“Where do I start with Fox Meadow Barn and the owner, Dixie?! From my first tour, Dixie was incredibly accommodating. Due to the venue being 2 hours away from me and the fall being peak season, I needed to tour during the week around 7:00 PM. Unfortunately, my husband couldn’t make that tour and I was unable to FaceTime him. Once again, Dixie accommodated us and let us do a self-guided tour the day before Thanksgiving. Just like me, my husband immediately loved it and wanted to call Dixie to book. We needed to come home and look at some more details before moving forward and Dixie never once pressured us. I reached out to 100 venues across Virginia, DC, and Maryland, and many people were focused on sales and made me feel like just a number. Dixie made me feel like family! After booking, Dixie provided me with a ton of resources — a day of timeline example, a spreadsheet with vendors for everything imaginable, photos, and videos. No matter how many times I emailed or texted, Dixie responded within hours or less. She made being a DIY bride and planning my own wedding a breeze! In fact, because of Dixie and how much I enjoyed planning my wedding, I am strongly considering entering the wedding industry part time as a planner or coordinator. I cannot recommend Dixie and Fox Meadow Barn enough! I was not a barn bride until discovering Fox Meadow Barn. It is absolutely gorgeous!”

“I honestly can't say enough amazing things about The Antrim 1844 Hotel! We had the most incredible wedding experience here, and I'm so grateful we found this gem. We actually heard about Antrim from a coworker whose family had their wedding there last spring. It wasn't even on our radar before that, but now I can't imagine our wedding taking place anywhere else! During our planning process, we got to see so many different weddings they were hosting, and I was blown away by their unique ability to make everything from small intimate gatherings to expansive celebrations not just work, but work beautifully! They really know how to adapt to each couple's vision. Working with Jill was such a joy! She made the entire planning process feel effortless and actually fun. She was so flexible with all our changes and took the time to walk us through backup plans for weather, which gave us such peace of mind knowing we were covered no matter what. We got lucky with lovely weather and got married in their rose garden, and oh my goodness - it was so breathtakingly gorgeous that we barely needed to add any decorations! The natural beauty spoke for itself and created the most romantic, dreamy backdrop for our vows. Having so many family members and friends traveling to join us, the wedding weekend stay option was a game-changer! The complimentary breakfast for overnight guests was such a thoughtful touch - it meant everyone could wake up together and start each day without any stress about finding food. It really made the whole wedding weekend feel like one big family celebration. The bridal suite in the main mansion was absolutely perfect for getting ready! There was space for our entire wedding party plus my mom and friends to get ready together, and it provided the most beautiful backdrop for photos. We got so many stunning getting-ready shots in that gorgeous space! The food was absolutely delicious - both during our tasting and on the big day! Our guests are still raving about it. The team worked so seamlessly with all our other vendors too, making sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. We were thrilled about the veterans discount, which let us add some extra special touches like a dessert bar, upgraded appetizers, and shade canopies for the ceremony. They made it so easy to customize everything within our budget. Every single guest has told us what an amazing time they had, and we're already excited to come back for anniversaries! We've heard their holiday decorations are absolutely spectacular, so we're definitely planning a winter visit. If you're looking for a venue that combines stunning natural beauty, incredible service, amazing food, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day perfect, The Antrim 1844 Hotel is IT. We couldn't have asked for a more magical place to start our life together!”
