“Jeremy was the absolute perfect addition to my wedding. He was very easy and accommodating to work with. When I tell you that he was great… he was truly wonderful! He worked well with my day of coordinator and even my officiant who was my brother. No one else would’ve gotten me to karaoke “Where are you Christmas?” as an inside joke that my brother mentioned in his officiant speech. The songs were prompt and as requested. The Photo Booth was (chefs kiss), icing on the cake. The options for the Photo Booth pictures were abundant and lovely! And, our guests absolutely love the easy, self service Photo Booth. I would choose JD Entertainment again and again!!”

“Picking Jeff as our DJ was our easiest wedding decision — which was a welcome relief among so many decisions. Music was the biggest thing my husband was interested in for the wedding and his interactions with Jeff got him excited about wedding planning. I interviewed 4 other DJs and none of them came close to the quality service or value of price that Jeff did. Every other DJ was a scripted phone call, or I felt that they didn’t actually listen to my information or questions. I met Jeff in person and could tell instantly he was our DJ. He was personable, flexible in meeting time (I was coming from out of state), and came prepared. He already had a list of questions ready to better understand what we wanted, walked me through his process, showed me his paperwork (which you can start working on immediately after booking, was super helpful for us). He took the time to get our details right and connect to us as a couple. He was always early, prepared (complete with backups), and integrated smoothly with the other vendors. We were a smidge delayed from photos and he checked in with us in a way that kept us relaxed and kept things fun for the guests. The way dinner and photos were structured could have been a big boring gap in our reception, if he hadn’t helped us figure out how to fill that time with interaction and then executed it perfectly. Our guests really liked his personality and that our favorite songs were played on the dance floor. The lights made the party!!! Other DJs were charging double his prices for less quality equipment and service, so the value can’t be matched. Definitely recommending Apex to all!”

“My husband and I were trying to plan a wedding/reception while living away from Louisville. We had to do everything via phone and email. Then COVID-19 hit. We changed our venue. “Don was the perfect DJ! Prior to the event, he scheduled multiple calls to meet us & understand exactly what we were looking for. He has an online portal where we could input our requested songs for key events (i.e. ceremony, cake cutting, etc.), & this portal also had a section for you to identify the songs you really love & songs you like. The day of the wedding, he executed perfectly. He helped keep the reception flowing seamlessly, interacted with guests, & most importantly was able to keep the dance floor going all night. We got so many compliments from our guests saying how wonderful he was & how much fun they had thanks to him. We can't recommend him enough!”

“We always ranked the music as the number one priority for our wedding, and we’re so glad we entrusted David Rothstein Band to bring our party to life. Planning a wedding during Covid had many challenges, including not being able to see the band live, but thankfully, David has so many live videos available where we can see the entertainment his band delivers day in and day out. Those videos, along with David’s passion for his work, made us confident to chose his team to make our day special. For our wedding, we had a classical duo during the ceremony, a pianist during cocktail hour, a jazz trio during dinner, and an incomparable 10 piece orchestra to dance the night away. From the first note to the final encore, we were BLOWN AWAY with the talent and energy that the band brought. We had a few special requests for the night - from a unique arrangement for our ceremony processional to a mashup of New York songs during the reception - and David’s team was beyond accommodating. We had dancing for 3 hours straight and not once did anyone leave the floor - the band was able to feel the energy in the room and chose the right song for the moment. I stumbled across the ingoing setlist after the party and was actually surprised to see that the band didn’t even stick to the songs they had picked - a sign that they adjusted based on what the crowd was loving. It’s been nearly a month since the big day and people keep telling us how amazing the music was, and we can’t stop watching the many videos David took from the night, reliving the magic that his band created.
