Set on 112 acres, the property features a trout pond, apple orchards, private gardens, hiking and cross country ski trails and a covered bridge. James Beard Award Winning Chef Michael Schlow and his team have partnered with local producers to create the best dining experience in Southern Vermont. From private dinners for 10 in our Wine Cellar, to tented affairs for 200 on our lawn, let our culinary and events team indulge your guests with our unique brand of mountain elegance and hospitality.

My husband and I got married at the Inn in August. It was a perfect New England mix of weather. Rain all morning until noon, wind and unseasonably cold! We wouldn’t have changed a thing. The team at the Inn was fantastic. They turned on heat lamps and had all the pretty fire pits going. It made everything glow and felt so special. Gina, the Inn’s wedding planner, is just so lovely. She’s professional and organized and executed everything we asked and more. We picked this location because it’s beautiful, had indoor and outdoor wedding space. We wanted to get married in Vermont, but we weren’t looking for rustic. This was a really good fit for us. Overall it’s pricey, and that was a factor that we weighed heavily. Our guests raved about the food and drink, and lived The Hermitage. And I’m still dreaming about the Inn’s pastry chef, Maya, carrot cake dream wedding cake!

I always look forward to photographing engagement photos and weddings at Weatherhead Hollow. The setting is beautiful—the barn, the various houses, and the surrounding area—and both Katherine and Daniel are a delight to work with. There is a genuine patina of history throughout the property—a photographer's dream—coupled with an elegance and artistry that is the perfect backdrop for engagement and wedding images. My experience of photographing at Weatherhead Hollow is that the final images are not only going to reflect the natural beauty of Vermont, but also the joy the wedding party and guests experience in such a special place.

Ok, so I may be a tiny bit biased because it was my wedding, but it was THE BEST WEDDING EVER. All of our guests say the same thing! From working with Meesha who is phenomenal, experienced, warm and friendly, to the food and accommodations, we would not have changed a single thing. Every member of the team was so accommodating (for example, one of our signature drinks was coquito, the bar made it specifically for us using the recipe we sent, and it was delicious!). This season was very rainy, and while it would have been amazing to have the ceremony outside, Meesha’s team executed plan B without a hitch, and still just as beautiful. Everyone was so kind and friendly, they went above and beyond to make our weekend special, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Many thanks to: Dexter for lighting the bonfire on a rainy night, hanging our piñata, and all the other things he did behind the scenes! Meesha for her hospitality, guidance, support and wisdom during an event that is most likely a first for many of us! To Meesha’s team for all the hard work they did making the tent look GORGEOUS and keeping all of our guests happy! To the bar for making the most delicious specialty cocktail and keeping up with our guests. To chef Gary for his DELICIOUS food. Valerie, the captain, who helped everything go off without a hitch, the glue that held everything together. Her warmth, knowledge, and communication with us and Meesha was remarkable. I’m sure there are sooo many other people to thank and shout out, but this wedding was worth every penny because of this amazing team and amazing venue. The people especially made our wedding the best wedding ever.

Scott Farm Orchard

5.0

Dummerston, VT
  • Up to 120 guests
  • Limited services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $4,500

The 571-acre Scott Farm, a The Landmark Trust USA property, is home to 130 varieties of ecologically-grown heirloom apples and other fine fruits, a seasonal Farm Market, and the Apple Barn Event Center. All 23 buildings on the property are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A popular wedding venue, the farm is surrounded by four authentically-restored historic year-round vacation rental properties accommodating up to 22 guests—one of which is Rudyard Kipling’s Naulakha where he penned the Jungle Book. The Stone Trust Education Center, located in the 1862 Barn, showcases beautiful, unique dry-stone wall installations around the property. The Apple Barn accommodates up to 120 guests, has a commercial kitchen, three restrooms, one is wheelchair accessible. Overlooking the farm and mountains, a delightful spot for special occasions, rehearsal dinners, and wedding receptions. Exchange vows in the Courtyard or by a pond overlooking the apple orchard and stonewalls.

My wife and I were meant to get married in 2020 in Wales, but the pandemic squashed our plans, years in the making. We were devastated. It was quickly made clear that an international wedding was out of the question for the foreseeable future, so we redirected our search closer to home. After a few months of truly disheartening searching, we were directed towards Scott Farm. Really as soon as we pulled into the parking lot we were in love. It is nestled inside of rolling hills and the land is covered in beautiful orchards and picturesque white buildings. It was like a scene out of a movie--and it really was, as Good Will Hunting was filmed there! The process of planning the wedding with the staff at Scott Farm was truly seamless. Simon was kind, patient, and helpful, leading us through all the specifications and details of the site, and making himself available if we ever had any questions or concerns. And Jaja was a rock star--she went above and beyond in every aspect of her duties, especially on the wedding day. Without her calm and confident presence, trouble shooting problems and reassuring an anxious bride and groom, the day would not have gone so perfectly. I can't say enough about how supportive, pleasant, and wonderful everyone is at Scott Farm. If you are planning a wedding or an event of any kind, do it at Scott Farm!

The Boylston Rooms

5.0

Easthampton, MA
  • Up to 200 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $6,600

Founded in 1814, The West Boylston Company was a large textile manufacturer in West Boylston, MA. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. Whatever your style, with over 140 pieces of decor, if you can picture it in the space, we can make it happen.

The Boylston Rooms staff are THE people you want in your corner leading up to and on the day of your wedding. They were always accessible to answer questions we had along the wedding planning process and even took on a few DIY projects we threw their way to make sure the day of was picture perfect. We had the pleasure of having Myles and Erin for our big day and it meant a lot to us that they weren't solely focused on the wedding party but also accessible to our guests and added to their experience as well. They we instrumental in helping us prioritize and efficiently allocate our time and resources so that we just had to show up, get married, and party! As far as the venue itself, photos don't do it justice. I loved the history behind the building and having the different spaces made it feel like we didn't have to compromise. We went with minimal decor so that it would highlight the natural beauty of the building since that was one of the reasons we chose this venue. Working with Myer's Catering was also a fantastic experience. They were accommodating to our non-traditional requests, communicative, transparent with pricing, and service went off with out a single hiccup. Oh, and the food was absolutely delicious! We were cost conscious when choosing vendors and in the end we went over budget, but looking back on how perfect our day was, it was all worth every penny. The Boylston Rooms provide a level of service that you simply can't find elsewhere. Venue: The Boylston Rooms (Easthampton, MA) Caterer: Myer's Catering (Easthampton, MA) Photographer: Undressed Moments (Northampton, MA) DJ: Visual Sound Productions (Longmeadow, MA) Hair & Makeup: Honey Hair & Beauty (Westfield, MA) Florals: FiftyFlowers.com & Ling's Moment Dance Lessons: Emily Foxtrot (Florence, MA)

We had an exceptional experience with The Delany House for our wedding! The Delany House was one of the first choices on our list, however we weren't sure we could make it work after Covid hit, and then we had several other circumstances that took us away from planning for a while. Then in August of 2022, we decided to make an appointment with Nicole at the Delany House because through all of our searching, we kept coming back to this beautiful place as our #1. Nicole was a wonderful coordinator and listened to all of our needs and concerns, as we had a very small amount of people and weren't sure if family would make it from different parts of the country. She was always communicating with us and made sure we had everything we needed to plan our special day, and in a short time frame as well because we married on May 12th 2023, less than a year from when we started planning! Nicole is a rock star! When we finally checked in, and got ready for our rehearsal dinner, we had one last meeting with Nicole and she took care of everything for us. The day of our wedding we had a legit TEAM of people helping us with everything we needed, from timing, to communicating with vendors, to our own waiter for the day bringing us diet cokes while we all got ready and later was right by our side with drinks through the night!- (Thanks Josiah!) The staff made sure we had everyone where they needed to be at the right time, and as the night went on they checked on us and made our guests feel so comfortable. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! All of our guests kept raving about how delicious everything was. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to get married and celebrate. We recommend The Delany House to anyone who we know that is getting married and wants a great place at a great price and wonderful staff! We can't wait to celebrate our one year anniversary there and see everyone again!
