I never saw myself going into wedding photography as a career. When I was growing up, a wedding photographer was some nerdy guy wearing a soup-stained tuxedo and carrying a big clunky medium format camera. No, I had plans to be the next big thing in advertising photography. I felt like I was well on my way enjoying a very successful career shooting corporate and advertising work on a national level and had never really considered shooting weddings as an option. That all changed when a wedding coordinator friend of mine was in a bind and asked if I could help them out by shooting one of their weddings.

Hyla Brook Estate is a stunning band new private 9 acre garden estate that offers breathtaking year round modern farmhouse events. We opened our barn doors in October 2024!
