Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll confirm availability and provide information about my services and booking process. If your date is available, we can move forward with securing it with a deposit and start booking your trial. My signature style focuses on enhancing natural beauty, gravitating toward radiant, healthy-looking skin, soft definition, and balanced tones that photograph beautifully. I often work with brides who don’t want a cookie-cutter approach and prefer something more personal—whether that means skipping foundation, avoiding glitter or shimmer, keeping the skin dewy and minimal, or even going without lashes. The same philosophy applies to brides who want something more high impact, like a red lip or heavier coverage. The goal is always the same: strip away what bridal makeup is “supposed” to be and provide a wedding makeup that reflects you.
What sets me apart is my focus on both the final look and the overall experience. I prioritize clear communication so that you're confident at every step. Each makeup look is thoughtfully customized to enhance your unique features and personal style, and I place strong emphasis on timelines so your morning runs smoothly. My goal is to handle the details and preparation well in advance so that as your wedding day approaches, everything is already taken care of. Decision fatigue is real as the date gets closer, and your glam time should be a moment to relax, feel taken care of, and enjoy the calm before the celebration.
I love being a part of weddings no matter where they take place, and I’m happy to travel anywhere to make your day special. Travel fees may apply depending on the distance, but I’m always willing to work with you to make it happen. Whether your wedding is in a completely different city, or a destination wedding in a different state or country, I’ll do my best to accommodate your location. Being there on-site allows me to provide a smooth and relaxed experience for you and your bridal party. No matter where your wedding is, my goal is to ensure you feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful on your big day.
I work as a one-woman team, which allows me to focus fully on each client and provide a detailed, personalized experience. Because of this, I can accommodate the bride plus up to four additional guests. This ensures that everyone receives my full attention and that the morning runs smoothly and on time.

    Amazing Indian Bridal Makeup!

    Sammy did an incredible job with my bridal makeup for my Indian wedding. As someone with a medium-to-dark skin tone wearing a multicolored lehenga, I wasn’t sure what makeup look would complement everything without feeling overdone. From our very first chat, Sammy took the time to understand my preferences and walked me through different options, explaining what would best suit my features, outfit, and duration of the event. She didn’t place pressure on me and truly made the experience collaborative. On the wedding day, she brought such a calming, reassuring energy to the room, that was otherwise chaotic. Out of the many things I was worried about, working with Sammy elevated any stress I had about my makeup. My makeup looked perfect and looked exactly how I wanted it to on the pictures. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better artist! I would recommend Sammy to any bride, especially those who have darker skin tones like mine.

    Sammy is a pro!

    Sayoki Studio was absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish. Sammy took the time to understand my olive skin tone and worked patiently with me through multiple consultations to nail down exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. Her makeup application was flawless and held up beautifully, even after 14 hours of wear. When my hair didn’t turn out as expected the morning of the wedding, I was pretty distraught. Sammy jumped in without hesitation to fix my makeup and make sure everything was perfect before the ceremony. Her kindness and support during that stressful moment meant the world to me and helped me get back to feeling excited about the day. I couldn’t recommend her more!

    Do not hesitate— just book with Sammy!

    Sammy is truly the best wedding makeup artist in the Bay Area. I was hesitant to book a makeup artist because my skin tone is difficult to match, and contour often makes me look gray or ashy. Sammy’s expertise in color completely put me at ease—she knew exactly what shades and techniques would work best for my skin, and the result was flawless. It was the most beautiful I’ve ever felt. She genuinely listened to what I wanted, took the time to prep my skin properly before application, and made sure everything looked perfect. Beyond her talent, Sammy is incredibly kind, professional, and easy to work with, which made the entire experience stress-free on such an important day. I would book her again in a heartbeat and cannot recommend her enough to future brides.

    Wedding Makeup Glam

    My friend had hired her to do her wedding glam a couple years ago and she had also done the glam for the bridesmaids as well (I was a bridesmaid). She was so great that I had decided to hire her to do my own glam for my wedding day and let me tell you she was AMAZING. The professionalism was top notch. She communicates very well and is timely. She is so knowledgeable and really knows how to work with all skin types as well as different skin tones (my bridal party is very diverse). I'll admit I was a bit difficult and had kept changing my mind and was unsure of what type of makeup I wanted for my wedding but Sammy was really patient and helped me narrow down what I really wanted even when I couldn't exactly convey what I was trying to go for during our trials. One thing I will also note is that she is SUPER organized and CLEAN. I am a bit of a germaphobe and everything about her kit and her process was sanitary. Absolutely amazing experience with her. She made me feel soooo beautiful on my wedding day. I highly recommend her. Thank you SO much Sammy!
