The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I highly recommend this group for your wedding.”

“Eric was awesome to work with from the start. He’s a true professional at his work and is extremely personable. He really understood the vision for our wedding and fulfilled it ten times over. We used Eric for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and for all three he exceeded our expectations. The music was phenomenal and the lighting looks amazing in pictures. He helped us host a great party, was receptive to all of our song requests and preferences, and checked in with us as needed before and throughout the wedding. He kept the energy up all night and knew exactly what to play when. He was also a great emcee, super likable and not the least bit cheesy or abrasive during any announcements during the reception. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! It was our absolute pleasure to work with Jeremy for our wedding day and I don’t know how, but we’re going to find a reason to work with him again as soon as we can. “Neal is the G.O.A.T! He was one of our absolute favorite vendors to work with and played such a huge role in making our wedding everything we hoped it would be. From the very beginning, Neal was thoughtful, professional, incredibly accommodating, and genuinely invested in making the music feel like us. He went above and beyond by creating custom mixes for our parent dances, and they turned out absolutely perfectly. He also handled the audio for our ceremony, and the microphones and speakers were flawless! Every word could be heard clearly, there were no technical difficulties despite this being a completely outdoor wedding, and we never had to worry about a thing. The cocktail hour and reception was just as incredible. Neal played every song we wanted, completely understood the atmosphere we were going for, and kept our dance floor packed all night. The volume of every song was also perfect and we had so many guests compliment the music both during and after the wedding, which says everything! He knew exactly how to read the room and keep the energy going while still making sure the music felt personal to us. “We had an amazing experience with DJ Brian for our wedding! He was fantastic both as our DJ and MC and we felt like everything was handled so seamlessly throughout the day. For our ceremony, he coordinated directly with our coordinator to make sure the processional and ceremony timing went smoothly. We also had specific songs we wanted played at specific moments throughout the wedding and he nailed all of those cues. One of the highlights was our Battle of the Brothers game during the reception. We had a specific idea for how we wanted the game to work, but we didn't even have to walk him through how to engage the crowd — he immediately knew how to host it and keep everyone involved. Our guests were incredibly engaged and it ended up being one of the most fun moments of the reception. For the dancing, while he didn't end up playing every song we had specifically requested, there was someone on the dance floor pretty much the entire night, which says a lot about how well he read the room! He was professional, easy to work with, and did a great job keeping the energy going while also making sure the important moments of the evening happened smoothly. We’re so glad we chose him for our wedding and would definitely recommend him!”

“I first encountered 24k at a wedding that I attended in 2022. When it came time for my wedding, I remembered how they were so lively and energetic, and I inquired if they could come out a little further, even though my (June 2026) wedding was in West Virginia. The band was both flexible and easy-going about that and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT on the dance floor! Jill was the main point of contact and she asked all the right questions, including very kindly making doubly sure that everyone’s names were pronounced correctly during reception introductions (there were Chinese, European, and African names in the mix!). We made specific requests for the Bridal Party intro and First Dance songs that the band agreeably accommodated. For example, I entered into the reception with the Wyclef Jean song “911” and the band DJ’ed the song at the right parts so that my friend and vocalist could sing it live as my husband I entered the reception area (I’m 5’1” and the song references an “assailant” who is 5’1”, so it was important to get the timing right for comedic effect!) They were open to that collaboration that made the event more fun. We also asked that the lyrics of the Avett Brothers song “January Wedding” be changed to “June Wedding” when the band performed the First Dance. In terms of their actual performance, 24k BROUGHT IT (!!!). Besides sounding fantastic, the band members have great chemistry with each other and appear to actually just enjoy the music themselves. We had a diverse guest list (188 guests), and family members old and very young, co-workers, church and other friends, and friends from our martial arts dojo community, were all on the dance floor. Folks were having a GREAT time. The band maintained energy on the floor until the very end. Even the venue staff at our open bar were dancing along all night; and our wedding coordinator staff shared with me how “amazing” they thought 24K was when I walked past them! I should also mention that the individual band members I interacted with during the night were very kind and engaging. One mentioned to me that he had read the answers to our couple Bingo Trivia game that was posted and that he felt like he knew us already from reading it! You could see this open spirit in the performance of the band. After our Grand Exit, my husband and I walked about a 100 yards to our lodgings on the venue site (The Bavarian Inn); however, we stopped on our balcony to hear the band lead the guests in singing the song “Country Roads” to close out the night. We watched the twinkly lights sparkling in the distance as we heard the joy of both the band and the guests. It was truly remarkable! After the wedding, MANY guests commented on how much they enjoyed 24k’s live performance. There is a world of difference between a DJ and a quality live band, and having 24k –a *very high* quality band – made our wedding celebration so much more special, joyous, and FUN!”

He was incredibly helpful in the lead up to the big day and met with us in advance to discuss the details, the vibe we were going for, and the types of music we definitely wanted played on our big day! On the day itself, he had all the tech set up and ready to go for our ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception itself - all of which were spread out in different locations across our venue. “Jason was great throughout the whole process! He was great at communicating and making sure he had all of the songs that we wanted (and didn’t) throughout the night. He also did a great job at adjusting the songs played based off of what our guests responded well to so people were on the dance floor all the time which I loved!! He collected a bunch of photos from us and displayed them on a screen that’s built into his DJ booth (I don’t know what it’s called) and many guests came up to us to specifically tell us that they loved seeing our pictures of us and our relationship as well as pics of us growing up. It’s something I don’t even think of doing, but Jason offered and I’m so glad he did! He also set up a photo booth that was very popular. He was great at making sure that things that I needed were just taken care of and went out of his way to coordinate with my wedding planner and kept me in the loop which I appreciated. From the first interaction, Scott and Mari were professional, yet personable and willing to adapt to any way we wanted to music to happen for our daughter’s wedding reception in Virginia. Jordan was amazing during the entire planning process, he always replied in a timely manner and made every little request I had seem like no biggie and made it happen! He provides access to an online portal (extremely cool!!) which gives you the opportunity to give him a general idea of the type of music you want and keeps things extremely organized...Now more importantly, he literally had the crowd on the dance floor the ENTIRE time... and I’m not exaggerating. (People were texting me days later that they’re sore from dancing the whole night!) He is able to read the crowd and deliver. “Kelton from Marquee Artists is awesome - he killed it dj-ing for the clients, the dance floor was non-stop going nuts the whole time! His demeanor is super low-key and easy going, and he was very easy to work with, which means a lot in this field. Weddings have lots of moving parts and can be chaotic, but having vendors that are kind and willing to work as a team makes the day go a whole lot smoother. The couple had lots of requests for songs in completely different genres, but he managed to keep the party going with no awkward pauses and seamless transitions. I highly recommend hiring him if you want someone that's going to work well with everyone and make sure to light the dance floor on fire!”
