DIY Rustic Barn Venue located in Pinetop, Arizona, with stunning White Mountain views. The Gathering Place combines historic equestrian charm with practical amenities for weddings and special events. Facilities & Capacity: Scenic outdoor ceremony lawn featuring a customizable pine arch, plus a 2,800 sq. ft. historic barn hosting 50–150 guests for dining and dancing. Rental Inclusions: Tables, chairs, and day-before setup access. DIY Operational Model As a self-managed DIY rental facility, contracted guests oversee all day-of coordination, vendor management, and contingency planning. Venue staff is not on-site during events, and backup power is not provided or guaranteed. Hosts are fully responsible for backup plans and preparations for unforeseen circumstances, including power or water outages, severe weather, or vendor disruptions.

However, you are welcome to also host your ceremony indoors! Access to the venue is same day of the wedding only from 6:30am-Midnight.

    Absolutely gorgeous!

    This place is an amazing venue!! There is a lot of rules to the contract but totally worth it and had no issues. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and that couldn’t have happened with out them! Totally worth it

No pets are allowed anywhere on the property with the exception of service animals. A service animal is a dog that has been specially trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person's disability. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals do not qualify as service animals.
Loose glitter, glitter on decorations, glitter on drapery or fabric. Real candles, sparklers, fireworks. Anything with an open flame. Tiny shapes, confetti, rice, seeds, sequins, beads, fake jewels. Nails, screws, tape, glue, command strips, etc. Firearms not permitted on venue property. ATV's and similar vehicles not permitted on property.
Propane grills as long as no fire restrictions are in effect. Propane heaters in colder weather as long as no fire restrictions are in effect. Light duty staple gun to secure decorations to arch or beams. Guest removes staples. Real flower petals - guest picks up petals before leaving if used. Extra furniture, barrels, tubs - barn floor must be protected from scratches. Smoking allowed at two stations located on the property. Guests may decorate indoors and outdoors; must remove all items brought in along with staples, twine, etc. Extra strings of lights may be brought in for outdoor and indoor use.
All TGP questions are to be submitted by email so that there is a record of the question and response. Indoor setup. Responsible alcohol service by a licensed bartender. Drying ceremony chairs if they become wet before ceremony. Take all trash to dumpster located on property. Remove all items brought to the property. Remove staples, twine, etc. Oversee all day-of coordination, vendor management, and contingency planning. Fully responsible for backup plans and preparations for unforeseen circumstances, including power or water outages, severe weather, or vendor disruptions.
Pick up any flower petals that were tossed and all party favors. Pick up cigarettes & cigars. Return patio furniture to its original spot if moved. Leave indoor tables and chairs where they are when event ends. Exit by time specified on contract.
Grounds and buildings are clean and well-maintained. The following in good working order: restrooms, heaters, fans, lights. Trash cans are lined and have an extra liner underneath. Correct number of tables and chairs are in the barn, ready for set up by the guest. Correct number of ceremony chairs placed outdoors according to guest's specifications. Staff puts away ceremony chairs at conclusion of event. Staff cleans tables and chairs before putting them away after an event.
No, linens will need to be purchased from another company, or rented from a party rental store.
June, July, August, September, and October.
February, March, April, May, November, and December are considered off-peak season. Our venue is closed every mid-December through January due to winter weather conditions. We are closed all major holidays.
Yes, however, a certified bartender is required to serve all alcohol. There is no self-service of alcohol (including beer/wine/spritzers). We do not allow Keg stands at our venue. We do not allow the sale of alcohol, so your event/wedding needs to provide an open bar or free drink tickets given out to your guests.
Yes, we have a well-lit parking lot connected to the venue area. We have designated handicap accessible parking in this parking lot. There is enough parking for up to 150 guests.
Yes, our facilities are considered wheelchair accessible. Please note, the parking lot consists of a dirt/gravel landscaping materials. The path leading up to the concrete sidewalks around the barn is also gravel. The ceremony grass has uneven terrain.
