“We were so lucky to find Rian and book him for our wedding. From start to finish he was kind, helpful, communicative, and professional. We had created a Spotify mix for playing during dinner and cocktail hour which he used and added to based on our conversations, and we gave him full rein outside of that because we didn't know how many people would want to dance and felt sure that he would be able to read the mood of the room/crowd. I could not believe how fun the dancing part of the evening was. It completely surpassed our expectations. Everyone had the best time and all my favorite photos are from the dance floor- it was a dream. He also helped us shorten our first dance song and perfectly orchestrated the entire event. They were able to set up speakers for both sides of the venue, provided mics and helped make the ceremony seamless, the transitions and the toasts a breeze for everyone involved. I really can't sing his praises enough. Plus he just has great taste in music, is a genuinely nice person, and someone I would definitely hire again. For a wedding our size (60 guests) he brought a colleague named Sam and together they helped create the perfect environment for memories we will cherish for a lifetime. Very easy process - They sent a google sheet with questions and for us to comment on music options, so they could get a good sense for our unique preferences. We loved the process & organization, as it made it really easy to collaborate. There was also an opportunity to add requests for songs outside of those they listed - they ended up performing the majority of our special requests! Extremely talented musicians - they performed unique versions of the songs across a very wide range of genres (from classical to 60s to soul to Latin to EDM…). We started with a solo cellist for the ceremony, the funky trio for the cocktail hour, followed by the DJ Band for the reception. All were fantastic, and each helped set the tone for the different parts of our event. Guests had a blast! They danced all night and kept asking us where we found the band as they said they were the best one they’ve ever heard at a wedding! The musicians interacted with the guests on the dance floor and we could tell they adapted their set based on the likes and energy of the room.”

“We got married on 10/08/2023 and booked Joey for both live entertainment and DJ. We selected him because he's a beatboxing cellist/DJ which we thought was totally awesome, and he did not disappoint. He was incredible and so much fun to work with! Our vision was pretty quirky; our venue was a funky brewery in an old airplane hangar, our attire was Art Deco-style, we didn't want any tradition "wedding" music, and had a tasteful ode to Batman incorporated into our theme. Joey took our vision and ran with it. He had so many creative ideas and input throughout the whole planning process. Beginning with the ceremony, he played cello versions of non-traditional 80s, pop, and rock songs, which were beautifully interpreted and set the perfect mood for the perfect moment. During "Beer Hour", he shifted to playing the cello while beatboxing and singing to more non-traditional songs. I have to say we were not expecting him to sing, but were pleasantly surprised by his beautiful voice! We and our guests were thoroughly impressed by his talent and charisma. When we transitioned to the reception, Joey switched gears to DJ/MC mode. He and his wife who was assisting him were seriously the life of the party. We requested that our grand entrance song be the Batman Forever theme song, and he came up with a minute-long "movie trailer" intro for us. It was epic and hilarious, and the perfect way to set the tone for the entire evening. Throughout the night, he played both songs we requested as well as other songs that fit our vibe perfectly. We were on the dance floor all night (other than when my husband left when the Niners game started haha). He and his wife were also rocking out with us at the DJ booth. It's easy to see that Joey loves what he does. His passion for music and creativity shines, and we can't thank him enough for making our wedding day "the most fun wedding we've ever been to" according to every single one of our guests. It was the most amazing wedding ever and the best day of our lives. Thank you Joey!!!”
