Hello! My name is Tony Coppola and I’d like to take this time to tell you a little bit about myself and CC King Entertainment. I began my musical journey when I was 12 years old as a singer and drummer. Over ten years ago, I built a home recording studio and named it CC King Studio. Shortly after, I DJ’d my first wedding and CC King Entertainment was born! After DJing hundreds of weddings, my business allowed me to leave my 16-year career as an occupational therapist. I ALWAYS go the extra mile to personalize my wedding services. I also have the distinct honor to work with an amazing team of Michigan wedding DJs!

Hi there! I started my music education at 8 years old, starting with private piano lessons that spanned 12 years.. leading to a BA in Vocal Performance from Wayne State University, and study abroad in Rome, Italy. I’ve performed as a Soprano soloist/section leader for numerous churches throughout Metro Detroit, and have had the honor of singing with many great bands. I joined Trilogy Band 10 years ago, and truly fell in love with being a part of couples’ special days. There’s nothing like seeing their faces full of joy, and the energy of a packed dance floor! Dave Lawson is an experienced, reliable and professional Detroit vinyl DJ. Since 2010, he has created the soundtrack to countless corporate events, fundraisers, weddings, and private parties in the Midwest. The music and setup are tailored to each event based on the occasion and audience. Dave plays mostly vinyl records from his personal collection, but he can also play any request digitally. He specializes in feel-good Motown and R&B, but his collection includes a vast variety of other genres. Basically, Dave has a LOT of records and caters the music to your event. Dave is also a musician, producer and communications consultant.

I've had over 18 years of experience in DJ/Mc work and Radio broadcasting. In that time, I've come to the conclusion that DJing Weddings is my favorite thing to do.
