The entire process from start to finish was seamless and professional, and our flowers turned out more gorgeous than I could have possibly imagined! Everything was so perfect, I cried when I first held my bridal bouquet on our wedding day. We initially contacted Melissa only 6 weeks before our wedding (which was pretty last-minute). After chatting on the phone, we sent her some Pinterest boards with more details about our style and vision. Within 24 hours, Melissa sent a very thorough itemized proposal with the exact flowers and items for us to confirm within our wishlist and budget range, such as bouquets, corsages/boutonnieres, the flower girl basket, the ceremony arch, table centerpieces, and wedding cake florals. The whole proposal signing and decision-making process was super smooth and easy. Something I thought was really unique is that they were able to repurpose our ceremony arch into our sweetheart table decor in order to reduce the cost, as well as repurpose the flowers in a sustainable way. We really didn’t need much additional decor for our wedding because the flowers brought everything to life within the venue space. She didn’t have one of the colors I needed but asked me to send a fabric sample and she created a dye color that matched my bridesmaid’s dresses perfectly!! Everything came out perfect and looked so good in pictures. 6 years later and I still have my bouquet on display on a shelf and my husband’s boutonnière in a shadow box with our invite, vows and unity rope braid. She made me 10 bridesmaid bouquets, 2 bouquets for my mom and mother in law, a gorgeous bouquet for myself, an extra boutonniere, and even added flowers to our cake (which was very bare) without us having to ask. “We had the absolute best experience working with Florescent and Sam for our wedding! I truly cannot say enough great things about them! I came to Sam with the idea of doing a colorful meadow for our altar but the issue was that the inspo pictures I had for this were from a VERY pricy Lake Como wedding. That love continued through school and became my passion in college. After gaining a BS from Michigan State University in Horticulture/Floriculture and Landscape Design, I began my career. In 1995, I began Mark Bryan Designs with a eye towards creating unique floral designs for events and weddings.
