“TLDR Fantastic day of coordinator and staff Food is still being raved about Dry town doesn't mean dry wedding Add the Pent House for getting ready and night after Amazing value perfect for 50-70 guests I truly can not say enough nice things about the port o call hotel and staff. We had a beautiful wedding on the beach and then came into the hotel for the reception. The views from the dinning room are amazing. K (Food and beverage manager/day of coordinator) was absolutely amazing to work with. I could always reach him when needed and he made the entire event run smoothly. He even helped to fix a few last minute disasters due to my lack of planning. The servers Savannah, Sierra, and Sarah were so attentive. No one ever had an empty plate or glass. The appatizers just kept coming. We did the pasta station for cocktail hour and it was such a hit. Guests kept going up for kids and no one panic ate. Usually wedding food is kind of meh. We did a tasting with my mom and MOH and when I tasted the steak... Oh my gosh I was day dreaming about it. So many guest raved an raved about the food. They were accommodating of gluten free, allergies, vegan/vegetarian guests. The girls even remembered peoples preferences from breakfast the morning before. All of my guests felt special and pampered. The port o call delivered that resort wedding feel that I was hoping for. If you're considering Ocean City NJ for your wedding I 10000% say pick here!! My pro tip is add the Pent house. We had so much room for getting ready and having breakfast. Even my videographer was impressed. He said this was the best getting ready space he'd ever seen. Multiple bathrooms a kitchen just made everything so much less cramped and we had a good stress free flow. The night after it was so romantic to sit on the porch and then get cozy by the fire. Im so so glad we added it on and plan to return for anniversaries.”

“The Flanders was a wonderful experience from start to finish!! We got married on New Year’s Eve and we will not be able to top any NYE to follow! Lisa and Molly were so great to work with! Molly was great with communicating all the details and answering all our questions! Lisa walked us through everything from food to table settings to order of the night. The food was PHENOMENAL! Everyone raved and still raves about the variety of food, the quality, the cocktail hour and ending the night with Taste of the Boardwalk. If you go hungry, it’s your own fault! The service there was second to none. Joanne and her staff were wonderful and were always anticipating our thoughts. We stayed at Flanders during that weekend. The Promenade suites made it so easy to get ready and access the Ballrooms. Our guests and bridal party stayed in the regular suites and loved each room! Highly recommend going with their list of recommended vendors, it makes everything so much easier. Getting married at The Flanders was always my dream and I cannot recommend it more to others!!”

“Oh my goodness where do I begin?! The experience of having our wedding at Resorts Casino has been nothing short of amazing. Nancy is an absolute treasure and pleasure to work with from start to finish. With the help of Anthony they turned our magical day into an absolute dream that not only we enjoyed but all of our guest. We had a serious loss in our family two months before our wedding and Nancy took a lot of weight off of our shoulders and came up with solutions to help us get through the day. Nancy and he team are there for you every step of the way and make you feel like royalty, treating you like gold. In a historic place like Resorts casino is a great place to have a wedding for not only the old school Atlantic City feel but the food and hospitality is out of this world. “We were searching for the perfect venue to host an intimate and special wedding celebration dinner in Cape May -one of our favorite beach towns - and Peter Shields Inn exceeded every expectation. Beautifully located just across the street from the beach in Cape May, NJ, the setting alone is stunning and full of charm. They graciously accommodated our group of 30 guests in their Brides Room for a private dinner, and despite the smaller wedding size, it felt every bit as meaningful, elegant, and memorable as a larger wedding celebration. We were able to bring in our own wedding cake and have on-site photography, which made the evening feel even more personal and special. Our guests also enjoyed relaxing on the porch with cocktails while my husband and I took photos on the beach. It was such a lovely and seamless experience. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, but the event coordinator, Amy, truly went above and beyond. She was absolutely spectacular; always prompt, thorough, and thoughtful in her communication. She connected us with outstanding local vendors: Khalil for piano, Tim Joyce for photography, Cape Winds Florist for centerpieces, and Bake Works for our cake. Every single vendor she recommended was exceptional and easy to work with.  Amy also ensured that all dietary restrictions were handled with care and kindness, and she went out of her way to help set everything up in advance so that we could simply arrive, relax, and fully enjoy our time with our loved ones. Her patience, professionalism, and genuine care made the entire process stress-free and truly enjoyable. This was truly a 10/10 experience for us. We highly recommend Peter Shields Inn to anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate, and unforgettable setting to celebrate a marriage or special occasion. It was everything we hoped for and more.”

“I recently got married at the Chalfonte Hotel this past June. It was the most magical day. From the serene beauty of the Willow Tree garden to the simple elegance of the Magnolia Room, everything about the day was perfect. Of course, everyone loved having cocktail hour on the porch, which is personally my favorite part of the hotel. Even before and after the wedding family and friends loved getting together on the porch, having a cocktail, and just enjoying Cape May. I cannot begin to express how kind and amazing the staff are at the Chalfonte. Planning a wedding can definitely feel overwhelming but Ellie was so helpful and communicative every step of the way. Any ideas that we had about how we wanted the day to go she was so receptive to. She made sure that everything we had envisioned was there on our wedding day. If you want a wedding somewhere that is naturally beautiful, fun, and perfectly located, I highly recommend booking you wedding at the Chalfonte Hotel.”

“I cannot say enough amazing things about the Inn of Cape May and our experience having our wedding there. From the very beginning, the entire team made the process feel so easy and stress-free, but Jeri Anne truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. Jeri Anne was absolutely fantastic. She took care of every detail, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything came together exactly how I pictured it. Being able to drop off our wedding items ahead of time was such a huge help, and knowing that Jeri Anne and her team were handling everything gave me so much peace of mind. I would recommend the Inn of Cape May to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with a team that truly cares about their couples. Conveniently located near Atlantic City, the bridge to Long Beach Island and the New Jersey Shore, LBI National brings weddings, dining, accommodations and weekend activities together in one memorable destination.

“I don’t even know where to begin! Our wedding was 5/18/25 but we planned it for over a year and a half. From the beginning, Stephanie was so warming and really drew us into the beautiful venue as it was still under renovation. She made the booking process so simple and showed us nothing but kindness. In the midst of the waiting period of planning, Caitlin became the new venue coordinator who was our go to girl for everything. Anything I threw at her, wanted to change, or was concerned about, Caitlin handled with happiness and ease. She answered a million and one emails from me, met with me multiple times and really helped my vision come to life. I can’t say enough about her because Caitlin really did run the show from the moment we began working together to the very end of our wedding weekend. She helped plan and organize our rehearsal dinner, morning after brunch, and stuck by our sides from the morning of our wedding to the end of our after party (at 2 am the following morning). She was involved in every single step of the decorating and events that took place on our wedding day and I don’t know how would it have all been executed without her. Caitlin is the real MVP of our wedding and I can’t thank her enough for all of the help and kindness she showed toward myself, my husband, and our families. Like I said, anything I threw at her, she handled and took care of with a smile. She really is the best The rest of the staff, Scott, Maddie, and Avery were amazing during our wedding weekend as well. Scott was so kind and helped my family in any way possible with the room bookings and Maddie and Avery also stuck aside mine and my husband’s side to make sure we were okay throughout the day. The staff was all in all, so attentive, kind, and helpful throughout the entire wedding day. Anything we needed, they were all there to help. As far as the wedding, guests are still raving about how beautiful the grounds were and how delicious all of the food was. The bartenders and servers were all so amazing as well. I cannot recommend and thank everybody at LBI National enough for the most amazing wedding day we could have.”

“Truly no words can capture how amazing our experience with Hotel LBI was. Exactly one month out from our wedding date, our original venue called to tell us they could no longer host our wedding. As fate would have it, Hotel LBI had our date available, and it ended up being the best thing to happen to us. From the very first panicked phone call to Donna, she turned what was a stressful time into a dream experience. She was so empathetic to our situation, willing to work with us, and up for the challenge of putting our wedding together in under 30 days. Every interaction was kind, professional, and encouraging. The entire planning process was seamless despite the time crunch we were in. She makes you feel like you’re the only and most important couple she is working with. We absolute love her!! On the day of, everything went better than we could have imagined. The venue was beautiful, the staff is amazing, and the food is great. The bridal assistant Leah is a super hero. She was by my side all day, with a fanny pack that always had whatever random item I found myself needing. Due to some happy tears, my make up smudged a bit. Not only did she race up to the room to grab my make up bag, she redid the area for me and saved the day. I also spilled espresso martini down my dress minutes before the ceremony, and she quickly got the stain out before I even had time to process it. Vinny our maître D was also there every second with a smile, drinks for us, and asking what we needed. They are truly the best of the best. Our only regret is not booking with Hotel LBI from the beginning. What started as a nightmare, turned into the best day of our lives thanks to Donna and the Hotel LBI staff. I will never forget them”

“I genuinely don't think there are enough words to express how incredible our experience at Stratus Lounge was. Our wedding day was everything we could have ever dreamed of and so much more, and we owe so much of that to the extraordinary team who made it all happen. From the very beginning, we felt like we were in the best hands. Every detail was handled with such care, thoughtfulness, and professionalism, allowing us to be completely present and soak in every moment of the most special day of our lives. Our coordinator, Breanna, was absolutely phenomenal. Her attention to detail, organization, and dedication to making our day perfect did not go unnoticed. Having someone we could trust so completely made all the difference, and we are beyond grateful for everything she did. She answered every single email or call immediately and accommodated all of my crazy requests with a smile on her face. I truly do not know how we would have done anything without her and her guidance. We also have to give the biggest shoutout to Bernardo, who was assigned specifically to us as the bride and groom throughout the evening. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about him. His level of attentiveness and thoughtfulness was unlike anything we have ever experienced. He somehow always knew exactly what we needed before we even realized it ourselves. Our drinks were never more than half empty before he appeared with fresh ones, and he went so far above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. One of the most thoughtful things he did was bring us to private areas where he had already prepared individual dinner plates for us, carefully accommodating our dietary restrictions. In the middle of such a busy, exciting evening, having someone make sure we actually had a moment to sit, eat, and enjoy ourselves meant more than we can express. Those seemingly small gestures made an enormous impact, and we will never forget his kindness. The venue itself was absolutely stunning, but what truly makes Stratus Lounge exceptional is its people. Every interaction made us feel genuinely cared for, never like we were just another wedding on the calendar. The level of service, hospitality, and attention to detail was simply unmatched. We are still overwhelmed with gratitude for how seamlessly everything came together. Our guests had an incredible time, and we were able to enjoy our wedding without a single worry because we knew we were being taken care of. If we could relive our wedding day a thousand times, we would choose Stratus Lounge every single time. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough. To Breanna, Bernardo, and the entire Stratus Lounge team: thank you for giving us memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives. You didn't just help us host a wedding; you helped create the most magical day of our lives. If you are considering Stratus Lounge for your wedding, book it. You will not find a team that cares more about making your day unforgettable”

“We booked out the Guild House for two nights during our wedding weekend, and it was one of the very best decisions we made throughout the entire planning process. We used the space to get ready before the wedding, for our after party, and for a brunch the following morning. The staff was there for anything we needed, and then stayed out of the way so the place felt like it was all ours. You truly have the entire place to yourself, and it feels like an enormous home for you and your closest friends/family rather than a hotel. The rooms are some of the most luxurious in the city, and easily the best for the price. 10/10 would recommend incorporating the Guild House into any part of your wedding weekend.”

“We held our wedding reception at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in November 2024 as well as hosted our wedding room block. We'd highly recommend for both! We have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about Andreea Denes with catering. We've worked with Andreea for about a year and a half now and she feels like family! Andreea is both professional and personable and ensured we knew all our options for a reception at the Loews. Andreea helped us take advantage of all the amazing event spaces the Loews has to offer (cocktail hour on the 33rd floor, reception in the Millennium Hall, after party in Bank & Bourbon) as well as created a custom package for our reception and cocktail hour that reflected everything we could have wanted. Maria and Lena with the room reservation teams were so wonderful to work with, taking amazing care of our families and accommodating all our changes and requests. The entire Loews staff (catering, concierge, front desk, etc) was absolutely wonderful during our stay. Our guests are still commenting on the exceptional service. About a third of our wedding guests stayed at the Loews and expressed it was the perfect location to spend the weekend exploring Philadelphia.”

“We didn’t want a wedding that’s overly complicated to plan so the Loews Hotel wedding package was perfect for us. It included almost everything - venues, accommodation, food & bev, wedding cake, parking. Hosting big events is what they do so we knew we were in good hands. For AV/lighting, Loews’ preferred partner is Encore, but we decided to go with a third-party vendor to save on cost. (1) Venues The venues were beautiful. The ceremony and cocktail hour was on the 33rd floor, which offered gorgeous views of Philadelphia. It was freshly renovated, so the spaces looked new and modern. The reception was in the Millennium Hall, which was just breathtaking. We’ve seen it several times, but to see it dressed up exceeded our expectations. In addition to this, we got access to the small conference rooms as holding areas for us, our things/packages, and our performer. (2) Wedding Day Debbie was the catering manager from the hotel. We worked closely with her and our planner/coordinator to plan the whole thing. Let me tell you: Debbie is fierce! The day of our wedding, she was the first to knock on our door with a bottle of champagne and muffins (to make sure we eat). By the way, wherever we were the day of our wedding, there was always food and water waiting for us. She devised a system to help us manage our alcohol throughout the day to make sure we’re feeling good but not too drunk. Every 5-10mins, someone was asking us if we needed anything. At one point when we were feeling a bit tired, we asked for sugar-free red bull, and someone went to the store to get it for us. We truly felt the care from the hotel staff and crew. The day went by flawlessly. (3) Food The food was delicious, from hors d’oeuvres, appetizers, and main dishes. We had a food tasting months prior, and they allowed us to make specific changes to the menu and the dishes. (4) Accommodation Another reason we chose the Loews is that we had a lot of guests traveling from other states and countries, so it’s important to have one space for everyone. It made it easy for people to stay late and not have to worry about driving home. The room block was great. Our honeymoon suite, and our parents’ rooms were part of the wedding package. Shaniya and her team helped us with booking, and were flexible with all our requests. Overall, the Loews provided us everything we needed, and more. This is what they do and they do it exceptionally well.”

“The Hotel Palomar went above and beyond for our wedding weekend in the spring. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and morning after brunch as well as our room block at the hotel. The even coordinator, Erin S. and the entire team involved went above and beyond every step of the way. Five months before our wedding, I had to have major surgery and quarantine for two – three months after. I was unable to attend our food tasting but my fiancé and both sets of parents went on my behalf. Erin was not only understanding but supportive as my own family and friends were – checking in and celebrating with me after the surgery. When the tasting came, the chef sent home full-sized portions for me to try at home. This was in addition to the full-sized ones my family tried as well. The entire staff was there to answer any questions from me or our family. We had several dietary restrictions which Erin coordinated with the chef on our behalf to make sure those guests were included without having to worry. We had a memorial table as well as several things to be set out (guest book, favors, name cards, etc.). I gave all these items to the team and it was fully taken care of for me and they even knew which favors were to be for gluten free guests. Erin provided a list of pre-approved vendors they had worked with before (we didn’t have to use these) and we ended up using a lot of them. Erin coordinated with them directly as needed, photography locations for if it rained and DJ timeline. Due to the top tier efforts of the entire hotel, we were AHEAD of schedule the entire weekend which really allowed everyone to be fully present. My bridal party and I were in the suite for preparations and they continued to go above and beyond. We had a team member bring us our food and coffee order and he was so accommodating. He brought iced coffee when I mentioned that’s my preferences and we talked about our pets since I had my dog with me (as did several of our guests). Our guests were also well taken care of – from unpacking cars for their stays to helping our vendors get to their locations. I would sit here and list every name of every person that I felt were stars but honestly, it was the entire team. Everyone I encountered the whole time was a five star person. I cannot recommend this location enough for any occasion including just a regular weekend stay in Philadelphia.”

“We held our September 2025 wedding reception at The Rittenhouse. The food was excellent, the space looked beautiful, and the service on the wedding day was wonderful. Our dedicated server was spectacular both during our tasting and at the reception—attentive, warm, and one of the true standouts of our experience. The planning process was more challenging. Even after Jarret and I specifically asked to be included directly in decisions, communication often continued through our planner. This was especially frustrating because our planner was not providing the level of attentiveness promised, making direct communication with the venue even more important. We were also supposed to meet with the pastry team, but that meeting never happened. Although the cake tasted good, its appearance fell short of what we envisioned and felt like an afterthought in the overall design. After the wedding, aside from a congratulatory email that included our paid folios, no one meaningfully followed up to ask about our experience or invite feedback. Given the level of the event and The Rittenhouse’s reputation for luxury hospitality, we found that surprising. Overall, the culinary and banquet teams delivered an excellent reception, and our guests were very well cared for. We are grateful for the beautiful celebration, while believing the communication, pastry-design process, and post-event follow-up could have been much stronger.”

“The Fitler Club was a fantastic choice for our daughters wedding venue which was held Memorial Day weekend. From the very beginning, their communication was quality, professional, and timely - they were a pleasure to work with. The staff was top-notch, going above and beyond to ensure our special day went off without a hitch. The venue itself offered multiple beautiful settings for pictures, and the flow of the event was perfectly spaced out. We couldn't have asked for a better value for the exceptional service and stunning backdrop they provided. We highly recommend the Fitler Club to any couple looking for a stress-free, beautiful wedding experience. The food was all 5 star in appearance and taste. Not only was it a wedding but a family reunion and worth every penny.”

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water. History buffs fall in love with venues like Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange with its historic grounds and Mediterranean gardens. Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.

How Much Should You Budget for a New Jersey Wedding?

Wedding venues in New Jersey typically run between $8,600 and $10,600, which falls right in line with the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your overall costs will scale with your guest count. A 50-person celebration averages around $25,059 while stepping up to 100 guests pushes that to $41,588. These figures help you set realistic expectations as you start planning.
