While spending the largest part of those years as a photojournalist, editorial photographer and wedding photographer. I have been honored to receive multiple local and national awards along the way. It was in those areas where I honed my skills to be put into any situation and come out with images that tell a beautiful story.

My love for photography is my passion. I take it with me everywhere I go, I capture pictures of my daily life and I print those pictures once a month, I know it will be worth it when I'm old and look back at life. Being a wedding photographer is a very emotional/technical thing, it is a challenge to create technically correct, well-composed, perfectly lit, beautiful images all day long, every weekend. When I was old enough to pick up a photo album, I fell in love with photography. Not in the way that most people do…. I was obsessed with seeing the past and freezing it, and not with learning how to shoot a fancy camera and equipment. I did not have a real camera until I went to Photography School. All of my birthday and babysitting money was spent on disposable cameras and developing them at Walmart. You know girl paid extra for that one hour photo. I was and still am amazed that you can freeze time for generations to see. It’s more important to me than ever, now that I have two children to show our family history to.
