We are an upscale wedding venue with both inside and outside seating located directly on picturesque Lake Ontario with our 1600 square foot dock over it. The Barrack’s Inn stone center building was the first building built in the War of 1812 to be the bakery. It is on the historic national register. Inside we can seat 150 people, while outside we can seat an additional 100 people. We are happy to make any and all food requests and we feature all-inclusive packages which include: flowers, table decorating, music, photography, cake and desserts, ceremony, favors and all food and beverages.

Stissing House is one of the oldest taverns in America, located at the crossroads of the village of Pine Plains in the heart of Dutchess County. It’s 90 minutes from New York City, and 30 minutes south of Hudson. It has hosted feasts for generations. Downstairs, intimate dining rooms and fireside lounges are ideal for parties of 8-10 people. Upstairs, the oldest Dutch Colonial ballroom in America is designed for long-table dinners and weddings of 25-150 people. Gather your friends and family for pitchers of shandy and wood fired eggs the day before or morning after your party. Chef/Proprietor Clare de Boer cooks food that is generous and has a sense of place. Ingredients come from surrounding farms and are prepared simply on the tavern’s mammoth hearth. The eggs are laid today, the butter is homemade, and the food is for feasting.

The restored dairy barn built in 1828 on a 100 acre, family ran, historic venue with modern-day amenities is nestled in the Hudson Valley, NY. It can host up to 150 guests comfortably inside the barn, with additional space on the deck for cocktail hour and an adjacent lawn area for your ceremony. There is also an additional lounge seating area if some of your guests would like to relax with a bit of quiet time. Antique chandeliers accent the hardwood floors, walls and beams providing the rustic character that compliments the temperature controlled AC and heat to enable us to provide year-round events. In addition to the barn, deck, and ceremony space, the onsite 4 bedroom (7 queen beds) restored farmhouse is included in the venue for the weekend. A Friday check in enables you to prepare yourself for the big day and set up the space in the barn with any decor. The house is yours for the entire weekend for up to 8 guests. It works perfectly as a bridal suite for everyone to get ready.

Wyndcrest Estate Venue is set up a bit differently, which is something we pride ourselves on! We are exclusive in the sense that we host only one wedding a weekend and we give wedding parties the entire weekend to enjoy their big day! This includes the day before for set up and rehearsal, the day of for the event, and the day after for cleanup. Additionally, onsite housing allows for the parties to gather throughout the entire weekend. We do not have a preferred list of caterers, in order to allow you to chose however you would like to celebrate your wedding. Hello! We're Natalie and Aldo, the couple behind Silas House Inn and Barn. Silas House is a historic dairy farm and house in the Catskill Mountains of New York. The home has lived many lives and in summer 2024, we reopened it as a boutique B&B. The Barn is 5,000 sqft of event space with the lower barn fully renovated and staged for your next event. The upper lofted barn will see further modernization in Spring 2024 and is the perfect reception and indoor ceremony space. Behind the barn is two acres of sprawling lawn including raised bed gardens and mountain views. We're so excited to share Silas with couples in 2025 and beyond!
