On the day of the wedding, because we didn't do the bouquet toss and stuff, there was some extra time before dinner. The dance floor was packed the entire time and we had numerous guests during and after the night tell us how it was by far the best DJ/music they’ve ever experienced at a wedding. From the start of the process Cam did an incredible job of understanding our vision and the type of music/vibe we wanted to have. Cam was extremely organized and personable, and the 3 pre-wedding calls we had with him were super beneficial to building trust and ensuring the night went as smoothly as possible. These meetings were very productive, and by the time we were through with them, we knew we had made the right choice. By the end, Cam felt more like a genuine friend than somebody we were hiring. He gave honest feedback, made several recommendations, and worked with us through numerous changes. When it came to execution, Cam and his team were very professional and delivered beyond expectations. They played all the songs we wanted to hear and even included their own creative touch with some amazing remixes and twists. They kept the crowd at high energy all night long and made sure every guest was having a great time. I think we spent 95% of our night on the dance floor having an absolute blast, and thats just the way we wanted to remember the night. Our DJ, Jan, absolutely exceeded all expectations we had as a DJ for our wedding day. When we met with him before the wedding, we gave him a few of our favorite songs but told him to use his discretion as what was most important to us was having everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. WELL, did he know what he was doing!!! Our dance floor was filled the ENTIRE NIGHT. We had 220 guests at our wedding, and 0 of them were sitting. We have guests who didn't even know we had a photo booth or voicemail booth because they truly did not leave the dance floor one time to look around. Jan reads the room perfectly and truly has a niche for knowing what people like to hear. Our MC Matt was also so great! He helped keep the night on track and made sure we were enjoying ourselves the entire time. He was fun, entertaining, and kept the vibes going! We have had 10 guests ask for our DJs information so they can book him for their own wedding because he really was just that good. After just the first dance set alone, our guests were excited and ready to party because he set the tone perfectly! We also booked a saxophonist through JPBRO as well as a dry ice machine, indoor firework fountains, and the snow effect and they were all perfect! The snow was by far the best addition! It was practically real snow (way better than what we were expecting) and all of our guests went crazy over it! The saxophonist was also a great touch and played practically every song throughout the night which our guests loved! And of course the dry ice machine and indoor firework fountains looked so great in our wedding pictures! Request Jan as your DJ- he is worth every penny and you will not regret it!!! There is never a dull moment and never a rest between songs. The song selection, arrangements, and overall vibe are like the best concert you ever been to, but it’s your wedding. A special shout out to their arrangements of Pink Pony Club and I Don’t Want to Go Home, learned for our wedding, and an absolutely ripping Tenth Avenue Freeze Out that doubled as both our entrance song and a big club hit at the end of the night. All night, we kept hearing from our guests how incredible the band was, and we have to agree! We closed the night with DJ Ian playing dance music for the final hour, with some help from the stompers horn section toward the end. Really can’t think of a better set or show, loved every second. And now we can go catch them on Mondays at R Bar to keep the party going!”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“Kevin is AMAZING!!! He DJed our wedding celebration in May 2024, and WOW - he was 100000% our dream DJ. We had eloped a year earlier, so our "vision" for the night was to have an epic dance party with all of our friends - Kevin understood this immediately, and delivered truly beyond our wildest imagination! He kept the vibes moving during cocktail hour, and then seriously BROUGHT THE PARTY. The dancefloor was packed for over 3 hours straight. It felt like every single person there asked us where we had found our DJ, and they couldn't believe the mixes he was doing on the fly!! From the moment I first reached out to him in January right up until the end of the event, Kevin was consistently professional, upbeat, and efficient. He replied to all communication quickly, and was SO thoughtful in his preparation. He provided a shared document months ahead of time so that we could share music and scheduling info, and on the night of the event it was so evident that he had paid attention to every single detail ever mentioned in the document, over Zoom, or on our site visit. Every single must-play song came on at the perfect time, he managed to source very specific remixes that I had mentioned, and he kept the night running on schedule with such a chill, stress-free, and adaptable vibe. Kevin even introduced us to his colleague Richie for dance lights when we were debating our lighting options, which also ended up being absolutely perfect! I cannot stress enough how collaborative and understanding Kevin is, how smooth the process was, and most importantly - what a KILLER DJ he is. He truly wants to deliver the night of your dreams. My heart felt like it was going to explode in the best way multiple times that night, because of all the incredible, better-than-you-could-ever-have-imagined dancefloor moments. I wish we had an excuse to do it all over again, I would work with Kevin again in a heartbeat!!!”
