Since I have used Leah's services for other things before, I knew what to expect as far as photo-quality goes; the real testimonial comes from how she handled the wedding. Shooting a wedding in another country with a chaotic family is no easy task, even I wouldn't wish it upon myself, but Leah truly knocked it out of the park: she checked in before the event day to go over the schedule, showed up early, got all of the extra shots that I requested, directed people, and just really took charge of the experience. Having her as my wedding photographer was literally one of the only non-stressful decisions I made for that event lol. Lucia is professional, fast to respond to emails and texts, helpful with decisions, accommodating to any requests, concerns, and excited to give advice. Duncan and I really wanted our photographer to capture our true emotion and to get candids of us, and Lucia DID THAT! The day felt blissful and a key point for us was that we got to enjoy the day without it feeling solely like a photoshoot which I think speaks to Lucias talent and confidence in her craft. She was good at giving guiding advice for posing without us feeling posed. I put together a Pinterest board and shot list which she really did a great job pulling inspiration from. The photos are stunning and the exact style we envisioned. Also, our sneak peak was huge and she got them to us very fast. What do you imagine your wedding to be like? Imagination is a nice gift we have. It helps us building our identities and shaping our individual uniqueness. Imagining carries a degree of anticipation, depending on our past experiences and who we are, of how something that hasn't happened yet is going to be when it actually happens. Like traveling to a place where we've never been before and we take photos of its landscapes and people living there: we tend to capture in those photographs how we had imagined that place. A wedding is a destination in the journey of life, perhaps the most important one.
