I had a specific vision for the flowers at my wedding, and Melissa provided exactly what I was picturing but with these little special touches that made it even more beautiful than I could have imagined. When I walked outside to the reception space and saw all of the florals set up, I was in awe at how beautiful it was and how perfectly Melissa had brought this idea to life. Kaleigh and Jeff pour so much love into your flowers, from planting the seeds months in advance all the way up to harvesting them the week of your wedding-- you can feel the care and love! “We got married at JM Cellars in Woodinville in early September (2025), and when I was first looking for inspo on florals, Shelby's work was already showcased on Pinterest with the panels for the arbor. She and I had worked together many years ago (unrelated to florals), so it was a no brainer that I wanted to hire her for my big day! Shelby and I connected immediately and she started feeding off of my ideas. She mentioned the panels for the arbor, and I was able to connect the dots back to the pinterest photo I originally saw. “Alison provided floral services for our wedding in August of 2021. We worked with her via Facetime calls, texts, and emails leading up to the main event. We began by giving her a link to our Pinterest design board where she pulled together some florals and greenery samples for us to look at during a video call. With some professional adjustments here and there, Alison was able to beautifully craft our floral needs for our wedding. Her designs included centerpieces for the tables, florals, and greenery for the aisle seating and the centerpiece, a large arrangement spreading over the front of the gazebo where we got married. They changed the bridesmaids’ flowers to be more floral, when I chose the Jane collection due to the greenery. As flowers weren’t specifically important to me, this wasn’t that big of a deal, but it didn’t feel great to not be able to get what we originally wanted and paid for. After reaching out to them about this issue, we did get a 50% discount on the bridesmaid flowers.”

“Poppy Flowers was a great choice for our wedding flowers because they worked well trying to fit our budget and gave us flexibility with our flowers. Their communication was primarily virtual which was challenging at times. Outside of our first Zoom meeting, we had to communicate using their platform which could have been more efficient. Outside of the Poppy Flowers platform, our florist Dara Cordova did an amazing job. The quality of her work was excellent - she matched our vision for the flowers perfectly. The bouquets they created were absolutely stunning, encompassing all the flower profiles and colors we had discussed. Our guests had many compliments on how beautiful the flowers looked and how well they fit the overall style and aesthetic of our wedding day. Our only hiccup was when we were told we could flip our flowers from our wedding ceremony to reception area (we had different locations) but two weeks prior, we were told that they would not transport flowers from our ceremony to reception so we had to cut down and have our planner relocate the flowers for us. We wish communication would have been more clear. It was an added stress so close to the wedding. Overall. Poppy Flowers provided great value and delivered well-executed floral arrangements that truly brought our wedding vision to life on a budget.”

To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

We are passionate about growing seasonal flowers using organic and regenerative farming practices. When we need to buy in flowers, we source from local farms. We never use floral foam in our arrangements. We are committed to using non-toxic materials and mechanics that are biodegradable or recyclable.

“Caity did my wedding florals and by far exceeded my expectations. I sent her a Pinterest board and she responded quickly with a quote and had also put my scattered ideas into words. She was easy to work with and I loved the results. I received so many compliments on her work. A special shout out to the floral installation she put in the tree we had our ceremony under.
