On our picturesque grounds, visitors will find the historic Casa Chavez and original ranchito gates in addition to our verdant meadow, the Solarium, and beautiful desert landscape. Our riverside, outdoor venue is a working ranch that has been in our family for 70 years. Set on 150 private acres along the Verde River, our space offers a peaceful, scenic setting with plenty of flexibility to design your perfect ceremony and reception. All of our packages include seating for up to 100 guests, linens, tasteful centerpieces, lawn games, a sound system and we have plenty of options to customize.

You and your fiancé will enjoy saying your vows in our large gazebo while listening to fountains flow and birds’ chirp. Following, you will enjoy a large reception area where you will dance the night away under the twinkle lights, hang out by the fire, and enjoy many more activities. Our facility is newly renovated, with over one-half acers of lush gardens, multiple colors of seasonal flowers, green plants, spacious grass areas, and large mature trees. Apache Oaks is twenty-five private acres of ancient oaks and open grassland outside Patagonia, Arizona, at 5,300 feet, wrapped by Coronado National Forest. It was a children's church camp for fifty years. We restored it with respect for what it had been, and the original pews are still here, which is where your guests will sit for the ceremony. Six buildings sleep twenty-five indoors, with open ground for tents and RVs if your group runs bigger. A full commercial kitchen, a screened pavilion, a fire pit, and enough room outside that the ceremony, dinner and dancing can each have their own place under the oaks. When dinner and dancing end, guitar and singing at the fire pit and too much laughing under a lot of stars. Then everyone walks to bed instead of driving, and in the morning you are all still together, in your pajamas, talking about the memories you just made. You have all of it to yourselves. We only ever host one group at a time. Come early, stay late. We mean it.

Van Dickson Ranch is a wedding venue located in Skull Valley, Arizona, 16 miles from Prescott, and 90 minutes north of Phoenix. It is a marvelous place for spring, summer, and fall nuptials with its wondrous oak and walnut trees. A natural arch formed by 100-year-old cottonwoods and a lush carpet of grass situated above Skull Valley Creek sets the scene for weddings. This beautiful area is known as Skull Valley because of the skulls found there in the late 1800s which are believed to be from ancient battles between the Yavapai and Apache people. Although our experience with event planning started nearly 14 years ago as a decor rental company featuring props from a more modern to rustic style that included planning services and day of coordinating services primarily. Group rates are in effect if you've got 20 passengers or more and reservation & payment are coordinated by 1 individual.
