about whether their clients actually have a good time. The Great DJ - DJ Lon Lee: My husband and I have wide-ranging musical taste - EDM, R&B, Hip-Hop, Indie Rock, Cumbias, Reggaeton and more. As a bride who wanted every single song we asked for, respected our "must play" and "do not play" lists completely, and transitioned between them so smoothly it was unlike anything I'd heard at a wedding before. Whether it was the ceremony, recessional, entrances, cake cutting, dances, or the final song of the night, every cue landed exactly when it should have. I've already sent five friends who are planning their own weddings his way, and I'd hire him again without hesitation. One last story that sums up the night perfectly: several guests came to say their goodbyes at different points, only for us to spot them still dancing 30, 45, even an hour later. When I asked why they hadn't left yet, they told me "We couldn't, the songs were too good." Thank you, Lon, for helping make our day perfect.”

“We hired Dj MikeB for our wedding in North County San Diego. We were so grateful that he and his assistant, Joanne traveled to our wedding and helped us with having the best day ever! He was responsive from the start when I first inquired about his services. What stuck out to us was his level of professionalism including his website and having his packages clearly listed out, unlike other DJs we were looking into. In addition, what ultimately helped us decide to go with Dj MikeB was the fact that not only does he specialize with weddings, but he also DJs at nightclubs and we saw that he focuses on salsa/bachata which was important to us since my husband’s family is Mexican. He was able to read the crowd and kept our guests on the dance floor throughout our night! We wanted a variety of different music played and he was able to provide that. Also at the end of the night, we wanted our reception to turn into a mini rave which he was able to do! Dj MikeB and his assistant went out of their way to make sure we had a great time! He allowed us to come into the DJ booth and mess with the cdjs. Also, we later learned from our guests that they helped make sure her phone was charged and even brought her phone to her later.
