Longacre boasts over 2 acres of boxwood and garden spaces to create a beautiful outdoor and English Garden wedding scene. We have several locations within the grounds for receptions and ceremonies to accommodate 25 to 150 guests. The Gazebo works as both a great wedding arch with the fountain area perfect for reception gathering of a Tudor house backdrop to your ceremony. Grounds can be rented for the day or the entire weekend, including the entire house and Carriage House for your caterer and wedding ready space. Make your wedding day the most unique and individually designed as you have dreamed. All catering services must be contracted through a third party. We can help you with tent and equipment rentals.

Hi, I'm Liz! I'm based in Lynchburg, VA. I moved here from Los Angeles where I studied Fashion Design and Merchandising. Photography has been a huge passion of mine since I was in middle school but one class in college that really sparked my interest again. When the Pandemic hit, I was 6 months pregnant and starting to realize that I didn't enjoy my job anymore. I was so tired of working 50-60 hours a week and realized the most important thing to me was to be there to raise my child. So, that was that and here I am.

My photography journey started in high school, photographing church and community events. From there it was natural transition to begin offering photo sessions to my friends and family, and so Joy Shots was born in 2014.I was privileged to shoot my first wedding for a friend in 2015 and I have since had the honor to photograph over 50 weddings. I love the chances I have to work with couples from their initial engagement session through their wedding day, through capturing their growing families down through the years.
