“My wedding was 2 days ago, and I cannot say enough about Jackie and Blooms by JG. Hire her immediately. From my first call with Jackie almost a year ago, she immediately got my vision. She was so easy to work with and really listened to what I wanted. I told Jackie, "I just want it to look like I went outside, picked a bunch of random flowers, and stuck them in a vase....in February." And boy did she deliver. I sent over a few inspo photos, and my flowers looked better than the inspiration pictures. All night, guests came up to me and said how beautiful the bouquets were, and I honestly wish I could have mine fresh all year round.. it's just that beautiful. Jackie did the set up for my tables, and they looked better than I can imagine. The corsage was gorgeous, boutonnieres were gorgeous, everything was gorgeous! I considered silk flowers but then stumbled across wood flowers and I was immediately sold on the idea. At the time there weren’t many ppl local to me who made wooden bouquets but I reached out to a few and ended up going with Katie at Heart & Sola Creations because she was so easy to talk to and walked me through the whole process. She didn’t have one of the colors I needed but asked me to send a fabric sample and she created a dye color that matched my bridesmaid’s dresses perfectly!! Everything came out perfect and looked so good in pictures. 6 years later and I still have my bouquet on display on a shelf and my husband’s boutonnière in a shadow box with our invite, vows and unity rope braid. She quickly prepared a beautiful proposal, made herself available despite the short timeline, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt supported throughout the entire process. Over the next several weeks, Kelly met with us multiple times to discuss every detail of our wedding. She patiently updated our proposal as our ideas evolved and was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and flexible. Even the proposal itself was stunning. FWith over 12 years of experience in floral design in New York City, Florescent’s founder Samantha Smerconish brings her background in visual arts / production to her work - blending structure, movement, and natural beauty. She was drawn to floristry as a way to create with living materials while immersed in an urban landscape. Her journey with flowers began as a mobile bicycle cart, selling arrangements in parks and at pop-ups throughout the city. What started as a small, moving studio grew into a permanent workspace, and now into a retail floral space rooted in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
