“Our wedding reception on October 5, 2025, was absolutely amazing, and we couldn't have chosen a better venue! From the very first tour all the way through our reception, everything went incredibly smoothly. The staff was so easy to work with, communication was excellent, and we always felt informed throughout the entire planning process. They were upfront about all costs and exactly what was included, so there were never any surprises. We were married at a church down the road and held our reception here. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. The rustic barn atmosphere creates the perfect setting for a wedding, and every area of the grounds makes for gorgeous photos. The entire staff was friendly, professional, efficient, and genuinely cared about making our day special. If we needed anything—from extra chairs and condiments to adjustments with the sound or lighting—they were there immediately and happy to help. The food was incredible! Although my husband and I didn't get to eat much because we were busy celebrating with our guests, we heard countless compliments all night about how delicious everything was. We hired an outside vendor to provide an ice cream bar for dessert in addition to our wedding cake, and the venue worked seamlessly alongside them. The staff beautifully cut and plated our cake, making it look elegant for our guests. At the end of the evening, they even provided containers so our guests and we could take home leftovers, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our guests also had wonderful things to say about the bartenders. Everyone commented on how friendly they were, how quickly they served drinks, and that they certainly didn't skimp on the pours! We also hired the venue's DJ. Communication before the wedding could have been a little better, as a few emails went unanswered. However, everything came together on the wedding day, the music and lighting sounded great, and everyone had a wonderful time. The only feedback we heard from a few guests was that some songs were repeated during the evening. One thing that really stood out was the staff at the end of the night. As our bridal party and parents started cleaning up, the waitstaff immediately jumped in and helped us break everything down. They truly went above and beyond, and their willingness to help meant so much to us after such a long day. As an added surprise, they even mailed us a beautiful Christmas ornament after our wedding—a small gesture that meant a lot and showed how much they care about their couples. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-organized, and stress-free wedding experience. The staff, the venue, the food, and the service exceeded our expectations, and we're so thankful we chose to celebrate our special day here!”

“Where do I begin? Chicago Winery was everything we could have asked for and more. My husband and I toured nearly a dozen wedding venues throughout Chicago, and while each had something we liked, none checked every box until we found Chicago Winery. From the moment we submitted an inquiry, we knew we were in good hands. We received a response almost immediately and were able to schedule a call with their Sales Manager, Lindsay, later that same day. During our conversation, she took the time to understand our vision, guest count, priorities, budget, and the overall atmosphere we hoped to create. She also shared available dates within our preferred timeframe and thoughtfully recommended having one or two dates in mind if we were seriously considering the venue. A few days later, we toured Chicago Winery and were welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine. By the end of the tour, we were completely sold and booked our wedding date that same day. The venue is absolutely stunning, but what truly stood out was the professionalism, warmth, and organization of the team. Throughout the planning process, we had access to the event management team whenever questions came up. About three months before our wedding, we were introduced to our Event Manager, Hulda, and attended our tasting. Chicago Winery prepares every item on their menu for couples to sample—from passed hors d'oeuvres and salads to entrées, sides, desserts, and of course, their wines. They host tastings with all the couples getting married around the same time, which made for such a fun and unique experience. It was exciting to meet other couples and share in the wedding planning journey together. Hulda was absolutely phenomenal. She provided an incredibly detailed planning document that covered everything from food and beverage selections to vendor information, ceremony details, music, décor, and timeline logistics. She was consistently responsive, patient, and helpful whenever we had questions. About six weeks before the wedding, we met for our final walkthrough, where we reviewed the timeline, discussed logistics, and incorporated her recommendations to ensure the day flowed seamlessly. On our wedding day, everything exceeded our expectations. The venue recommends holding the rehearsal once the bridal party arrives, which worked perfectly and kept the day running efficiently. They welcomed us with champagne and a beautiful charcuterie spread in the bridal suite, which was such a thoughtful touch before the festivities began. From guest arrival—where everyone was greeted with passed wine—to the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner service, and reception, the entire event team kept everything running effortlessly. We never had to worry about what came next because they were always one step ahead. Their coordination allowed us to truly be present and enjoy every moment of the day. Our guests are still talking about how incredible the venue was. We received countless compliments on the ambiance, the attentive service, and especially the food, which exceeded everyone's expectations. Chicago Winery delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish and made the wedding planning process feel far less overwhelming than we ever expected. Choosing Chicago Winery was one of the best decisions we made. Every member of the team genuinely cared about making our day special, and we couldn't be more grateful. “My husband nor I are from Michigan (from the Chicagoland area) and everyone kept asking us "why Michigan?" The moment they walked in, they felt the same feeling I did when I first toured the venue. It is beautiful, unique, personal and was everything and more that I could have hoped for. Our wedding as at the end of June and we were very fortunate that the rain held off and the temperature/humidity ended up being perfect. We had about 185 guests attend the wedding and I think everyone was too stunned by the venue to even care about the drizzle of rain that was happening.
