“Riverside Farm was so wonderful to work with and a spectacular place to host our wedding! We hosted around 130 people and had three days of events at Riverside Farm in 2026 and all went so smoothly and were stunningly beautiful. We had a welcome party in the evening the first day, a cocktail hour and reception the second day, and a farewell brunch the morning of the third day. It’s lovely to have the whole space for your wedding for the weekend - we were glad to only have people we knew at the venue, and to not feel rushed for arriving and dropping things off nor leaving at the end. Kaycee gave us a tour of the property in 2025 which was very helpful and gave us confidence. Then over the next year, we worked extensively with Krissy, our wedding coordinator, to bring the wedding weekend to life. She was excellent, friendly, helpful, and kept everything running smoothly and was our one point of contact for anything we needed related to Riverside Farm. She coordinated all with 1888 Builders, the company you are required to rent from for tables, chairs, kitchenware, etc. We found the prices to be reasonable and it was easy to just work through Krissy and Vermont Farms Catering, who did our catering, as they knew exactly what was needed for most things. The property is absolutely stunning. The barns are immaculately maintained and the grass and landscaping too. The accommodations vary in layout and we and our wedding party enjoyed them but they are not all your typical rooms of a queen or king bed. Additionally, they are scattered around the property but none are so far from the main activities that it’s a hassle. We enjoyed the beautiful Suite for the bridal couple, it’s a large, eclectic space and convenient from the red barn. We would highly recommend Riverside Farm and Krissy and the whole team for your wedding!”

It is a brick and stone castle-like structure built in 1899, designed to be reminiscent of medieval military structures in Europe. It was designed by State Architect Isaac G. Perry. It consists of a 2-story, hip-roofed administration building with an attached gable-roofed drill shed. The administration building features a 5-story octagonal tower and a 3+1⁄2-story round tower. “We are so glad we chose Lake Morey resort for our wedding venue. Our top priority for our venue was to find a place where our friends and family would be able to share quality time together, have fun, and enjoy the outdoors. Lake Morey nailed it with their social environment, gorgeous grounds, and amazing live music. We had our ceremony in the Hemlock Gardens, with cocktail hour in Mapleview Gardens & tented reception on the lawn — all the venues dressed up beautifully for the big day. While food wasn’t a huge priority for us when selecting the venue, Lake Morey greatly exceeded our expectations. The reception food and hors d’oeuvres were delicious and garnered a ton of compliments. And no review of Lake Morey would be complete without a shout-out to Bonnie, the in-house wedding coordinator, who is exceptional. She was extremely organized, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. When we had a scare about getting rained out, she proactively made sure to book the nicest spaces for backup venues at no upcharge for us (fortunately, the skies did clear up for the big day, but she saved our welcome party from disaster). “We had our September 2025 tented wedding at River Ranch in Lake Placid and honestly could not have picked a better Adirondack wedding venue. We were so happy they received their wedding permit, and the land-only rental gave us the freedom to create the entire wedding exactly how we wanted, from the tent and ceremony setup to cocktail hour and reception. The High Peaks views were unreal, the property felt private and spacious, and our guests could not stop talking about the scenery. If you are looking for a Lake Placid wedding venue for a custom tented wedding in the Adirondacks, River Ranch is truly one of a kind.”
