We had our wedding on 8/28/21 at the Hyatt and it was everything we envisioned! Originally, our wedding date was 7/18/20, but due to Covid, we had to of course push it out. I had a new Hyatt contact, Katie Clark, and even though she wasn't the original contact I had met with, she really picked up everything without skipping a beat. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and she really blew me away with her communication, organization, and ability to adapt to changes. I miss working with her! On the wedding day, the entire day was seamless and I never felt that I had to panic. I knew our wedding was in great hands. Katie and the Hyatt staff did so much behind the scenes to make our day run smooth and special. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception, and the end of the night, everything was perfect! The venue itself is really gorgeous with the water views and big glass windows. There are so many great spots for photos whether it be on the grand staircase, on the dock, or the front of the hotel. It's just such a perfect location. The food was absolutely delicious! I had so many people come up to me and tell me that they food was really good. The appetizers during cocktail hour were unique and there was a lot of variety to choose from on the menu including late night snacks. The beef tenderloin entree was super tender. Compliments to the chef and staff! I had some additional requests that the venue was able to accommodate and Katie helped me with all the logistics to make sure we had what we needed. I really felt the effort that they put in to make my day what I wanted it to be. I have nothing but good memories of my wedding day and I owe it to the venue and the incredible staff. I highly recommend anyone who is considering the Hyatt Lake Washington location for their next wedding. It was worth every penny!

Over the nearly 3 years we had our long-term engagement, they were there every step of the way to help plan and execute our perfect wedding day. We got married at Mike's Beach Resort in 2019, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The location is breathtaking, with beautiful waterfront views and a peaceful vibe that made our entire weekend feel magical. Our guests loved staying in the cozy cabins, which were comfortable and had everything they needed. It was so nice to have everyone close by for the whole weekend. Plus, we were thrilled that the resort is pet-friendly—it meant we could include our dog in our special day, which made it even more memorable. The ceremony by the water was absolutely stunning, and the natural beauty of the resort added such a special touch to everything. It was exactly the kind of relaxed and beautiful celebration we had hoped for. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that offers gorgeous scenery, cozy accommodations, and a welcoming atmosphere (for both people and pets!), I can’t recommend Mike's Beach Resort enough. It’s a place we’ll always cherish!

The Lady Florence feels less like a traditional venue and more like the beloved home of a great aunt who’s thrilled to host your wedding. We got married in the fall, and were treated to blooming dahlias and grapevines bursting with rich, vibrant colors. Amy and Betsy are absolute gems. We were looking for a wedding that was both beautiful and low-key, and as soon as we met them, we knew we’d found our match. I don’t want to make any promises on their behalf, but let’s just say I floated the idea of a miniature donkey as a ring bearer, and they didn’t even blink. They matched our vibe immediately. I chose to have Amy do the day-of coordination—and as a project manager and full-blown type A person, I wanted to be completely hands-off on the big day. My wedding binder had instructions down to the napkin folds. Amy NAILED it. If anything went wrong, I never knew. Everything ran perfectly. We also loved how flexible the venue was in letting us create the wedding we envisioned. Through Florence, we found Carol at Island Girls Catering (incredible!) and she connected us to Sweet Buffet Lady for rentals. That trio made for an absolute dream team. We booked the whole house overnight and I highly recommend doing that. Honestly, our only regret was not booking the entire weekend. Having the space to linger, enjoy the night, and ease into cleanup the next morning was priceless.

Have your wedding here! If you like the water, the outdoors, the beach, chill people and avoiding the wedding industrial complex, this is the place for you. We looked at so many venues, and none came close to this place. Guemes Island is easily accessible with a short ferry ride, yet you feel far away from the city. It's surrounded by woods and right on the beach! The resort has a bunch of cabins that are all included in the rental. Our friends and family stayed the whole weekend. There are plenty of Airbnb's on the island if you have more people than they can hold. They were super helpful every step of the way. The staff are all so nice and clearly care about the place they are working at. It's also owned by locals, which is awesome. We spent months looking at venues, toured a bunch of them, and none had what we were looking for. Or their fee just to rent their ballroom for the afternoon was twice what you pay here for the entire resort all weekend! Your wedding is going to be awesome, why not enjoy it for multiple days? As soon as we arrived here, we knew this was the place. The staff was also super easy to work with and very helpful with anything we needed. They truly went above and beyond. Not only do you get all the cabins included so 90 people can stay all weekend, they have a sauna, wood fired hot tub (3 cabins have their own hot tub too), and plenty of room to grill, eat, and party. We rented a huge tent to have the reception in. They also have great relationships with vendors who made the day amazing and flow smoothly. There is a store at the resort, and another one on the island if you need anything. Anacortes is also a very short ferry ride away. The ferry was not an issue, the ride takes 5 minutes and it sails often. If you're used to the chaos of the state ferries, don't worry here. Our wedding was incredible, and Guemes Island Resort was a huge part of making that happen.

We had our dream wedding at Briarwood and it was the best decision that we could have made! Jessica was a great communicator and put us at ease as we were a bit nervous planning our wedding. The venue itself is SOOO BEAUTIFUL and has so many areas to play around with. It was difficult to pick only 1 space so we did each part of the wedding in different areas. The large open lawn space was perfect for our ceremony, we had our cocktail hour in the white blossom garden and then our reception in the Wisteria Den. It was all so magical and our guests were so excited about what was coming next. We haven't seen our professional photos yet, but I saw some sneak peeks and the venue is stunning for photos! Our favorite part overall was being able to stay at the cottages from Thursday to Sunday. We were able to load in our decor Thursday which made it so easy and gave us peace of mind that everything was in one location. Waking up on Friday morning and being able to walk around the venue a day before getting married was on of the highlights of the whole weekend. Being able to walk to our cottage at the end of the night after our reception was amazing. We spent the night of our wedding around the fire pit with our closest friends. We had the magical garden wedding of our dreams and I would suggest this venue to anyone and everyone if they are looking for an outdoor venue!

We had a 35 person wedding at Dunn Gardens in July 2024. It was absolutely amazing. Choosing the gardens was hands-down the best decision of our wedding and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. My husband and I searched all over WA and the Bay Area for wedding venues. We were looking for: - an outdoor wedding in the woods - a space appropriate for 40 guests - the ability to host a medium fancy, catered event- like an elevated backyard wedding We chanced upon Dunn Gardens on a botanical garden website. The moment we visited, we knew it was the perfect spot for us. The space alone may be the most gorgeous, well hidden little pocket of Seattle out there. Even folks not looking to get married should check the gardens out- we visited many times in the year leading up to our wedding, and in every season, the garden is a stunning, PNW dream. This is just what we wanted: a place where we could be at peace in the trees with our guests. It was so magical day-of, and all our guests commented on how special and beautiful the venue was. Though the scenery alone is enough to set this venue apart, the rest of our experience here was also incredible. The professionalism and assistance we received from our venue coordinator, Sara, was wonderful. She helped us every step of the way (for a year!) coordinating with our outside vendors, helping us make key decisions, and solving problems for us that arose day-of with our caterers. Working with Sara was one of the best parts of our wedding process. We also loved the flexibility and access the venue provided. In addition to our Saturday wedding, we hosted a casual rehearsal dinner and nature walk at the gardens Friday night, plus a floral prep party in the garden cottage Friday afternoon. Then, after the wedding, we had Sunday and Monday to clean up. The ongoing access to the gardens all weekend was so helpful logistically and gave us more time to enjoy the space with our families. Most of our wedding took place on lawns outside (there are many little areas to set things up- we had our rehearsal dinner on the cottage lawn, ceremony on the tennis lawn, and reception on the great lawn). For our floral prep, rehearsal dinner food area, and getting ready areas, we used the cottage. We did not rent a tent since it was July (a tent would be a good idea most other months). The venue was very flexible with our choice of vendors and our timeline and vision for the event. A few restrictions that worked fine for us were the limit on the headcount (40 at the time we had our wedding), time cutoff (guests out by 9pm- this was perfect, we bar hopped in Fremont with our friends afterwards), and no microphones, speakers, or DJs (we had a keyboardist, which was great. No mics for the ceremony and toasts, which was not a problem at all). A few more helpful things the venue provided were plastic banquet tables, folding chairs, use of furniture for things like outdoor lounging and gift tables, tablecloths (casual style, perfect for the rehearsal pizza dinner), vases (used for floral prep), and chalkboard signs. We loved our wedding and we are so grateful to have had it at Dunn Gardens. I can’t imagine a more perfect place to get married. I recommend this venue wholeheartedly, and encourage any couple thinking about it to stop in for a visit. You will fall in love with this garden- we certainly did and will be back for years to come.

We were lucky enough to be one of the first events in the Gatsby Ballroom! It was a fabulous evening for family and friends to get to know each other the night before our wedding. The food was incredible. We had Beef Wellington and Salmon as our main dishes and the guests raved about both. Many said it was the best salmon they had ever had! We had about 75 guests and the room was perfect. The bartender even had signature drinks that he came up with based on our personal taste. The staff was easy to work with and paid attention to every detail to make it a memorable night and the perfect start to our wedding weekend.
