“We had Rich and Felicity as our hair stylists and Maddie as our makeup artist. These folks were amazing on the day, stayed on schedule and were able to deliver great looks with humid weather. My main reason for going 4 stars is the booking and communication ahead of time was a little sparse, it can be confusing to use the Bluebird form and I had to be the one to reach out to ask for stylist contacts ahead of time to discuss how the day would go. There also is not a lot of artist-specific portfolio work to reference on their site. I probably would have preferred to book direct with the artists if it was possible.”

“Natalie was a wonderful part of our wedding day! She did several bridesmaids hair & makeup, my husbands hair and light cover up, and my hair & makeup. I also did a trial with her. Before my own wedding, I had been a bridesmaid in about 6 weddings and gotten my hair & makeup done and Natalie by far gave me the best makeup I have ever had. She really listened to me and my preferences, even the things I felt like were specific. I also loved doing my trial with her, I was able to see how the makeup stayed long term and I was amazed that things did not crease or smudge like they usually do. I loved the unique features she offered like airbrushing and individual eyelashes which both look so natural. I felt very natural and like myself but also so beautiful and elegant. She also did my husbands hair and did light airbrushing to make him feel his best. He loved the outcome and it made him very confident for his big day. Lastly, she was great to work with overall before the event and very professional. She had knowledge of my venue and the times they allow for makeup and hair and was able to give me great suggestions. She organized my timelines for bridesmaids and helped things run so smoothly. “Sarah was absolutely amazing! From our very first message to the wedding day itself, she knocked it out of the park. She was super responsive, clear with communication, and I really appreciated her upfront pricing. The makeup trial was so easy. She came to me and took time to look at the photos I had and listened to what I wanted and asked plenty of questions when I couldn’t quite describe what I wanted. I had a few tweaks I wanted to make after the trial and she nailed every single one. The morning of the wedding, she made me feel totally at ease. I wanted a more natural makeup look but was having trouble explaining exactly what that meant to me but she was able to interpret what I wanted exactly. She even coordinated directly with my hair stylist, which was one less thing for me to stress about. My makeup lasted all day (through happy tears *and* our second line parade!), and made me feel beautiful. All of my pictures turned out amazing. I seriously can’t recommend Sarah enough. Just book her already—you’ll be so glad you did!”

Makeup by Santana was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day! She did my hair and makeup, as well as my fiancé’s hair, and I was so happy to find someone who offered services for the groom too—something I didn’t see often while searching. She was incredibly fast and helpful when it came to communication, answering all my questions and putting me at ease right from the start. On the day of the wedding, she made me feel so comfortable while getting ready and was very attentive to making sure I was happy with the look. She encouraged me to speak up if I wanted anything changed, which I really appreciated—it made the experience feel very collaborative and relaxed. Since I got ready alone for the elopement, it meant a lot that she also helped me with my dress and veil. As someone who never wears more than some mascara, she really allowed me to still feel natural and like myself while highlighting my features and ensuring my make up would photograph well. In fact, she did such a great job with make up for me and my bridesmaids that my step-mom (who typically hates getting her make up done) added that service day of!
