Extravagant historic manor with exceptional gardens featuring new-world flora

Built in 1929 by Walter Strong as a family estate to share with his wife, Blythe. Expense was no object as the owners curated the best of 1920 period features and employed expert architects to create a mansion in the popular Spanish Colonial Revival style. Highpoints of this attention to detail include hand-stamped tiles, timeless décor, ornate fireplaces, a grand staircase, and a stunning balcony for you to view the gardens. The Manor House boasts a glorious grand ballroom with chandeliers and oversized windows, a private patio area, and two dressing suites.

My husband Richard and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at Secret Garden by Wedgewood Weddings, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The venue was absolutely gorgeous with lush gardens, fountains, and twinkling lights that made for a magical backdrop. From our first meeting with the events team, they were attentive, accommodating, and compassionate, making sure every detail was taken care of so Richard and I could relax and enjoy our special day. Their communication was timely and thoughtful every step of the way. The space itself was incredibly spacious and offered a wide variety of beautiful photo backdrops. Our guests raved about the delicious meal and attentive staff. I would wholeheartedly recommend Secret Garden to any couple looking for a venue that will help create lifelong memories.

Wedgewood Weddings as a whole was awesome to work with. I toured 3 of the venues and had previously been to a wedding at another one of their locations. When I toured the Secret Garden I knew right away that it was the perfect venue for me but getting to know the team there only solidified it even more. All of the ladies I worked with and their vendors were so kind and informative. I’m so happy with our decision to get married here.

Our entire experience with Secret Garden was seamless, and the planning team is staffed with rockstars! They were so diligent with any questions we had and always were so kind to us throughout helping us make our wedding day so special! Sydney was a wonderful day-of coordinator, and our wedding ceremony followed by our reception with food, music, timeline, and fun was all so spectacular! The way Secret Garden sets up the major vendors for you is beyond helpful (cake, flowers, DJ, food, open bar) with the premium package!

We got married at The Secret Garden By Wedgewood Weddings in June, and wow, what an amazing experience! From the first steps of planning with an extensive step by step binder, to multiple check up meetings, always available service, and constant communication. They made planning our dream wedding a breeze! As for the wedding itself, it was all perfect. Our coordinator Gianna and banquet captain Karen were absolute superstars, making sure everything went as planned to the minute, and quickly adjusting when things came up. If anything did go wrong that day, we had no idea about it. Every single vendor they recommended was 5/5 stars, all professionals who were extremely comfortable working as a team at this venue for a seamless experience! Our friends and families loved everything about it, especially the food and ambiance. We highly recommend the Secret Garden, or any venue by Wedgewood Weddings, to help make your wedding day perfect!
